It could also be so unfair to demoralize all altcoins because of some coins who are not legit or not gaining enough profit. We are all up to bitcoin because it has bigger exchange but we can also earn from some altcoins even if it is not as high valued as bitcoin.It is just a matter of strategy and hardwork.
For me, we can call those coins altcoin because all other coins in the crypto world is based on the characteristic of bitcoin so, we call others coins altcoins because for me the meaning of alt is duplication of somethings like bitcoin or the image of bitcoin.
We can not suppress altcoin. Because bitcoin has a lot of influence in cryptoos. If the expertise of the analysis increases, we will find the opportunity to altcoins.
because altcoins or alternative cryptocurrencies weren't initially created to be shitcoins. at some point in the past the greed became dominant in the market enough to push them towards being shitcoins. otherwise if you look at the early coins in 2010ish you can see the coins were actually trying to do something instead of just being hot air.
I don't think that all altcoins above 2010 are garbage because 1% of 99% altcoins are useful for the public, maybe you haven't realized that altcoin makes blockchain technology grow.
We cannot demote alternate coins. because bitcoin influence it. it is the best thing to do. if anyone keep both and develop research skill than they will find summer in altcoins.

you can not condiser them like this. these coin plays an important role in the crypto currency. these coin works as supportive character in the market and we need them.

There's some truth to that. Many of the coins depend on the behavior of bitcoin and its moods.No altcoin is independent and where bitcoin will tell-Tudu and the market will move.
