I don't take loans, ask for sig if I ever do.

It's nothing weird, it's usually just the dopamine talking to you. It's really nothing bad imo, just don't fall into it too much to the point where you try to deposit more money to play more. Just set an amount you'd be fine losing for the day and play! That's usually how I do stuff. I wouldn't deny that withdrawing would be really great if you want to stop but as I've said, dopamine can get into your brain pretty deep in sometimes. Usually I just let it play within the initial limit I set so it's satisfied since abruptly stopping can be pretty hard.

If you really want to spend your winnings somewhere else than casinos, then learn to limit yourself. Nothing much more we can do about that. You can maybe set a timer intervals via an extension that blocks you from the casino after x minutes/hours, but that's not really limiting you from spending your winnings, it's limiting you spending time to gamble in general.

Whenever I win, I usually feel this strong urge to gamble more and also increase the amount I'm using to gamble. I do fall for this urge most times and the result is always disastrous as I end up losing the money I won with great pain and regrets. The only time I can say I have won is when I make withdrawals and possibly use the money for something else. As long as the money is still in the platform, there is a high chance of using it to gamble more. I decided to create this topic to see how other people manage their winning in gambling. If I notice a better approach, I will switch immediately as I don't want to continue experiencing the pain of winning and later losing the money again.

The correct statement is that winning is when we make a withdrawal, because it's true that as long as our balance is on the platform or what we call a bankroll, it makes it easier for us to go to other gambling. Not only you, even I and the majority of other gamblers have also experienced the same thing.

So, how do I solve this problem? I usually make my own management for my gambling, for example I allocate $ 100 for gambling, and I will not withdraw the bankroll. When I get enough winnings, I will withdraw it and keep my initial bankroll on the platform. And when it goes to 3x - 5x of my bankroll, I will withdraw the entire thing including my bankroll.

That’s true, the only way to win is to get out of casinos together with your profit and comeback later once you already consumed your profit. We know the risk of being greedy and if you continuously gamble without securing your profit, there’s a big chance for you not to get it anymore as you are forced emotionally to gamble more and hope for another profit which for me is very risky and not guaranteed.

What you said is right OP cause many gamblers would be tempted to stake more to try their luck and they could end up losing even what they had won in the first place making it a bad habit, so yeah it's a good strategy to withdraw your winning first and leave only what you intend to use to gamble again, that way you stand a better chance of controlling yourself.

Generally I have a margin that I accept to be at a loss, if it exceeds that I will leave and only return to play the next day or in the next round, in the case of sports betting... you need to manage your bets, otherwise the only way to go is financial ruin

To my own perspective, I would say that winning is not only when you cashes out your winning, it could be on the sequence of winning and the casino is taking it back.

Although that is strictly on the concept of when you are gambling for fun while the profit chasers are the ones who only accounts winning on their cashing out and giving account to what they utilizes the money on.

You picked the mistake most players forget to see. Whether you withdraw or not, it's same. The difference only points at the fact that players who take out some funds spend on other utilities. But, it's as good as spending your money it's not about the wins from casinos. Because, the same amount would still be deposited back to the house. Which shows that a player will continue to lose back to the house regardless of how they handle their winning. It all boils down to the fun part of gambling, that gamblers should embrace instead of bothering about how they will benefit from their gambling wins. Profiting from it only could be winning a jackpot and holding a long break. While we still gamble, nothing would be benefited financially.

Withdrawal are important after winning as if you don't withdraw then you haven't won fully. After I gamble and I win, I always withdraw my profits. I might keep the capital that I used in funding the casino account to make it very easy when I want to gamble again but I always withdraw my profit as I had left it on my gambling account before and ended up making use of all of it to gamble which I lost therefore I don't make the mistake of leaving my capital on any gambling platform again.

If you're feeling the urge to always gamble you might be getting addicted to gambling without you knowing therefore you have to be cautious. Being cautious will help you to be monitoring the things you are doing and those things that need to be done to prevent an addiction from happening to you as it will result in very bad things. If having money in your gambling account makes you gamble more than you would have to then don't keep money there anymore.
On the moment that you cant be able to withdraw then this isnt considered to be a real winner but rather you are still considered as a loser specially you have lost those amounts all in all on the moment that you have decided on playing gambling further more. Pretty sure that most of us who do gamble did really experience out such condition or situation which even up to now on where you would really be that able to encounter such decisions. On the moment that you do find yourself that struggling on making up some right decisions on the moment that you are winning then better quit up for good and would be stopping on doing gambling.
Its true that when it comes to consider out on whose the real winner, then those who are able to make withdrawals on the time that they do make out some huge win.

As been said by others that there are ones who would intentionally losing all the money that he had on that particular time just because  those wins are really just that making the session more longer
on which if he do find out that he's enjoying the game without any mix of greed then he could always decide on going further.

If you have money on a gambling site, you should just want to to have fun with it. That is just it. If you win, you can withdraw because you can lose it back if you continue to gamble. But most likely that the amount of money that you deposited into your gambling account can be lost. I gamble with just little amount of money. If I gain, I withdraw for that week and use it to have more fun like to drink beer and eat meat and food when hanging out with family or friends during the weekend.

I laughed so hard when I came through your post actually like when you talked about withdrawing and using the money for enjoyment with your loved ones so it is your choice because hanging out with friends and family is just part of the fun we do talk about so if someone gambles and is lucky to have some winnings it's also good to have some fun but for me I will rather use the money I withdrew for more important things than larvish the winning all in the name of having more fun.
Winning and making withdrawals without gambling again is very difficult for most gamblers especially the addicts because they will feel like it will give them more money if they gamble more but at the end they often lose all so it is better to make withdrawals after a winning even if you will play again let it be after you must have withdrawn the amount you won first.

As a gambler, making the right decisions at the right time is very crucial and helps you manage your risk of losing too much on just one round. Normally you should be able to minimize your wins and after some certain number, you might have to cash out and return later, this way you will be able to refuk you ability to make good productions or place good gambling odds. It's a one thing to be tempted and continue played and it's another to win or lose. If you are either kind of person that will continue playing till his money is exhausted, I'll advice you deposit funds into your gambling account bit by bit and after every win, try to remove your winnings from your deposits account. Then until you end up losing the funds available, you don't get to deposit again.

Op it's a good thing you Summoned the courage to bring this issue here so it can be discussed and the possibility solution provided. However some persons have brought the suggestion of setting target and withdrawing your profit. Withdrawing your profit will help create a barrier between the gambling platform and your account, to some persons this might work while to some that the thought has eaten so deep into their heads they'll still make the deposit and gamble until everything is exhausted or until they hit a satisfactory figure. That could be very dangerous, in my opinion withdrawing the money from the gambling platform is not enough to help you escape this addiction, I believe you have to understand first that what you are actually doing is getting into addiction which is a very bad experience when you have fully given yourself to it, you should know how gambling addicts behaves, and if you don't want that, then make up your mind not to fall for those thoughts ever again, learn to be disciplined and your problem is solved.

You still respond to emotional stimuli because you are not strong emotionally. The urge to try to gamble more and win more money from what you have won without considering withdrawal is very close to greed because it shows that even if you keep winning, you will not still be satisfied.
Winning does not always happen in gambling, so whenever you will try to make sure that you enjoy the money or the only case where you are allowed to leave the money on the gambling platform is if the money you have won is an amount of money that you can do without or an amount of money that you do not need.

You're not alone because most of the gamblers who aren't sure about gambling responsibility fall for that urge and end up losing the won amount plus their own account balance that they have deposited.

Only gambling responsibility can safe someone from those urges and having control over one's emotions during gambling is a great skill one can develop.

Next time when you win, stop gambling for that day and wait for a few days before doing any more bets because that way you won't fall in pressure of greed and instead of losing everything you can earn something.

Op I agree with you, the money that is in the gambling platform is not yours untill you withdraw it and use it to buy something else the money will use for another attractive games again and if your luck is not good that time again then you will lose all. So the best thing is to withdraw the wins and if your want to continue gambling then you remain the amount you want to use and withdraw the rest. So you will know that you won something.

This will happen to every gambler in my opinion, the feeling of wanting to win more and play higher as if thinking about getting a much bigger win, thus the occurrence of a demonic temptation that makes you lose your winnings, it happens because of having greed and feeling dissatisfied with what is won.

I agree that winning is when you have withdrawn your money to your personal wallet, if the money you are looking for in gambling is certainly like that logically, but for people who like to have fun with gambling, getting a win once even if the money is used again to do other gambling and lose or not to withdraw, for him it is still a win.

The urge to gamble more especially after acquiring sone wins is a normal thing for a great majority of gamblers. Many gamblers end up over staking based on the fact that they either put too much belief in getting a win from the particular bet and sometimes it can end up going against their will or wish rather. I really don't know if it should be classified as some level of natural greed, but however the better a gambler is able to manage such urge, the lesser he would likely lose from over staking.
Gambling should be carried out with some level of personal discipline , this is because unhealthy gambling practices can get to master such person unknowningly probably even drifting them into addiction.

Why not withdraw some of it and leave some for the games you play? I can see you are not into sports though which you probably rely on playing casino games. It's a downer when you get excited to win more thinking you can win more as your luck is still on your side. And then lost it all so suddenly.

Well, luck usually dries up as well when you increase the amount you bet. You'd be happier if you just withdraw more than your capital and then cross your fingers when you try betting again.
It should leave a little to play again but most gamblers start to get greedy when they win usually they increase the bet in the hope of winning high again, so don't be too convincing to win again especially in casino games the money will run out quickly when losing is just a matter of regret.

If I do a habit like this, suppose I have won some money in gambling it should be withdrawn immediately and leave a little to play again, I just want to play it safe in the sense that the money will not lose all of it, because if it is played again it is certain to lose again.

How many examples do we see cases like this not us or myself feel it, where after the victory then played again which in the end lost the entire victory was gone.

Another reason to withdraw your winnings is you are never sure which website will withhold your withdrawals when you try to pull out a large amount, as long as it remains on the site, you are being allowed to use it, which can change at anytime.

- Jay -
I second this: if you are a gambler and you are winning your games and leaving the money on the online gambling account, you will never know if the casino will allow you to withdraw your money or not, which is also the reason why one should withdraw as they go.

And another thing is, the more a gambler has a higher amount on his account, the more likely he might have a withdrawal issue, especially on small gambling platforms with low budgets, where large withdrawals always trigger extra investigation by them for the gambler just to delay or look for a reason to deny the withdrawal.

First, it is not recommended to keep your wins or large sums in your casino account. Casinos are not banks or wallets which is designed to hold money. It is risky to keep money on these gambling platforms because anything can happen. Second, as you mentioned it is easier to gamble uncontrollably if you leave your wins in your casino account. It could lead to loss chasing which can be very risky. For me, I follow my gambling budget strictly, and anytime I have a win, the funds are transferred to my wallet or bank account based on the gambling platform.

Winning to me is not withdrawal because I will not gamble more than I have budgeted. It is important to have a business mentality in gambling. You should know that you have lost money in times past, so when you win, make sure you maximize it no matter how small. I don't gamble with my wins rather I immediately use it to solve a basic need.
