I bought a set of headphones from Overstock.com. I like that some merchants accept bitcoin and I intentionally planned to make that purchase with bitcoin rather than using fiat just to support bitcoin.
This has been brought up as a thread before. I've come to view bitcoin as something that shouldn't be spent, like gold & silver. But the only thing I ever bought with bitcoin was some silver quarters from Provident Metals, and that was last year. I won't be buying things with bitcoin any longer. If I get rid of what I have, it'll be for fiat, not for goods or services.
What was the first thing you bought with your Bitcoin? Did you treat your loved ones to a classy restaurant? Or did you bought something for yourself? Bitcoin indeed is really helpful 
Back on the time when i earned my first satoshis i didn't have any opportunity to spend them, so the only way that i benefit from bitcoin was to sell them and i sold them for cash, the price was really now comparing with the price nowdays.
the first thing that i bought by btc was my personal computer. i just get my btc mostly in altcoin trading to btc and i very satisfy on the result of the trading.and that the first time that i will buy my PC.and im so glad of it.

That is not exactly buying with bitcoins...you exchanged your coins for the keys.Certainly not a suitable way to use bitcoins.The first thing i bought is not any material things, instead of that i buy more Bitcoins and and some are invested it in the altcoins.
What's the point of posting on this thread anyway ? We're here to discuss the usability of bitcoins in the real world scenario.Its nice to see people buying stuff apart from investing in altcoins comments.
I bought a Prepaid Load with my BTC! Well it's the most affordable when i was beginning LOL. and besides those where the only purchaseable item i saw that time. Others sevice are bill payment, and it wasn't time to pay the bill that time. And btw, it feels great to buy your first item in BTC and it went smoothly

In my country those shops or store , restaurants are not yet accepting bitcoin as a payment method we are still hoping and waiting that the bitcoin can be accepted in some stores and even restaurants . For now i am using bitcoin for loading my phone's prepaid account but we can convert bitcoin to our currency instantly but we need some verification in able to cash it out .
The first thin i ever bought with bitcoins where other coins because i got the oppertunity to sell my bitcoins to double them and it worked so i sell 20 and got 40.
I dont but anything as of now because Im just new here in bitcoin community but I will invest it or if it becomes big I will make a gift for my parents.

HMM well my country accept bitcoins payment and i turn my btc into cash and i bough my own personal computer/digital good online with my bitcoins and i use bitcoin also to bough some steam / garena cash here in my country because coins.ph is the best also treat my girlfriend to watch some movies launch eat together and im looking forward for more

For me, I haven't bought anything. I put my first hard earned bitcoin into some HYIP sites and got scammed. I learned a lot now and I know how to avoid getting scam. Thanks for all the advice I got on this forum. It really helped me a lot to know how to avoid those scam sites.
It is sound sad enough, but not too bad dude even you got important experience in bitcoin world at the first time you have bitcoin. From the mistake that have been done by you, you can take experience to don't repeat the same mistakes. No problem if you not use your first earning bitcoin to buy something but you get more worth than that.

My first thing i bought is slimarmor and tempered glass of my phones and my 2 cousins phones. Thats awesome because in the first time of my life il treat them in restaurant my feeling is so thankful to god that i know now to earn by myself and thanks to god that i buy what i want to buy.

The first thing i bought with bitcoin was actually a VPN service. This is probably one of the best things bitcoins can buy, best way to increase your anonymity. And i personally consider bitcoin as the currency to buy digital items, its not really a convenient to buy physical items with bitcoin. Jump to:
