Hell yeah but what you are saying is a wrong statement as there are so many new icos can reach the hardcap and the era of ico is not yet ended. Just because there was the latest generation of ico called IEO and it doesn't mean ico will die. If you wanna get an evidence and I can even provide a bunch of latest successful ico.

I am no longer interested in ICO because some time ago ICO only scamed investors who had an influence on the good name of cryptocurrency, when they became victims of cryptocurrency it would make them disappointed and make the name of the cryptocurrency platform created by ICO be not good again.

Actually, the ICO's are not totally dead or disappearing it was just slowing the process in the last 2 years because of many different reasons like fraud's and scams also the longest bearish market situation that forcing many investors to hold temporarily all of its crypto investing sorties, ICO's and IEO's can co-exist but it needs to be more transparent especially in terms of audit and security of funds.
That is the fact. ICO is used by fraudsters to make fake fundraising. So that the popularity of ICO decreases with the loss of investor confidence. Although there are other strategies such as token sales that are supported by top exchange, still provide a big risk factor. That is why until now IEO has become the best and safe choice for investors. Not that the ICO is dead, just that it requires great strength and support, such as a strong project, a large community, etc. to support the project's success. I personally like IEO rather than ICO. For now the trend on cryptocurrency is IEO. It way better for investor and bounty hunter. But, the succesful of the project it self it depends on strong fundamental. I think because of many scam project, ICO is untrustworthy.
Right now the trend is IEO, earlier everyone was behind the ICO market and there are many who made a quick buck and there are many who burned their investment and we will hear in the future that everyone complaining about how the IEO craze burned them. As an investor you need to be smart even though it is carried out by a popular exchange but you have to remember is these popularity changes with time. 
The question is what do they do with the money.? ICO ain't coming back that's for sure. Most project not performing well , money raised ain't used the right way. So anyone following events since 2017 will know there is huge gap for IEO to return.
Startups with different ideas will get the attention from investors but when it comes to cryptos 99% of them are just replicating the old ideas so we might reached the saturation pioint already and simply few cryptos are enough for the whole world but already have few hundreds of them.
Considering what we passed through in the hands of ICO I do not think their coming back will be of any use because I don't think anyone will invest or maybe a big number of people won't invest. Also, taking into consideration the fact that there have been no ICO till date I don't think any team will have that idea of doing one because they will likely fail; therefore it is just better to stick with IEO for now since it has proven to be safer for both investors and team, in addition the exchange also matters in every IEO.

Everybody has dreams in this market, so you don't need to blame him. But I also believe that ICOs will never return like 2017 after so many ICO scams and investors lost their money.

I really think it is highly unlikely for ICOs to become a thing again within the cryptocurrency space. The IEO model seems more effective in raising funds and people are moving more towards investing in security tokens over utility tokens as those provide hodlers with the benefit of profit sharing.

ICO has made a huge damage in the industry reaching billions of dollars and the investors cannot keep on investing on projects with uncertainty, it's game over for ICO and new projects should not prefer to do an ICO they should do an IEO or better get their coins in the market, if their coin has potential, investors will buy the coin.
Projects are raising money successfully using IEO, if you don't know well ICO was ruined because of many exit scam that happened two years ago, we still have good investors on big exchanges, I don't see any reason to keep hoping for ICO to make a come back.

The rampant project failure in the past mostly due to the investors are mostly an amateur that randomly throw money to any project out there,as a result a damaging hype that will eventually spell doom to the whole ICO market. still, if there's more and more project that are legit and beneficial I think the revival of ICO is not just a dream.
ICO time has passed. Investor confidence, which in 2017 was already lost forever. A large number of people were deceived in their expectations and it is deplorable. The only investment option could be IEO.
