Amazing progress and sharing in the irc channel, that's what I call a real collaboration. Here's what's found until now:

Darkstone overlayed individual banknote images over each other in Gimp. overlaying any image 1-6 with 7 yields the Qr code, overlaying any image 1-6 with 8 yields the dots.

Fantastic work by everyone, but specially from frisco82 and Darsktone.

Things various people have been working on:
- Overlaying the noise images on top of each other in various hallucination-inducing though not otherwise revelatory ways. this often involves transparency masking given the "what's white is clear" line in the video. It's noteworthy that the width of the three files is the same, so one common approach is to drag the smaller ones across the bigger one in various combinations.
- Using various color shifts on the files based on their fruity names.
- Trying to overlay a noise mask over the four frames with noise that have been linked above.
- Sifting through bits.

Other random notes:
- I think the "space is an illusion, waiting for a face" bit may refer to using the image of Ramses' face somehow.

Here are the 4 frames I referenced in my last post.  If you look at Frame 3, you can see the words 'There is' (I think) under the white noise.

Quick correction here. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't log on to whit3r4bbi7.com. It's because the actual password is [Games?_You_want_games?_I'll_give_you_games...]

I like puzzle game, though it is difficult.

Some progress made by those (frisco and micaman most notably, and others I'm not aware of) who are examining the files in the http://whit3r4bbi7.com/ video. They found some files that contain images that are noise. https://imgur.com/a/IYDpC

Assume these are overlays of noise, and there are probably many more layers to discover. (I'm curious about the layer containing all those vectors/triangles/pyramids that traverse the video.)

We know the OP is a fan of steganography from her prior ARG puzzle. There are tools out there, but I'm not sure which ones are useful.

Lots more to do to discover what's going on in this video. There are some .png files that need to be looked at. And I'm surmising that the audio portion contains some secrets as well.

In the headlong rush to decipher the  video, it's worth taking the time to appreciate how artistic and multifaceted it is. There's so much that went into this, not the least of which are the poetry and the visual beauty. Astounding. So many layers, and I mean that in every way.

I'm giving an summary of what happened on irc:

The username/password to http://www.whit3r4bbi7.com/ is Kevin_Flynn Games?_You_want_games?_I'll_give_you_games... This password was found by mere_dust.

Behind the password prompt is an video, the video features abstract graphics and white noise in the background. There is also some text. User frisco82 created an pastebin with the contents here: http://pastebin.com/Mu3db8rd

Finally, user itod found out that if you access the whit3r4bbi7 site on any page other than the home page (such as http://www.whit3r4bbi7.com/foobar) you get to see the hash f8bf41177a5f5e808a7ccb648b51080b031f15ca8018d91a576263d6cc626eb6. This (seemingly sha256) hash is featured on multiple virus scan sites (google it). edit: frisco82 also found this hash a few hours before itod.


New clues: a new poem, an image of ramses II, an SHA256 hash, an overuse of ROT encryption.

I'm worried about sniping, just not at this point in the game. I'd expect it takes at least one more week before the first private key is in sight.

I was disappointed by the sniping that happened last time around. I spoke with Coin_Artist about it afterwards and she said that she had some ideas to make it easier to share the prize as it went along. That might include interim rewards.

That said, I think everybody is holding back more this time around because they're worried about sniping. I know that I feel a little more paranoid about it. I wouldn't be surprised if it's why some people from last time aren't playing.

I agree with the idea of sharing. I'm an idealistic collectivist who buys into that whole "it takes a village" deal. That was part of why I posted who actually accomplished solves last time around. The final winner of the last game did have a few solves, but several other people did as well. This is my list right this moment:

We've also had a lot of consistent helpful inputs from frisco and Darkstone2, and probably others that I can't think of off the top of my head.

I feel like we're missing something obvious. If we reign it back in to the major clues along the way, we've got the poem, tron and the _ hint. So I'm trying to use usernames/passwords that combine the three. That said, I've tried a lot of "obvious" things like the crypto keys, and they're not working.

Ok this one is pretty obvious but I have not think about it until now.
The first message has two series of numbers the encoded in the X and the 347 final part, maybe that's the user and password and we just need to properly decode both.
