Yes, times have changed a lot. There are a lot of altcoins that took the hype from bitcoin in the last month, like ETH, Ripple and LTC, but I don't think that they fully take it over unless they can really gain the support of the community. Although bitcoin has many issues that is still unresolved, that's not enough to sway investors from moving out their funds and go to altcoin market. So there's no chance for the alt's to make bitcoin step down even for a bright moment.

And now, since the market is crashing, bitcoin's dominance will go up again. After everything settles down, investors who have sold off will go back to bitcoin because the price is cheap at the moment. And then it will enjoy another rally while altcoins will suffer and go back to its normal price.

Now a days altcoin market is very dump you have never seen before look like this market but most of the people afraid with it. If you think market still now dump and never pump so you have bad think because sometime latter bitcoin , eth and Ltc is again growing so don't kill your time make a positive mind.

Actually we can't predict what happen by these coins in the near future, that was the hard thing to do we can't exactly predicted crypto currencies. Besides, As you've mentions these coins i think is a good coins and it has a strong fundamental coins and they have team to develop. All you have to do now is hold as what i have read on your given link it takes a month of recovering in all coins, so just hold it now and wait for the right time to sell your coins.

Of course there is a chance of recovering. I'm actually taking this crash as something normal in crypto, so I'm not paying a lot of attention to it. We had a really big crash in September as well. We came from highs of $5000 to lows of $3000 and we easily recovered from that. I know it's not a crash as big as this one, but it ends up being the same thing in my opinion. A lot of fud leads to panic selling (this time with a little help from wall street going short on bitcoin), and then people see that bitcoin is still surviving, and it's not a bubble like bitconnect for example (that already went down 92% since its platform closed). Let's patiently wait wait for LN to be deployed, and things will boost again. Right now, we are at the hands of people with big money, that can manipulate the market. Let them play and just hold your coins, because they can't really kill bitcoin, even if they wanted to.

BTC will recover, no questions asked. ETH got a big upward spike in the price in the last few weeks so I doubt it's going to stop after it recovers from the recent drop. LTC, yet another altcoin that is going to recover in no time, it is one of those alts that has gained the trust and acceptance from the crypto community, merchants, and investors, so it'll keep being a top altcoin in the future.

I think the bleeding of crypto market is happening due to panic sale and the panic started from all of the news we are seeing currently.

Mike bell's news is just BS.
Last year we faced China actions and recovered without any problem. We also said, we will move forward without China, if you all remember.
And now South Korea actions, whatever happens, I hope we will all move forward and accept the bitter truth.

The future of Btc, Eth or Ltc is bright until & unless you get panicked and start selling off.

When there is a bad news, there is also a good news on the other side. Just search for it.

These are top currencies now a days and until we see the bloodbath recovered we can have better speculation for the year 2018. However I still believe in them and can predict that all of them will rise in good way.

Bitcoin : It is one of the crucial currency for the market and it will always stay on top with huge market cap. In the year 2018 it will be however will rise very slow because of its underdeveloped scale up issue. However if it gets any spikes in that area then we could see some good moves soon.

Ethereum : From the internet and the forum itself, the discussion says that ETH is going to spike a lot more than any other alt coin in the market. As they all are saying it is the year of ETH so yeah lets be positive about it and see some great spikes like 10K or even higher.

Litecoin : LTC is always undervalued initially but after it got jumped to new height last year it is having more attention now a days. The coin will have more investors this year and they will rise the market cap for LTC to good ATH.

This year's recovery is nothing but huge profits for the new investors and old one's too.

I think looking at the current market conditions is not a good idea when predicting the future of the main cryptos. As you can see, absolutely every crypto (except tether) is massively in the red right now, this is just due to a panic sell-off, and has happened many times in the past. At one point (after the Mt. Gox hack), BTC crashed to 1/10th its prior value, and still recovered to reach the heights we saw last year. The time of crypto is FAR from over.

These three coins are recovering in future. Because Korea and China are banned in trading. But Korea financial minister. Reconsider the Bitcoin trading. It will solve in few more days. So as soon as possible these coins are recovering. I think Bitcoin is reach in 16k US dollar at the end of February. Other two coins also pump in next month. This is temporary issues in crypto market.

Don't look daily at prices. The recent decline is temporary.

We have to look at cryptocurrency from the long-term angle. In the first place, these coins mentioned here did not magically arrived at their current value they had to undergo so many trials and problems first before we are seeing them now today. There is no walk-in-the-park kind of thing in cryptocurrency all value have been worked for. Overall the future looks good but to get there we have to experience so many bumps and humps that can discourage so many. No wonder it is really hard to be a part of the pioneering stage of any industry or business...the same thing is true with cryptocurrency. The setbacks happening now is just very temporary...days from now things would get better and then we can forget this episode.
