Right from inception, bitcoin has been the best and most relevant and popular coin however it doesn't then mean alternative coins are useless or not relevant. Investing in alternative coins can fetch you profit as well.. I always advice proper research be done,to avoid loss.. Saying that altcoins are boring is not correct.....
Although these altcoin may not worth as much as bitcoin or even be as potential as it is but I do not agree with your suggestion of calling them bitchcoin because they are alternatives for bitcoin because they are cheaper and even appreciates more than bitcoin in terms of percentage but before you invest in anyone for you to make profit, I will suggest you take your time to do a very good research of the coin and be sure it is a potential one before you invest in it.
altcoin is an alternative to bitcoin, which means other and new coins that are not bitcoin. then it is appropriate to call an alternative coin or altcoin.
If Bitcoin's the man of the cryptoworld then all other currencies are his bitches. So why don't we call them bitchcoins instead of alt coins

Other coins are not bitches please. They are also very much important as Bitcoin. I never thought so. It is more appropriate to say a friend of mine.
Bitcoin is the coin that I do payments with. I only use Ethereum mainly for coins and their sales.

To all the people who are whining about how this is not a serious topic. Yes, It's not a serious topic. Most of the discussion's here are either spam or very serious hence wanted to put up something funny. No offence against any cryptocurrency.

Well anyway, that's how they used to be called and they are not really called that way before because some of them has good development and use. But the time has come where people looked at it as a way of making money through ICOs and generation of coins so that destroyed the quiet market of altcoin. Well like I said in my previous comment here. I don't think that all coins being released nowadays are that shitty, being used as a means of investment without any intrinsict value in it. There are some out there with real projects. It will be so bad for them to get their reputation dragged down because of these things

The name alt isnt also boring because alt or alternative means a second choice aside from bitcoin . sometimes we need to use altcoins because alts can do what bitcoin cant posibly do .

Lol. What do you even mean by the name altcoin is boring. Well if you really think it is, then you can decide to give it another name, and see to it that the industry adopts it. I don't think this is an issue of priority though. There are much more important issues that bothers the people of this industry now, and not some name that they choose to call some group of coins.

I don't think it's good, altcoin is a good and good name with so many altcoins making the cryptocurrency world great because many people are interested and believe in the crypto world has good potential in the future
a strange argument I think. bitcoin is indeed becoming the best crypto and this has undergone many upgrades and might even be more than that. but altcoin no less well actually just his appearance late enough so that bitcoin is already too high to be defeated. However, the current development of altcoin was kind enough to follow and even better than bitcoin.
