Hey when you guys post your bets why don't you use the format
Team1@Team2 spread
Bengals @ Ravens -6.5 sounds great
Redskins @ Dolphins +2.5 sounds good (Dolphins win eventually win 1 and this one might be it)
Cowboys @ Jets +6.5 sounds great
So we know both teams and who the home team is without having to check.
This may sound like a dumb question, but does the spread refer to the home team? For example, its the Ravens that are -6.5? I'm going to guess the answer is "yes" without actually researching the spreads.
Godwin and Evans' performances gave me a leg up on this week's fantasy game so far, even if TB lost their game. Its still gonna be a close one...
The shorthand we used to use is as you said in relation to the home team.
So tonight would be:
Steelers@Chargers -6
~At the moment.
With the home team Chargers giving the visitors 6 points.
I don't care what is used as I just did some checking and i don't see any sites using shorthand and it looks like they all use spreadsheets (must give the old bookies headaches! ). I think mine used to use ATS (at the spread) with a - or a + for the home team.
I would just like to know the quick down and dirty with a quick one liner like that. It doesn't matter to me what format you guys use, if there is a different one these days then just let me know.
Duuuuh, Ravens and Skins won their games but both fucked my parlay with 4th Q opponent touchdowns (last 2min)
Dolphins went for a 2 point conversion being down 17-16. lol
At least my fantasy team is looking good, i might crack the top 10 (out of 620). My team L.Jackson, M.Ingram, Carson, Mclaurin, AP, i also have Sanu hopefully he gets a TD or two.
Yeah there's real science on those spreads these days. Thats one reason I stopped back in the day, losing by a half point all the time will make you prematurely grey!
Edit: Sweet I streamed Coleman this week, grabbed Hyde as well but sat him in favor of McLaurin. I wish i had Hy7de in and coleman on the bench but I think i have this week in hand finally.
