We all know ICOs is a scam nowadays based on research scammers made alot of cash with fake ICOs. Either ICO or IEO no investors is ready to invest in any project... Scammers is everywhere , ICO cannot come back.
ICO is an old system, the new system is already using IEO, somehow in the future, whether IEO will change again or ICO will grow again I don't know yet, but it is likely that ICO will not be used anymore

ICO will never come back again and people will never trust ICO again, from all that has been passed. Many projects have used this system to make money. And IEO is the current system, but it must also be remembered that not all IEOs can also be trusted. All of that goes back to the exchange that did it and the project also had an effect on whether or not IEO was good.

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Not in any project's wildest dream. The days where crypto investors were easily deceived by whitepapers are no more. If any group of people feels they have something better to offer the crypto industry they should build it with their own money to a stage before seeking external help to bring it on a large scale.

No they won't and even if they do, it will only end in a more disastrous way for the team because hardly will anyone pay attention to them. The main reason most people still participate in public fundraising is that, it is done via exchanges and some even went as far as increasing their funds security through going for only those IEO on top exchanges, since there is less risk of any fraudulent activities. Talking about the community vetting any ICO, it will hardly see the light of the day because the same community have in one way or the other been affected by the ICO scams.

ICO will never be able to help you make a profit in the future because this type of investment is too old and will only make you spend more time to participate. I think any form of investment will soon be forgotten but need to change to suit the current market situation. This year, IEO is becoming very popular and trusted by many investors, so you will surely make a lot of profit.

Guys, do you think that ICOs could make a come back? I do and here is why. Every year dozens of companies raise money in Silicon Valley for startups, many pre revenue. Also, with the economy injured from nCov19, it would make sense to allow for new economies. This would include letting new startups in Blockchain raise money, and imo if they are well vetted, and trusted by the community, they should be allowed to raise money. What do you think?

It is difficult for a new project to do an ICO and get sales results like in 2017. I think the ICO has begun to fade and began to be replaced with IEO. New exchangers are constantly popping up and also doing IEO on projects and in my opinion the ICO trend has begun to sink
new exchanges that do IEO will not get investors. if there is a project like that then ignore it. New projects must focus on developing first with the launch of a prototype platform. if the market already knows if the project is going well, of course waiting for investors to come to provide development funds will be easy.
Agree with you, investors are only interested in reputable and liquid exchanges. If IEO were to perform on small and new exchanges, I believe they would fail like ICOs

It may or it may not, well, if we are going to talk about having ICO in bullrun, maybe it is possible as for sure, same thing will happen 3 years ago wherein ICO even not with working projects are able to raise funds with just a well-made whitepaper and for sure, new investors and players will come in who are seeking for quick profit, people learned a lot for the past years but of course, there are still people who are not well-informed and chances of getting scammed is so high with these ICOs

No,,, I do not think we can simply say everything in crypto has a fixed cycle. Bull and bear events are market events but ICOs were a thing of the past. They are still possible and will probably continue to be a model for fundraising, but they will never achieve the crazy fomo of 2017 anymore.

Look at STOs. They died so fast nobody gives a care anymore.

to raise the economy which has weakened again one of them in the blockchain sector, a little interesting considering the decline in interest in people to invest in the blockchain and hopefully this will get a good response.

Projects are raising money successfully using IEO, if you don't know well ICO was ruined because of many exit scam that happened two years ago, we still have good investors on big exchanges, I don't see any reason to keep hoping for ICO to make a come back.

But real talk, even there is an IEO it can be still use for the scammer as well. It is not a guaranteed that if there's an IEO automatic means safe project, of course not! ICO or IEO it always the same in one point like it can become a tools for scamming people or investors. Only their difference was on IEO has already exchange listed.

Yep, probably we will see tech companies, banks and governments, using their reputation to launch ICOs, it will be easier for them to gather all that money that some noname-developers. So yeah, I'm afraid that this will hit the crypto world even worst than before.

No because of SEC (look what happened to Telegram's TON token)
Did you see what happened with blockstack as the first ico that gets license to do the crowdsale with A+ grade? If you didn't see that and i suggest you to take a look at the news about blockstack and how it was able gaining the permission from SEC.

If I am not mistaken, they also paid millions of dollars in legal fees to do ICO with SEC permission

Not everyone can do that

Sure new projects will sprang up. The issue is it is going to be ICO or IEO. If a company is not well known people bother about its transparency in handling investors money.
Both were facing the same issues. There was no a lot of differences between ico and ieo. The only make it difference was the what exchange site that will launch the ieo.

IEO doesn't have transparence and it's the same as ico.

after the IEO trend why are you still talking about ICO? ICO has not gained the trust of investors because many ICOs have run off investors' money. ICO will never return after IEO there may be a trend again in the future to save investors

Very often, in order to raise the necessary money for an IEO, a company conducts an ICO first. One of these projects over the past year can be called Cartesi, whose bounty was held at this forum. This campaign first held an ICO and then an IEO on the Binance exchange. CTSI is currently trading x2 of the IEO price.
