what the project / coin shows is that people dont know what to do with tokens. and it shows me that most of the ETH tokens are just created  to get some money.

i dont have a concrete idea or a use case for MVT. as soon as i think i got something worth to share i let you know.

Yeah I think once Greepoint opens there will be a lot more progress and I am really looking forward to that. The team is working hard and I really like the updates from the past that are really deteailed.

I'm back once again and it's a pleasure to be around, as always. How are you doin? Greetings to those who are left from the old school members, and hi to all!

Sometimes I get a little dazed and confused by some of the questions asked, but hey hey no issues. Are you an adventurer, ready to sail the seas of decentralization, social experimentation and innovation? Or are you chained to the centralized systems, and/or stuck up in centralized thinking?

Everyone who's asking about news. Perhaps you don't fully understand The Movement yet.  We are the news. If you want somebody to take your hands and decide for you, there are plenty of coins to choose from. Here it's about using your hands, together with others. Just look at the ones who are active, they got it! The Movement is a collective creative work and not one individual's or small group's project. It's novel. That's why it's hard to understand for many.

However, once Greenpoint comes up it will be easier to see and understand. Very excited for it to come, because this will fire up the engines. The district LANDs are about to be distributed by Decentraland

The new era of decentralization is unfolding, and we are here taking part. Let's build, I'm hungry and foolish Wink

Cheers

What do you think about this project? still running ,don't see much progress yet, hope to see in the future nice progress about it

It's a good team, it's all about slow and steady growth and HODL.   Check this one out, that is one of the most expensive coins.  Read some of the text on their page and see how it can apply to MVT:

The future is almost here.
I see good advantage that this ico is decentralized but I didn't find a creative and distinctive features.

it wasnt ico, it was airdrop, there was about 800 people who got tokens based on their rank, activity and some other factors which i already dont really remember.

Yep, no ICO.  Here's the info if your interested loaddebitcard.

Turns out at the moment Decentraland doesn't have a functionality to rent land or to assign it to somebody for a period of time. They have just a system to change ownership.

They say however they may implement a rent system later on.

thats nice that The Movement has been added to the Cheddur app. also as i remember there is a project named Lunyr, its kind of decentralized version of wikipedia, so who use it, you could add information about MVT there too  Wink

I'm looking for a breakdown of the LAND staked to Greenpoint by members of the community.  Previously there was a simplified version at auction.decentraland.org but it doesn't seem to be working for me. I'm trying to get a decent understanding of how many individuals staked LAND so we can start an informed conversation regarding LAND in Greenpoint and how it will be used for development and rental. If this information doesn't exist, I will create a registry for members of The Movement to register their contribution using Google Forms.

Once we have this information, I was hoping a someone here could create a visual representation of the data. Sort of a tool the community could use for planning and discussion. Whether that would be using the Aframe interface or something else.

Also, there has been some fascinating conversations happening here. Keep it up. Every step we take brings us all closer to Greenpoint.

Yes this would be indeed usefull, im trying to have a look at the smart contract to manage the land and see what is coming up: https://github.com/decentraland/land

There is in any case a land manger

https://blog.decentraland.org/view-and-transfer-land-with-the-land-manager-d37ff5cd1d0f

and even a test net to play with it. Still trying to figure out how to use this or if there is any start up guide.

From my experience releasing my own tokens, I know there are many shills on BTCTalk that are paid to keep tokens at the top of the page.  So, don't feel like every post you make here has to be some kind of sacred technical oath.  For instance, I was going to post that I invested in a little Decentralland (MANA) because of it's connection to MVT.  I was about to say nah, but then, this is a perfectly legit type of post to get others to strengthen that connection.

If one member is for something here, no reason why others shouldn't be also if it's good.

Cool. Cheddur is a nice app for crypto newcomers. Every Mover should add a review!

Bitcoin is not a currency or asset. Its a MOVEMENT
We just added The Movement to the Cheddur app (https://www.cheddur.com)! This will allow new users to learn about The Movement and join the community. Cheddur allows you to link wallets, exchanges, and other services that support MVT so that new users can easily get started. You can also review the project and post your MVT addresses on your profile to receive tips/payments/donations in MVT from other users Smiley

Can others from the community please review the profile for quality and help add supported services? The more active the The Movement profile is (via user reviews and addresses), the higher it ranks in search results and the more likely newcomers are to discover The Movement project!

Well, Thank you for adding MVT, we have really great community here to engage with your app as well.
This will also help MVT to spread the word out, i would encourage community members to retweet their announcement.

Dropper is not that active, as of the moment, his last activity was last feb 9. I think he is letting others make his own decision as what I understand in his behavior. Do it first then he will check it out later, I guess.

But what about the bounty MVT ... is it worth to be continued in the next week or not? We need a clarification of the bounty manager or team MVT

The dev works in silence. We as a community should be the one to make the initiative to work for the success of the project. Next.Exchange Voting is the proof of community works and we should never stop from there. there are alot of exchange available that we can list using the donation funds.
