Some people will probably guess the same way about me as you do, but that doesn't really matter to me. It's true that I'm Asian and live in a place [where there has been a long conflict in the past], but I can't tell you about this openly because maybe some people will be very angry with my behavior about spammers. If you really want to know, just send me a PM.  Wink

Thanks for telling me, I never knew about that before.

Of course it will be very nice when I know so much about them.

YOSHIE, COOLCRYPTOVATOR, and GeorgeJohn thanks for the words, this will motivate me a lot. While I can only try to do it in the best way and consistent with my main goal and only you guys will help me to continue to develop after I received very constructive suggestions.

But I'm definitely not Spanish.  Cheesy

I know you're not Spanish, and I don't think your native language is Spanish either but apparently you're unwilling to disclose it.  I'm guessing someplace in south-central Asia, like India or a neighboring country.  Just a wild guess, and obviously I could be wrong.

I didn't realize that my behavior all along seemed like someone was rushing about something on this forum because only other people could judge it.

I can only speak for myself, but yes I do get that impression.

I want to know what I can give to this forum, I hope you guys will support me.
What do you have, I mean: ideas, knowledge etc, related to Bitcoin and the Bitcointalk Forum, maybe all of us here unknowingly have given and done things that are useful for the forum, which is basically: do what is in your mind, maybe it's better in every way.

Of course we will support what you do here, as long as it has positive values.

Oh, yes congratulations on something new (Full), hopefully it will be better in the future.

Congrats on your achievement. And you deserve that. You can give only one thing to the forum and the forum expecting only one thing as well, that is your best contribution. Yes, since you ranking up by earning merits means you are contributing to the forum. Just keep this contribution, nothing else forum demand from you. I would say till now you are on right track, doesn't necessary to write too many posts on the forum. Rather than that is good you are learning more. That's the perfect way to grow yourself and become an established forum user.

Best of luck to you.

Bitcoin is achievement
To start with i congratulate you for the new measure you have taken to this community of bitcointalk worldwide, actually it's not easy to grow from step to step,at least you have reached to the third rank of the forum as bitcointalk community precised, and it's remaining about three more positions or rank's ahead of you, i believe that for you to secure this height of full member you will definitely get ride to others positions, just devote out your time to follow the activities of the community it will enable you to expand more knowledge of bitcoin understanding morally.. congrats again, note: forum take whosoever that take it serious very serious.

I don't think you'll have any trouble earning the merit to rank up, seems like you're earning at a respectable pace so far.

But... you come off as being in a hurry to "join the club."  Generally speaking those who are in a hurry tend to make people suspicious.  Considering the hassle you already had as a result of your choice of name, I would try to stay humble if I were you.

BTW, Your English is great, but it's obvious it isn't your native language.  Mind if I ask what is?  I'm only curious because I'm learning Spanish (my third language) I and find it fascinating how adjectives are applied in the various languages.
Sorry, is there a special club or something on the forum so far? Give me a little explanation about this, maybe I will be interested in becoming a member in the future.

I only know about the spambuster club that is on the meta board and I don't know who its members are either. Although I have a direction and behavior that is in line with the idea of this club but I remain independent without being part of any club at this time.

DireWolfM14, since the beginning someone [maybe some] have noticed me [positive or negative] just because my account username is similar to an artist of this forum is Legendary rank and is also a well-known managers of this forum Darkstar_. I once questioned it on a board because I never knew some users would be affected by this name who might assume and suspect that I was undercover. But of course that's not the reason I use this name because it is the name of a place that I have visited several times in my country in 2020 and I was inspired by it.

DireWolfM14, your guess about my mother tongue is correct because English is not my mother tongue. I learned a lot about English and I also took private English lesson for 2 month with a final grade of A. This helps me to post in a correct and easy to understand way although some term are slightly different from those in other countries. But I'm definitely not Spanish.  Cheesy

I didn't realize that my behavior all along seemed like someone was rushing about something on this forum because only other people could judge it. They can judge everything objectively as usual, but I've been here for 1 year 20 days which is a lot of time for me to spend if I want to learn a lot. I read more when I have time than post and have only been active the last few months. I don't think it's wrong, but people are free to share their assumption about my behavior. Thank you for your response and your advice.

Sorry about this long post, as this is my chance to explain the problem you are asking about. Because you are in a different time zone than me, you should be sleeping now. LOL

New milestone today for _BlackStar. It took 1 year 20 days for me to reach this rank [Full Member] with 120 posts, 120 activity, 109 merit and 900 spam post reports to moderators. I know this is not a good statistic from me because there are many other users who are much stronger than me. But here's what I can do for the forum so far regardless of whether people will like it or not.

Being a spam busters is not a bad way in my opinion if it is an attempt by one of the users to raise awareness of the spammers about the quality of their posts. No intention to hurt anyone just because I reported some posts they made [spammers]. Apart from their goal to make money, they should also pay attention to post quality, not quantity. Congratulations on my ranking as a Full Member [minutes - hours from now] and next I will try to get a higher rank [Senior - Legendary] with my efforts and contribution to this forum. Clap for me.

I've considered this before so it's probably pointless if this thread is considered spam by some users. But in reality I'm just going to assume that this thread is part of how I motivate myself to stay longer on the forum and also as a way to evaluate myself since becoming active. I thank you for all your support and kind words and I appreciate it but now I will lock this thread.

Good that you rank up on the forum and it might be big achievement for you as gaining merits is not easy as well not hard if you are capable of it and activity is distributed every two weeks if you are active during that period but these types of ranking up posts are deemed to be of low quality in the forum as this is not under constructive discussion over the forum. There are lot of similar threads on the forum whose hidden purpose is to achieve some more merits with these kinds of posts but now it's hard as many have done the same thing. When you rank up your responsibility increases and you need to aware other newbies not to indulge in such practice not create such threads yourself.See there are still lot of milestones to be achieved and as senior member it's just friendly advice.

I and some high rank members have previously also adviced that if you can avoid these types of ranking up thread then avoid them because there are many members ranking up daily or weekly and if everyone will start creating such threads it's gonna create mess on the forum and you will see pages filled with them and you won't get any merits for them as well.Keep up the same way you started and you will see better results and more recognition on the forum.

_Blackstar, DarkStar. Not insinuating anything though but, upon seeing the thread associated with rank up, my mind keep drifting back to DarkStar because, the user is sure to have archived the highestrank and yet would be awkward to see yet another rank up celebrations form that user.

Anyway, I'm sure to have seen _Blackstar around and it's of note that the user is doing quite well and you can tell from the accumulated merits. I thought it was down to 10merits or a bit higher but, 50merits is a lot high for a newly celebrated member. That'sto tell us that, the barrier to higher ranks for this user is just activities.

Congratulationsmust of all and see you up the ranks soon as time/activities permit. Cheers.

I don't have enough time to post and be active on bitcointalk forum every day because of my work. But I always take the time to post and learn things that can make myself develop as a knowledgeable user about bitcoin, wallet, forum rule and so on.

Today I managed to move up the ranks to become a member because to the posts I made since I registered in this forum. I thank you for your merit and support so far even though I don't want to celebrate at all. Next I will reach full member if I manage to get 100 merit and my activity count reach 120. I want to know what I can give to this forum, I hope you guys will support me.
Congratulations mate, although you had the merit of a member before now, activities works in hand with it if you want to rank up, allow me to shake your shoulders up in encouraging you to participate more and early also, if you ever had set a goal to be ranking up, get used to engaging/participating.
Further more do you mean what you can give, in terms of gifts/support, or what you can contribute?
While others in the thread have already covered the most common ways to help the forum, I'll add a few more:

  • If you have sMerit left over, merit high quality posts (especially if they were made by someone of a lower rank as that'll help them to rank up).
  • If you have something to promote, bid on the forum's monthly ad auction thread. The link to the current auction thread can be found at the top of https://bitcointalk.org/adrotate.php?adinfo. You both get to advertise and support the forum.
  • If you don't mind ads, disable ad block. If the ad is promoting something that you're interested in, check it out. New paying customers coming in via the ads is a win-win-win for all parties involved: the user finds a service / website he needed, the service / website gets a return on their ad investment and Bitcointalk shows that its ads are effective at attracting customers. Don't randomly click on ads you couldn't care less about though - that helps no one.
  • Offer services / goods on the forum. The marketplace boards (both regular and in the altcoin sections) are a big part of Bitcointalk. The more commercial activity there, the more likely business-minded users will choose Bitcointalk as their main platform for commerce.

However, as people have pointed out, there's a reason why Bitcointalk removed its donation address - it doesn't need financial support at the moment. As for mods, if you really want to gift a moderator (or any other user for that matter) some BTC, most moderators have a Bitcoin address in their profile. Click on their username and look for the "Bitcoin address:" field. If you're gonna pick a moderator to gift some BTC to, pick one of the dedicated board mods (who isn't a global moderator or admin).
It think you should read that if it was the former you meant but if not I think you have to work on your activities. Congratulations once again.

Thank you for your support and kind words.

I am committed to always trying my best to post something useful even though I was not born a tech-savvy person. Coming from a poor family does not make me fail to gain knowledge at school so I can still think that nothing is difficult if we want to learn. Everything is still possible and because this forum is user-based, interactions must always be well-established. As in real life, not everyone likes us and wants to help us and this is also the case in this forum.

I don't think that it is not worth a celebrate because not all can become member whenever they want. It requires hardwork and skills to make good quality post. Even to me, i find it hard to actually get merits but lucky you because you've managed to come this far and i know you'll become a full member soon because you work hard and has the ability to post useful information that could help others.

Also i wanted to tell you that it is worth to celebrate.
