Just got this forwarded on to me from someone who received it in a PM.

Hi,

The miners are shipping from the US but if you prefer I can process your order directly and mark the package as a low value for duty purposes.  I could mark the value as $150 Wink

Current price per unit is 1.28 btc inc express shipping.

If you want to place the order the payment address is -

1LUTUHDD1HXSqg8VQQzxYv8CXKyQkXXXXXX

After payment pm me the transaction I.D and your shipping address.

Thanks,

MrTeal.

That's not me, obviously. Don't send that guy money.

How much will the hashfast bankruptcy affect this project, or is that still unknown at this point?

Hashfast can sell all the chips they want in order to pay their debts. They are not making full rigs anymore.

Good news then. Thanks!

Damn, that is quite interesting. It looks like you can definitely run Ubuntu, and it looks like Rikomagic has something similar specifically for linux. I will continue researching and then grab a couple of the most promising for testing. Let me know of any others and I will report results for anyone else interested.

I would be curious, btw I cant find the buy button on that site.. Sad

I'm using minepeon and want to know if adding the following on the settings page would have the same effect as adding it directly to the config file;

 #!/bin/bash
sleep 10
/usr/bin/screen -dmS miner /opt/minepeon/bin/cgminer --hfa-fan 100 --hfa-temp-target 0 --hfa-temp-overheat 110 --hfa-fail-drop 0 --hfa-hash-clock 200 --api-port 4028 --api-listen --api-network -c /opt/minepeon/etc/miner.conf

I believe you dont need --api-port 4028, by default the port is set to 4028, its only used if you want to connect to it via a different port on your network.

I finally figured out how to get the rpi to run these with cgminer.  But I have my directories confused or something and I can't find the config file to update it the speed.  When I save the default file under settings it's saving it somewhere I can't find. So I am running at the default 550 Mhz.  If anyone has an image to share I would appreciate it and send you a tip.

Or a free Nano Fury 2 USB miner if you're into that sort of thing.  New, not used.  I manufacture them.

I am pretty sure with the pi to open the conf file you do sudo nano /root/.cgminer/cgminer.conf. Cannot access my rigs at home right now so I cannot tell your for 100%. Best way is to run cgminer and save the conf file to /home/pi/cgminer.conf.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Also when your viewing/editing the cgminer.conf remove the line that has like hfa-hash-clock 550 , the command line overrides will not work if this is set.. kinda silly, I asked Con that if you override a command via the command line it should use that instead of whats in the config..

just a tip

OK - even if my cgminer directory is cgminer-4.3.4

Just do the --config /home/pi/cgminer.conf, if you want to put it in the same directory as cgminer that would work as well.
