The main function of religion is to make sure that there is peace in the community.

Religion is a relationship with God it does not matter what religion you belong to,but it is the importance of your relationship with God.If we want a deeper,more intimate connection with God we must learn to honestly share your fellings with him,trust him.
For the most part religion is there to clarify what science can't. It discloses to the majority an extremely confounded framework to an exceptionally straightforward personality. That was previously instruction is at its approach. Presently religion goes about as a cradle or a scape goat of sorts. A man will state that whatever is transpiring has a reason. It gives trust in an extremely dull circumstance.
In my opinion, religion was born out of the "bicameral mind" theory. Essentially, we humans created God in our minds in order to feel that we have a set purpose on this earth. In this instance, God is simply our inner conscious that arose out from the same evolution that gave us consciousness.
I'm not an athiest. I believe there is a God that "coded" our universe. Science and math and the laws that govern our physical universe had to be put into place by something. That being said, I do not conform to any religion.
Religion has done great things in terms of teaching morality, however, it has also brought a ton of pain and suffering (i.e. The Crusades, Spanish Inquisition, conflict in the Middle East).
I seek to find God in terms of our world. I like to think that any scientist/creator has a hypothesis for their creation, but not a set "plan." Thus, our purpose on this earth should simply be to do whatever we can to grow life and advanced consciousness. By diversifying our species (who, by our definition, has the highest level of consciousness), we give life the best odds to survive.
Let's colonize the universe with consciousness.

in the middle ages 5-15 centuries, en europe, the church has taken control over every peace of humans life. education, scietist researches everything was stuck. this is the function of religion: control and rule
It serve as our barrier tobsin beecause if we are believing in God definitely we will not do anything which is against him.. I am not talking that all religion is good. Its up to you if how your religion affects your decisions in life.

Depends on religion but the most obvious function is to make money from other people and build strong community of slaves without physical resourses.

The sole aim of religion is to guide people to a common destination, followed by different paths only. dont know why conflict occurs for this?
Again, especially historically, religious hierarchies have been important agents of redistribution, taking in contributions of money and resources, and redistributing on the basis of need. The opening of religious buildings for community use or in times of disaster also qualifies. There is also individual support in terms of emotional counseling, spiritual guidance, and material assistance in times of trouble.
I dont believe in religion separations. we were not told directly by God about maintaining a specific religion
