The real gambling addicts are those who never take care of their family despite how much failure they encounter, they still continue to gamble while neglecting their family , that is really crazy and the height of addiction. Those class of people need serious support from their families because they can't help themselves anymore. Some additions go as far as taking up loan on behalf of their wives without her knowledge just because their fingers are biting them to gamble yet at the end nothing positive will come of it leaving the family in debt. When this loan is consistently done then it sets the family into financial mess .

On my point it is not sometimes but most of the time, gambling addicted individual are selfish becuase they are just caring with what they want and they will push to continue even they already wasting money when they are in sessions, I think people who have this kind of situation needs to continue being close to their love ones, the pressure that those people provide will help to realize that there's already a problem that needed to address.

Just need to make sure that the person that have that kind of issue is willing to submit his situation and have that self-will to work with anyone who's giving aid to help.

Yeah, you're correct mate, pressure from family members can help an addicted gambler to quite gambling but, it will take some time and enough effort for om the family members, at first the gambler might even show less concern about their advice and pressure but I believe with the time he'll realize himself. Though there are still some gamblers out there that family pressure, love nor advise from family members could change their decision about gambling. Besides, gambling addiction doesn't literally mean a gambler who is prone to loses, a gambling addict can even make huge wins that has been his reason for becoming a gamble addict.

Family factors may be able to help gambling addicts to stop temporarily if their financial condition is unstable or insufficient, but it depends on the attitude of the gambling addict himself. Sometimes there are also selfish gamblers who only think about themselves and only want to carry out their gambling activities so that they can do more. setting aside money for gambling rather than thinking about their family, there are rarely addicts who can really stop even though their financial condition is unstable and there are even those who are desperate to take out loans just to continue their activities this is for chronic addicts. But for ordinary addicts it's normal and they can still do it advised that they can stop due to various factors and one of them may be to meet the needs of the family.

Therapy is not the right move for such a man as he'd have too many problems with the therapist, I think the right decision is taking him to prison like the law agencies did. His problem may have been unattended due to his age, and most people respect elderly men and are nonchalant about their actions. Bad news or events like this should teach us not to neglect any actions exhibited by a gambler, be it a grandfather or dad. Frankly speaking, the family may have noticed shady behaviors from the man. He may have been demanding too much from his children and after complying for a long time, they stopped, which is great, but the mistake I noticed with the man's children is that they didn't take action in healing their father's gambling addiction. Then, his level of addiction kept on growing to the extent of being mentally ill, as an old man it'll be easier for him not to control his decisions anymore.

No matter the circumstances, what he did was very wrong, and went too far, hurting his granddaughter to extort money from his family; and children. Isn't it stealing himself to fuel his urge for gambling? The more reason why gamblers must endeavor to stay careful and maintain responsible gambling is that the actions of some addicted gamblers are becoming scary and uncalled for in society. Which is causing the hatred people have for gamblers and gambling as a niche. Would this family ever have a good perspective about any gambler they've met or will meet in their lifetime? Their grandfather's ill-treatment of them will birth a family rule that'll make any member of that family avoid gambling. Think of thousands of other families who would develop the same family rule, hence reducing the rate at which responsible gamblers will be respected in society. A woman from such a family will never feel comfortable staying married with a gambler, responsible or not.

That's right, because the family is the one who best understands what one of its members feels, and they can still accept us even if we are in a bad state, but to stop gambling addiction in my opinion it is in themselves, I mean before going to other people, of course, they themselves must first have the intention of really wanting to leave the gambling addiction, I myself am not sure that they can stop gambling without the intention in themselves even if their family pressures them to stop gambling but if they don't have the intention to stop gambling at all, it will also be difficult it seems.

In my opinion, someone who wants to stop gambling or get rid of their addiction can do it on their own even without the support of others, I think they can do it as long as they have serious intentions and also strong determination so that they are not easily tempted by gambling again.

The scary thing is that pretty much any human on earth would do those evil actions given certain circumstances.

The games in the Casino usually make the people very often start to like it a lot, it can be the adrenaline that comes from doing things in our bodies, sometimes you can lose Control , but the bad thing is when you lose control of money, and you bet a lot , if you bet a lot it is obvious that you will lose a lot of money, and that is what a Person sometimes does not see when they get too involved in the game, it is what we all have to be careful about, because losing A lot of money in the casino is the difficult part, because how Else are you going to recover it , some choose to bet more to see if they recover it, but what they do is lose.

The madness of an Addict has no Limits , they can do many things to have money, tell lies, they don't care about getting into debt, they only care about covering the need to play, it is something difficult, and that is what should be avoided, because We don't know how people can react to this Kind of thing.

Yeah, sometimes I forget my problem and anything when play gamble especially if I win. But this grandma just turned into evil in my opinion because of their addiction. I bet he doing this because he wins a lot before this and he just spin again and lost all of it and he just don't accept that loss

Yeah, because if you resort from this venue and you lose your control sooner or later you'll drained your savings and you can extend the problem to seek for loans, there are many gamblers who failed that control and create big problem not only for themselves but it includes everyone that sorround them.

It's always best to keep the connection with your love ones to have someone to keep reminding you with your action, I agree that it's annoying but if that's the only way to bring you out from that situation, it's better than nothing.

Pressure from the family might help gambling addicts to quit gambling. The family is indeed very appropriate to help a gambling addict gradually get out of the fun that drains their family's finances.
is a bad choice when we have financial problems in the family but still gamble. instead of wanting to make money from gambling, I don't like people who consider gambling as a place to earn income. unless you are a casino platform developer.

I have seen several cases of gamblers who ended up reducing their activities or even temporarily stopping gambling because of their financial problems. but the important role of the family is indeed the main driver for gamblers to change. situations may vary.

The gambling people who was married will get additional pressure from their family reflated financial problems.So how he play the peaceful game in the gambling site with the financial problems from their family,the gamblers may not have the money for the future gambling.Because of the financial problems in their families,if the gamblers had the children he need to allot some money for the children education expenses.As we know the education fee for the children was high for now,So the gamblers should spend the money from his salary for their education too.The term fee for two or more children in his family will leads to the gambler to spend fifty percentage of his income.Then how he have dollars to play the gambling game,this may leads to complete exit from the game.

Of course the velocities of being an addition is going out of controls to your emotions.
So, once you are addicted to gambling, it is assumed that gambling is your priority to be life and doesn't only play and bets to have fun nor interests of profits but at all context's of satisfying your gambling urges which would only make you feel your activities completely even without benefits.

When gambling addicts have to go this far to sponsor or further fund their gambling activity, its time they hare handed over to the law so that they will be subjected to certain level of correction that will cause them to desist from such act before further applying therapy because if this is handled with therapy alone they may not succeed as much.

It's really terrible how people will have to go this far to making sure they get to be able to fund their gambling habit and keep hoping to win. Somehow these people do have what looks like good intentions of what to do if they actually turn out Lucky to win buy then they really go about it so wrongly that it becomes a problem to the family and themselves aswell so when it gets to this point they definitely need help and any attempt to resist the help, it's important it should be forced on them.

Anybody can gamble whether married or unmarried, all that matters and is most important is to have the right mindset towards gambling.
You say gambling is best done when someone is unmarried, because at this stage of their life, they can spend a large portion of money on any activities they choose or like? What about their future then is the question, and besides, have you forgotten that countless times, we have seen young vibrant men who are unmarried commit suicide due to the amount of money they lost to gambling?

Like I said before, gambling is safe for anyone, whether you are married or not, what is important is having the right mindset, a married man who practice responsible gambling will likely never run into issues with himself or family due to his gambling activities, same also applies to the unmarried as well.

To me it is remarkable that he divorced his wife only for gambling and abandoned his wife along with one of his daughters only because he gave more priority to gambling. A best time to gamble is when you are unmarried and can spend a large portion of your money on any activity. Gambling losers always have bad ideas so they may even kill people for money. But as long as you have good mental energy then you can maintain your attitude.

When it comes to self control and discipline then we do really know or its true that we do have that different level when it comes into that thing on which we do able to see someone who do
able to get out and able to control themselves and there are ones who do really end up miserable just because they had failed on doing such thing. Things turns out to be a mess
just because they have done something which isnt something to be done, well learnings or lessons would really be that definitely be just always in the end of the line.
There are really just those people who cant really be able to think up well until they would really be able to experience those unfortunate things.

Future society must distinguish recreational gambling from addiction. Education and proactive help are crucial. We should encourage early addiction detection and stigma-free treatment. Should we prioritize mental health and addiction care like physical health?

Family influence must be considered. The family is traumatized and distrustful by this incident. How do we protect fragile children like this from addiction's effects? Our society must address these concerns quickly, comprehensively, and compassionately.

Well, the actual truth is that no one knows.

An out of control gambler risking all of their fortune at their last chance might hit the jackpot, whereas a dedicated professional gambler might simply lose all their money slowly over years.

Luck works like that, you never know how it will happen.

If that an easy task to do when you are already attach to gambling maybe there are few gambling addicted individual, but the sad reality takeover the mindset of each gamber who failed to control their emotions, instead of doing that kind of assessment, they already being polluted and only gambling is what they want.

It's true that we do have different perspectives and opinions, and for me, I will agree that after assessing the outcome you should decide with the rigth decision to make.
