As a trader I don't trade against the trend, so I won't do that this time as well. I don't believe in this pump due to the strength of downtrend momentum and many signs of continuation of bear trend, including the lack of capitulation.

We need another growth of crypto currencies to attract the new audience. Big companies are buying tons of altcoins at the moment and when they have finished their shopping, another bullish trend will start.
Like you are mentioning, I guess no big companies will support unknown projects. They might be investing only with few highly reputed coins/projects. But I am sure that they will be investing with bitcoin in huge levels at this cheaper prices so that they may get more benefits in short time period itself. Definitely this space is requiring another round of bull markets to have new investors and long term holders. 
The question is interesting, but there are many nuances, if we analyze, the cryptocurrency market is very unpredictable and for which reason the conclusion suggests itself that the market growth dynamics is rather unpredictable and buying certain tokens is not entirely safe since most of the tokens are tied to the market and if the market goes down, then, accordingly, the rate of the token will also go down and that is why I strongly recommend thinking very well before investing in any project.

I do not want to say the obvious things, but if you look at monitoring the market for some time, you can understand the state of the market right now, whether it grows or stagnates.
crypto is the so much popularity earn at the moment. all time crypto market can not growth. i think 2017 year was the best time for crypto. 2018 full year was not crypto market prices hopeful. but we are belived that crypto still have any time market can do growth. and we can get chance for earn some profit or recover our capital in near future.
The crypto market continues to move and no one is able to control, this movement gives a lot of good and negative perceptions. But seeing a living market then this makes crypto a future, with good development then people are motivated to survive in crypto.
I think Crypto did not experience significant growth. But a significant and sure decline to recover requires a long time. The growth of bitcoin depends on large investors. Because I see that this market seems to be controlled by big investors and has lots of coins.
The crypto market is uncontrollable,only people with big money can alter the prices for very short time period but in long term the emotions are driving the crypto currency market,and it is reaching growth every year may not in term of price but in overall technology based lot of cryptos coming and the market gets matured everyday.
I am not sure there is any sign of significant growth of crypto these year, most of the money seems going out of the crypto. On the other hand on technological side growing is significant many new ideas, many MPVs people find more ways which will lead us mass adoption. What makes me stresses is even we have some unique project ideas we still have many "copy paste old fashioned project" most of these deserve to die soon.

if it's about growth, I see crypto seems to be experiencing a setback. so from no reason to buy now. I'd better monitor until the market starts to stabilize, then make an investment plan

when viewed from 2009, indeed Crypto currently has tremendous growth. but when viewed from last year, this is a disaster. You can't call it growth because a lot of people here lose their money. last year's fall was like a huge storm and destroyed everything.
For now cryptocurrency market is slowly growing again as we saw the last couple of days cryptocurrency market goes pump slightly and we assume and we hope that it remains consistent until it becomes more powerful than before.

we can see it from the marketcap and it always increases every year, and to invest in dialtcoins in my opinion you can start at any time because the profit or loss depends on the moment we do, because altcoins always go up and down so we should be able to use it by waiting for price movement patterns to make a profit.
Definitely over the years, the crypto market has experienced a significant growth cumulatively. Although last year, there was a serious downtrend with regards market capitalization of cryptocurrencies. I think in the long run, there will be a spike if and only if mainstream adoption comes.
