in long term here is what i think will happen:
bitcoin
if Lightning Network is adopted within reasonable timing and additionally we do something about the on-chain scaling and the spam attacks, there will be a ridiculous explosion of adoption for bitcoin. there won't be any more scaling issue with LN and consequently price will be a lot more than this due to the real adoption as a currency not just for speculation.
ethereum
due to the serious scaling issues that it has, ETH will turn into a proper centralized cryptocurrency. it currently is centralized but nobody talks about it, but eventually as the blockchain size increases to something that only a super server (like master nodes) can handle the network will be centralized. this is never good for any crypto. it will stay around but it will be surpassed by other similar projects which are not yet centralized like it.
litecoin
it really doesn't offer anything! LTC just has faster blocks, that is all. they also changed the algo to scrypt but it is being mined by ASICS for scrypt mining!!!
and with BTC's LN the faster blocks of LTC doesn't mean anything.

Although now the currency, the ether, litecoin are tested, one hand, I believe the future is very good, maybe BTC, eth, LTC has become a global digital currency benchmark, if they have no future, so so digital currency will be gone!
I think bitcoin and ethereum just have a future with it because of the huge amount of bitcoin and ethereum incomes, and it's just the famous altcoins because of their high prices.
The future of bitcoin, ethereum, litecoins is very good when viewed from the current developments. Maybe btc, eth, ltc will be the digital currency in the future that is used all over the world
