Perhaps there's a language barrier here and I'm not understanding you guys, are you saying the changes are due an effect created by the/a "mind" or that the changes didn't happen and people are just confused?

The idea I'm getting here is that physical hardware like the CERN LHC is being used in conjunction with a technique known as quantum tunneling to cause a change of state in the Universal Wave Function. However this is just conjecture and the changes to the UWF could be the result of things like psychological research (the mind) done at the Montauk AFB base but even in that case they used modified radar equipment i.e. hardware in their experiments.

I am sorry, but I have to agree that this could be reality.  We do not know for sure how our mind works and there may be links from one world to the next.  Our minds are powerful tools and this could be a reality.

I disagree with this theory.  The mind is a powerful thing and can create different realities for us when we are looking to escape what we are currently in.  Think of a lie you tell yourself. Now tell that lie to 1,000 different people.  When it comes to light in 5 years, you will remember it as a lie.  Do not make the lie simple, make it complex, such as how you met someone.  You will be surprised with the results.

1. No theory has been posted here specifically defining the "Mandela Effect" for you to disagree with. My posts are at least just informational on the changes that have occurred for the most part.

2. How do you explain that "life is like a box of chocolates" is printed on the back cover of all the Forrest Gump DVD boxes that reference that quote?

2(b). The odds of them misquoting their own arguably most famous of movie quotes ever, over and over and over again are so astronomically high you'll have a better chance of mining a block of bitcoins by doing the SHA hash by hand with a pencil and paper. The guy working at the studio who creates the PDF for these DVD boxes isn't getting paid a $100k+ a year to fuck up the most famous movie quote over and over again during the span of two decades worth of DVD box releases.

The Lord's Prayer

Original:
Quote
Matthew 6:9-13

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father who art in Heaven hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

13 Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

Isaiah 11:6

Original text:
"The lion shall lie down with the lamb"

Modified text:
"The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb"

An excellent piece of "residue" from /u/quantumfx311 on Reddit for Isaiah 11:6; P.T. Barnum had one act with a Lion, a Lamb and a few other cats for show. Here's the quote:

Quote
...
P.T. Barnum, the famous circus showman, loved to show visiting preachers his exhibit called "Happy Family", in which lions, tigers and panthers squatted around a lamb without any aggression. When Barnum was asked by the visiting preachers if the group ever had any trouble, he would say, "Apart from replenishing the lamb now and then, they get along very well together."

For me the 1st change, JIFFY to JIF occurred in the late 1980's.

The 2nd change was more of a personal change but it's happened to others; a spray hose miraculously appeared on the kitchen sink one day in the early 1990's.

The rest of the changes, probably about 50 or so now that I've seen all either occurred or were brought to my attention starting in 2015.

So what does all this mean?

We can put to rest an idea about the nature of reality. The idea of a multiverse, the fact there's "residue" left after a change show's there's only one universe that's being modified.

If we borrow from Quantum Mechanics we've got the idea of a Universal Wave Function; essentially it's the current state of everything. This function is continuously evolving and changing as time passes.

The idea of a UWF leads to a "many worlds" interpretation of reality but this is misleading. These "many worlds" remain as coherent waveforms and never collapse into particles so are never "real".

In QM we have the effect of "tunneling" this I suspect is what is causing the Mandela Effect. Tunneling is being used to cause a change of state in the UWF.

I can't say the CREN LHC is capable of this trick, but they keep popping up in my researches... None of these changes fits Gods MO IMO.

Oxy Clean is now Oxi Clean.

Residue:

Competing "rip-off" brands

There's another fact in regards to OXI CLEAN that I learned when I found out the "Y" had changed to "I", their spokesman Billy Mays was found dead and it looks suspicious too.

"Depends" adult diapers are now "Depend".

It was always "Depends"...it may not seem like much but these incidents are becoming more and more frequent. WTF is going on?!!! I just did a search and even the Wikipedia page has no reference to "Depends" save for this:

In Blink 182's Cheshire Cat album, one of the songs is titled "Depends".

There was one pic of the Depends we remember, found it here from 3 years ago:

"Depends" adult diapers are now "Depend".

News Media: Mr. President, do you wear boxers or briefs?
Ronald Reagan: Depends.

NM: Mr. President, is your name pronounced Regan or Ragan?
RR: Ragan.
NM: Nice lookin' dog you have there. What breed is it?
RR: It's a bagel.

It's known as residue, when things like jokes don't carry over the new spelling. Since Depends now never existed neither did that Regan joke. Do you see? Since the new joke doesn't exist there's nothing to overwrite the old joke and the old spelling.

Yesterday, I was taken aback when read that the first Star Trek movie came out in 1979. I would've shown it was until the very early 80's when it came out.

Upon reading https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek:_The_Motion_Picture, now I'm totally confused. Here's to hopin' I never forget the time and place when I first learned to masturbate: Daytime; cornfield.

It's been a while since I've watched that but I'm also fairly sure that it was originally released in the 80's. I might watch it again and see what's changed.

I was married and living in Indiana in '79 and didn't go see movies. In the early 80's I lived in Kane county, IL, and that's went I remember seeing the ST movie. In fact, Star Trek movies were the only (mostly, extremely few others) movies I went to see in a theater upon first release, ending the practice with First Contact not yet seeing any subsequent releases with the exception of YouTube clips.
