Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars (+1.5)
Chicago Bears at Philadelphia Eagles (-4)
Washington Redskins at Buffalo Bills (-10.5)
New York Jets at Miami Dolphins (+3.5)
Tennessee Titans at Carolina Panthers (-3.5)
Indianapolis Colts at Pittsburgh Steelers (+1)
Minnesota Vikings at Kansas City Chiefs (+2.5)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Seattle Seahawks (-5.5)
Detroit Lions at Oakland Raiders (-2.5)
Cleveland Browns at Denver Broncos (+4)
Green Bay Packers at Los Angeles Chargers (+3.5)
New England Patriots at Baltimore Ravens (+3)
Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants (+7)

I'm actually with you on most of those picks.  The favorite game of the week is Seattle Seahawks at home giving less than a td.  Seattle at home is so tough and against a bucs defense that gives up the plays it does I expect a game in the realm of 34-24, something along those lines.  I'm in on the hawks and the over on that game

Yeah, I don't see the Seagulls not covering (w00ps I promised not to call them that after they won the SB).

I keep going back and forth on this.

Minnesota Vikings at Kansas City Chiefs (+2.5)

I personally wouldn't touch that one but if I had to it would be Minnesota on the money line.  Matt Moore is not a bad quarterback so kc can definately hold up in this one.  Either way I would take minnesota and have them ride dalvin cook to the win.

I'm still working through the games but my early picks are the Eagles and Colts and I'll also put a few other games in for a small parlay but just not sure which other games yet. I'm thinking the Pats win again but I'm not super confident and not sure if they are worth the risk but then again its hard to go against Brady this season.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
Speaking of Michael Vick being unstoppable... Are any of you guys Madden fans? I remember Michael Vick in Madden 2006 was indeed unstoppable. It was like unfair to play with him. Great at passing or QB runs just to fuck everybody up. Just like RG-III in Madden 2013, pretty much.
I was not much of a madden fan but I still played the game from time to time and when my friends really wanted to brag about how good they were they always played the Falcons and destroyed me without mercy.

I was a bit too young to play Super Tecmo Bowl
Did you know that after so many years there are still fans of that game? They have been modifying Tecmo Bowl and they release an official version at the beginning of the season with new playbooks, players and stats and there are even online leagues where you can play.

but I do remember Bo Jackson, and this run that was lampooned in an episode of Family Guy once:

Aw sonavubitch, it won't embed. Oh well, just watch the Family Guy clip, its funnier anyway:

LOL, funny stuff.

Just for the sake of it this is the simulation of Super Bowl LIII on Tecmo Bowl and its 8bits of glory, just watch the last 4 minutes of the game to see the last drives and one of the craziest endings you could imagine for a Super Bowl.

Any thoughts on today's game? 49ers heading to Arizona looking to get their 8th consecutive win, if we go by their stats 49ers should win but the handicap is so risky on some of their past meetings the margin doesn't go above 10. However, I do like the under(44) once again 49ers last 2 road games have been under 30 and I think the Cards could keep them well under 20-30 just enough for the under to hit.

Also my vote went to the Colts, still not convinced on the Steelers despite the wins they had recently and the line for the Patriot Ravens game seems like a trap.

Wow that was closer than I though on last nights game.  With all new running backs I thought the safe play was to lay the 10 points on the 49ers glad I didnt touch it.  With new running backs who didnt know the blocking schemes I thought the 49ers would destroy arizona.  Maybe arizona and kyler are a little better than I give them credit for...and for the colts game, my money is on the colts all day.  I dont trust Rudolf and the steelers one bit.  Is conner going to play in that game?

Yeah, Drake really came out of the gate flying over there. If Johnson ends up missing a protracted length of time he will be a nice pickup.

AFA no Connor and no TY, I have to say that hurts the colts more but I am leaning their way by a few even though Pittsburgh is tough at home.

Connor is officially listed as doubtful, which probably means he's not playing at all on Sunday.
Steelers third RB Benny Snell is out as well, so Jaylen Samuels, as you said, will be their only running option. Dude is def gonna get a decent amount of touches and i'm always in need of cheap RBs, perfect match i guess.
It feels lonely to be the only Steelers backer for the weekly poll. (T.Y. Hilton is injured and not going to play, not sure if this good or bad news for the Colts Cheesy).

He probably won't play even though official injury reports are due later today. Afaik, he missed all the team practices this week. If i were the Steelers i wouldn't risk playing him, especially with a shoulder injury. They don't have a chance against the Ravens in the AFC North this season anyway, better be extra cautious and not risk a more serious injury.

Nice I have Jaylen Samuel's stashed on my bench.  Is definately one of the better handcuffs to have and with conner out jaylen will def be a rb1/rb2 this week against the colts.  Especially in a ppr league.  He should get 20+ touches/targets between run plays and pass plays.

Good choice to put up the closest spread, i'm having a real difficult time deciding. it would be easy if pittsburg wasn't at home.

AFA the Pats game yeah it will be good and I'm benching Ingram and have to play Brady because (I grabbed Brees off the wire) Bree's is on bye. I really did want to play Cousins this week but I couldn't pass up the chance to grab Brees before someone else.

Having a hard time deciding on TE and Flex this week, Think I'll run with Henry and Lindsay.
I'm a 2 point underdog.

Choices:
Hunter Henry LAC - TE
Phillip Lindsay Den - RB
Travis Kelce KC - TE
Terry McLaurin WAS - WR
Mark Ingram II Bal - RB

Yo, I swear I was expecting to see a totally different game for the weekly poll today.

Patriots might have their first real test in Baltimore against the Ravens and their unorthodox run game. I know that Belichick has a perfect record against 1st or 2-year QBs but Lamar is something else. Spread is also pretty close -/+3.

Anyway, voted Steelers just because T.Y. Hilton screwed my fantasy team last week with 54 miserable yards...
I was expecting Pats at Ravens as well as it is the clear game of the week, but in a way I am glad it is not, of all the games that are left if you were to ask me which one has the highest chances of being lost by the Patriots I would have chosen this game, Lamar reminds me of Michael Vick and we know he was unstoppable on his prime and coach Harbaugh knows he can beat Bill Belichick since he has done it many times in the past.

TBH I just pick the game with the spread closest to zero, so each poll can be for a 50-50 ML bet. It doesn't often work out exactly that way, but this week it does. Indeed Pats/Ravens is the more exciting game. I would still go with Pats in a heartbeat. My fantasy team is up against Brady this week, so I hope this game is their first loss, of course. But if I was betting on the moneyline -- Pats all the way.

About the game of the poll I voted for the Colts, they are too good in all aspects of the game and the Steelers even had some problems against the Dolphins.

New Poll Up:

11/03 1:00 PM

[463] INDIANAPOLIS
[464] PITTSBURGH

This is the most even matchup of probably any game we've had this year, with some books offering a line of 0, some Colts -1, and some Pittsburgh -1.

As of now, 76% of public money is on the Colts... Gonna have to go with the Colts on this one.

4 of 6 if we count weekly poll picks, i think i was the only who backed up the Eagles here (3/3 split votes) to win despite all the problems they have atm.

I'm officially done with spread lines and AH, from now one it's either ML or anything related to O/U. Sick of losing bets by a couple of points late in games. Saquon scored with a min left just to screw my parlay, i'm not mad at him, Lions last two possessions were absolute shit though...Pfff

Yes it hurts mate and that is why in games I think the team might not cover the spread I buy an extra one or two points like I did in the Dolphins/Steelers game last night even though the Dolphins did cover the spread that most sportsbooks were offering at the +14 but I just wasn't sure so I got 3 extra points and the odds were $1.55 so I was happy with that. Sometimes buying them extra points pays off when the game is close and late in the game.

I can't believe the Dolphins not only couldn't cover the spread but the game didn't cover the over after they put up 14 points first 2 possessions! Maybe the rumors they are intentionally tanking to get the first draft are true. Apparently they refused to get mic'ed up for the game.

This was also pretty retarded for a team to do, even the announcers were speculating wtf the defence was doing.

Quote
The Steelers pulled within 14-10 at the break thanks to the first of Minkah Fitzpatrick’s two interceptions and an odd defensive play call by the Dolphins.

Leading by 11 points and with Pittsburgh facing third-and-20 outside of field goal range, Miami opted to blitz and didn’t bother to guard Johnson, who took a short pass from Rudolph and used a couple of downfield blocks by Washington to weave his way 45 yards to the end zone.

Dolphins +14 @ Steelers. Miami hasn't looked as bad since Fitzpatrick came in for Rosen. I think they might cover the spread.
As for the Dolphins covering their spread, i think i'm out of this one, have a bad feeling Conner and JuJu will both explode and have monster games.

☑ Dolphins lose 14:27 but cover the spread
☑ Conner + JuJu both finish with 1TD and 100+ yards
☒ me drafting either of them in my fantasy league or take the Dolphins spread

this is pure comedy...

Good call @ralle14 for the under 44pts!

Ralle14 is pretty good at predicting the score. I thought of the under 43.5pts but decided not to went with the over instead and look what happens. Roll Eyes
I thought the dolphins were looking for their first win of the season with putting in a better quarterback then what they had starting the season. It looked good at the beginning with them causing two turnovers and converting on both of them.
Should of known better since the mud bowl of 2007. Cheesy
