These are stand alone miners, are they?

No.  They require a controller via USB.

It probably tries to start mining, but stops before it actually gets shares. Double check that the cooling head is mounted good and you have good contact, and also with all the fans off just plug in the pump and make sure you can hear/feel the pump running. I have a couple that would immediately thermal overload, and in both cases it was that the pump on the cooler was dead.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Smiley

Yep yep yep tralalaaaaa Smiley

1 water block wasn't tight enough Smiley

Connected second board and CGminer is crashing with a note "thermal overload tripped"

It doesn't start mining at all so not sue what "thermal overload" means.

One more thing- where Hash rate should be it says "ZOMBIE"

Any help or opinion is appreciated.

Just ordered 11 of the Habs.. Can't wait!

I have a RaspberryPi which I was thinking of using as a controller.

How many Habs would a single RaspberryPi handle? Or should I go with something more stronger like an Intel NUC. I don't mind purchasing multiple RaspberryPis, just wanted to check with someone that had experience with it before I placed an order.

Any downside I should know about when using the RaspberryPi as a controller?

Finally managed to fire up one board (was making frame for it) and noticed that 850MHz gave me around 630GH/s then I have tried 900MHz and it gave me 600GH/s.?

Not sure if it is my PSU or Voltage. Voltage was 0.86.

Hey guys, sorry for the sudden take down of orders. We had a large order come in that swept up a bunch of what would be the remaining stock on this batch, and we took it down as a precaution. Nothing so far is indicating yields are bad, but since we still have the last parts of the batch to test tomorrow, we pulled orders down pending getting a final count on the number of boards we'll have available and our final stock status going forward. We should still have more, but we want to be absolutely sure that we don't oversell the batch and not be able to supply everyone in a timely fashion, or move all the boards out and not keep a few in reserve in case an RMA comes in.

Now, that I can't have one I want one even worse especially with the release of the software to make your card explode by altering the voltages (not really, but that would be my luck).

Just got this forwarded on to me from someone who received it in a PM.

Hi,

The miners are shipping from the US but if you prefer I can process your order directly and mark the package as a low value for duty purposes.  I could mark the value as $150 Wink

Current price per unit is 1.28 btc inc express shipping.

If you want to place the order the payment address is -

After payment pm me the transaction I.D and your shipping address.

Thanks,

MrTeal.

That's not me, obviously. Don't send that guy money.

The other trick that is being used lately is replacing one letter in the username see this example:
fake profile- bobsaq3
real profile- bobsag3

The g and q can be tricky to spot if you don't pay attention.

Yep, running errands while deposits confirmed and out of stock when I got back. Grumble grumble... Hopefully there's a batch 3, I was really looking forward to playing with these.
I've got some from batch 1 that we are building into systems. I have a few extra bare boards that we can probably part with. Sidehack, I would double check tomorrow to make sure they are definitely sold out. If so PM me and I can probably hook you up.

Thanks Canary. I almost hesitated to report the user. Didn't expect as much reaction.
Now I'm glad I did.

Hi all.

Anyone see this?

One of my cards, no matter the clock setting, will, after a couple of minutes hashing, display the error:

"No valid hashes for over 6 seconds, shutting down thread."

It usually never gets over 97c.

Any ideas? My other board seems to be hashing ok.

I am going to pull the pump and reseat it... although i can't imagine why that would help.

Hitting the reset button gets the board going another few minutes.
