I think you're writing Poirier off a little bit too soon. There are some fighters that haven't been the same after a knockout, but Poirier has been KO'ed in a past (by Johnson or McGregor) but managed to bounce back nicely. There's no reason to think it'll be much different after KO from Gaethje (who also got KO'ed and that didn't stop his way to the top).

Usually fighters will be a little different after a knockout and that happens a lot among fighters. Regarding Dustin, I can't say whether it will affect his performance in the future or not because Justin's knockout defeat yesterday was the most brutal knockout Dustin experienced. A fighter will remember that moment a little when he is in the same situation in the next fight.

It is less than 2 weeks until UFC 294, and it was revealed that Paulo Costa had elbow surgery 3 weeks ago. That is just so stupid, you are a co-main event fighter and hide such things from your boss. Is it greed? Saying this so late so no one would replace you? Or the surgery was on a level of removing splinter ? Or this is a back-up plan (excuse) in case he looses or USADA find something besides "secret juice" in him?

Is it already announced who he will make next millionaire or make current even more rich? There are possible options - first, like said before, it is gonna be either Chandler, or another fight against Poirier (sort of a unfinished business). Second - he needs someone who he will definitely beat and make a loud return to UFC. In other words, he needs a win, someone who he will knockout.

It's got to be Chandler. As a rule, the TUF coaches are matched up against each other. Chandler must've gotten some promise from the UFC that he'll get that fight as he's not pursuing any other fights but just patiently waiting for McGregor. And Chandler's fighting style suits McGregor, he's more likely to win against Chandler than anyone else from the top of lightweight.

Now that Justin Gaethje has knockout Dustin Poirier I think Gaethjhe has already exposed Poirier (...)

Is that Bobby Green  Grin? The man completely exceeded my expectations. A knockout in 33 seconds against a much younger fighter is something great. He could be used as McGregor's opponent if Dana White wants The Notorius to make a winning debut. Sorry I'm not underestimating Bobby but these are options I can think of. Bobby's victory could earn him an opponent in the top 10. And McGregor's debut, who else should he fight if he has to win to add a lot of money to Dana's pockets?

^  Ah yeah...  Pereira was scheduled to fight another guy but he pulled out so he's going to face Petroski on short notice.  Thanks for pointing it out.  Will edit the roster later.

As for 294 at the front page, they need to sell PPV's because Makhachev isn't really that popular among fans and he kinda has a boring personality.  Pretty good fighter tho.

And for this weekend's event, not a very good one but there are potentially good match ups in there.  Looking forward to watching the prospects Saaiman vs Rodriguez and the guys who want to break into the top 10 Martinez vs Yanez.  Next fight for the winner will be a tough one.

For sure many are looking forward to that Juicy Juicy Stacked card for the UFC 294: Makhachev vs. Oliveira 2 and for sure after this event right now it is the most waited event for the UFC in my opinion, right I feel like the event today is not that important for many MMA fans and like it is really a great card this year so many are excited about it,

Now that Justin Gaethje has knockout Dustin Poirier I think Gaethjhe has already exposed Poirier, to that point, and for sure Michael Chandler surely got a chance to prove that he can also defeat Poirier, but I really never know if Chandler can get other fights than Conor McGregor 1st fight that they have done for sure but let's just wait if this will happen,

Great fighters don't need bullshit, I like silent characters in the world of fighting except entertainment wrestling maybe they will play promos to attract the audience, Islam Makhachev is not a replica of Khabib so don't compare the two too much, they still have their own characters, but they are the greatest fighters and fighters undefeated, anyone has to admit their greatness, they ruined the opponent's undefeated record and any fighter who wants to increase the number of wins then don't oppose and accept the fight from Islam Makhachev.

I also like Islam Makhachev the way he was he doesn't really need hype for sure, and just like Khabib Nurmagomedov Makhachev is straight to the point he can rise to fame just because of his ability to fight and his strength with his wrestling but for sure he was shocked on how Alexander Volkanovski handle his wrestling for sure this is a new experience for him,

Pavlo might have a bigger chance with Jones than Aspinall. But the bookers know it's still Jones, both may have a KO punch, and the striking can only matter if they could hit Jones by surprise just like Green hitting Dawson.

Many see Sergei Pavlovich as a pure striker, but apparently, he has some solid background in wrestling and sambo. I'd still think Aspinall would have more chances of defeating Jones, as he's a better all-round fighter with a solid ground game. He was born into the sport as his father is/was a BJJ instructor. Tom has won many bjj tournaments in the past but was also training wrestling and boxing as a kid. And most of all, he's hungry and super-determined right now.

Other news: Mateusz Gamrot has been confirmed as the backup fighter for UFC 294, Islam Vs Charles. I called it first!

McGregor fighting in April once he gets all the drugs out of his system. Finally. Will be interesting to see how this fight goes. I’m expecting it to not be a typical fight. It’s been so long, it is either going to go really well or really bad for Conor.
This will definitely be a very exciting fight, and it is very possible that the fight between Conor vs Chandler will take place later than April 2024 because as reported by the USADA test it will be 6 months from now

I hope Conor's leg injury really heals completely, it would be really bad if he lost against Chandler because his leg injury recurred

For sure Islam Makhachev is not really a likable guy like Khabib Nurmagomedov, I really think it is because he doesn't talk that much and his English was bearly understandable, but just like you have said he is a great fighter for sure,

I like silent fighters as well and just let their fists and legs do the talking inside the octagon. But people indeed have different personalities. Khabib has his own ways, he has a decent knowledge of English and he talks with confidence. I remember Anderson Silva has done the same although he did try to become a villain for obvious marketing purposes. Something likable could be interpreted as marketable. It is sad but it is the reality. Silent fighters and those who have difficulty speaking English usually do not have a huge market unless they are paired against popular fighters with huge fanbases.

That is a long wait for Michael Chandler for sure he really wants this fight so badly and he needs to wait for it, for me  If I were Michael Chandler I would fight someone in the UFC just for the money fight the UFC have promised him something and he will get a lousy Conor McGregor,

At UFC 300 he has a card that will take place with Micheal chandler.
Maybe this will be the first time for McGregor after several years he decided to stop fighting after suffering quite embarrassing injury suffered in the fight against Dustin Poirier.

Now he really looks very fit and strong with very good physical changes I sure he will be able to last longer in the Las Vegas arena in April 2024.

But unfortunately this fight had a slight setback and many people even other UFC fighters thought it was waste of time when they had to wait for McGregor and could only do it next April because previously there were several rumors circulating that their fight would be held in 2023 but it turned out there was postponement and It can only be officially announced in April 2024.

The event is so much filler between events, that UFC.com decided to put Makhachev vs Olivera 2 already on a front page Cheesy
But, if we check ufc.com, we would see a Michel Pereira vs. Andre Petroski fight in middleweights (not in your list). This fight is in sherdog list also. Besides main event and Michel Pereira fight, I dont see anything that I would watch. Just old Barboza and Pereira with his jumps and capoeira show offs Cheesy

I really think that the UFC has decided to make another stacked event for us, maybe he is getting rid of the events that have less consumer engagement and letting it all out with the Main event together for sure this also lets UFC save so much in stacking the best fight in one full card well, in my opinion, this event right now I really don't know if I interested in it or not but all I see was Michel Pereira VS Andre Petroski fight for sure I want that as a main event fight that what we have right now,

^  Ah yeah...  Pereira was scheduled to fight another guy but he pulled out so he's going to face Petroski on short notice.  Thanks for pointing it out.  Will edit the roster later.

Yup! Barriault Withdrew from their fight without explaining why, if he got a health issue or something but that could be a potential banger but for sure this is also a great fight to get, I can not be choosy as for me there are no notable fight in this card,

I don't mean to offend Miocic, he is one of the best heavyweights in the UFC. But the era is over. Defeat via knockout by Francis will not make Miocic the same person. The Jon Jones vs Miocic fight would only be interesting if it was held some 6-9 years ago when Miocic still ruled this class. A Mocic vs Jones fight will only add to Jones' UFC win record as I am almost 90% sure Jones will win.

Stipe Miocic is past his prime so this is just it for me this is surely his last fight inside the Octagon in my opinion but for sure he accepted this fight for the money that is just it and nothing more, for me I really want to see a different fight for Jon Jones and not Stipe Miocic, for sure the guy is at his house just relaxing, but Jon Jones Suddenly announce that he wants to fight Stipe Miocic and so Dana White can not say no about this,

Pavlo might have a bigger chance with Jones than Aspinall. But the bookers know it's still Jones, both may have a KO punch, and the striking can only matter if they could hit Jones by surprise just like Green hitting Dawson.

You couldn't tell whether Green's punch does have a weight but it KOed Dawson which started the hammer fists. Not a very expected fight plan for Daawson, he is more of a grappler so it's disappointing not seeing him tried to takedown when there is aa chance.

Did you mean Sergei Pavlovich, Man that will be a great fight for sure the power of Sergei Pavlovich is surely a match, and sure even Tom Aspinal will have a hard time against him, and Sergei Pavlovich against Tai Tuivasa sure Tuivasa is no match against his power it was a KO/TKO win for Sergei Pavlovich, and against Curtis Blaydes Pavlovich surely defeat him aswell with KO/TKO the power with his striking and for sure there is technicality in it that other fighters can not ignore for me I think even Ciryl Gane will also have a hardtime with him

^  It was a jab that caught Dawson and Bobby Green doesn't even hit that hard.  So not really sure what went on out there.  And I'm pretty sure Dawson got hit harder than that in the past.  It's prolly just one of those things, you know?

Anyway here are the results...

Lightweight:  Bobby Green def Grant Dawson KO (punches)
Middleweight:  Joe Pyfer def Abdul Razak Alhassan Technical Submission (arm-triangle choke)
Welterweight:  Joaquin Buckley def Alex Morono Decision (unanimous) (30–27, 30–27, 30–26)
Lightweight:  Drew Dober def Ricky Glenn TKO (punches)
Featherweight:  Bill Algeo def Alexander Hernandez Decision (unanimous) (30–27, 30–27, 30–27)
Women's Strawweight:  Karolina Kowalkiewicz def Diana Belbita Decision (unanimous) (30–27, 30–27, 30–27)
Flyweight:  Nate Maness def Mateus Mendonca TKO (punches)
Women's Strawweight:  Vanessa Demopoulos def Kanako Murata Decision (unanimous) (29–28, 29–28, 29–28)
Bantamweight:  Aori Qileng def Johnny Muñoz Jr. Decision (unanimous) (29–28, 29–28, 29–28)
Women's Flyweight:  JJ Aldrich def Montana De La Rosa Decision (unanimous) (30–27, 30–27, 30–27)

It's not just that nasty KO from Francis (although it surely had some serious impact). Stipe is now 41 years old, his will be fighting after over a 2.5-year break. It's pretty obvious that he would've retired already and only agreed to fight Jon Jones for the money. I'm guessing it could be the biggest payout in his career. I doubt he actually believes he can win it or has any strong ambitions of getting the belt back.
I have nothing but respect for the guy and probably will be rooting for him to win, but we all know that Aspinall (or even Pavlovich) would be a greater challenge for Jon Jones.

Because this is Jon Jones this is likely a high payment for him, I really think he is thankful for Jon Jones because he surely offers a fight for an old fighter like him for sure 41 years Stipe Miocic is really a letdown, but it is what Jon Jones wants but we really aren't asking for it for sure for me Stipe Miocic is not gonna do much against Jon Jones in my opinion, but for sure I really wish we got to see a great next match after this and for Jon Jones to not retired so soon, maybe Tom Aspinal or maybe Sergei Pavlovich is a great fight for Jon Jones,

The results of my bet and prediction for the UFC Fight Night: Dawson vs. Green

Grant Dawson VS Bobby Green ROUND 1 KO/TKO - LOST

It looks like Grant Dawson isn't himself going into the fight he is weird going against Bobby Green for sure and I was really shocked that 1 punch is what Bobby Green needed to finish off Grant Dawson, At the beginning of the fight Bobby Green immediately went on the middle of the cage and Dawson just backing up from him showing he is dominant and from that, the punch that Bobby Green brings out Grant Dawson didn't see it and it was really a deadly punch if you can see the punch Grant Dawson didn't even go for a takedown and tried the waters it was a clear win for Bobby Green,

Alex Morono VS Joaquin Buckley ROUND 3 DECISION - WIN

Joaquin Buckley already showed his power to Alex Morono from the standing he showed that he was the dominant one with the standings you can clearly see from his movement and he even goes with the takedown while Alex Morono is really Hesitant but surely Morono even went into an armbar but failed and even with a guillotine and also failed you can clearly see the level of defense Joaquin Buckley inside the ring so for sure he clearly won the fight for sure, Alex Morono is constantly backing from Buckley every time Buckley is moving forward,

Karolina Kowalkiewicz VS Diana Belbita ROUND 3 DECISION - WIN

For me, it was a close match so Kudos to these two fighters but Karolina Kowalkiewicz has gotten the upper hand in this fight from the standings even though it looks close Karolina Kowalkiewicz did manage a clean shot against Belbita for sure the judges have called this fight right and manage to score it for Karolina Kowalkiewicz,

A Mocic vs Jones fight will only add to Jones' UFC win record as I am almost 90% sure Jones will win.

For sure you don't really offend Miocic with that because it is reality that you are saying Stipe Miocic is really past his prime and not only that for sure too old to return and if not for Jon Jones's request to fight Stipe Miocic then the UFC will not allow this for sure as this for sure will not cater a huge PPV, so yeah this is just a walk in the Park for Jon Jones for sure,

The result for my pick and prediction for the UFC Fight Night: Dawson vs. Green

Grant Dawson (1.20) VS Bobby Green (4.60) - LOST

For sure many were surprised with the result and this was an upset for Grant Dawson with just 1 left punch the fight was all over for sure just like what you have said it was really unusual for Dawson to do such things saluting Bobby Green and getting the best out from this fight it was for sure Bobby Green is the one that is putting a lot of pressure against Dawson, Green was constantly moving forward while Grant Dawson was moving backward, and yes Dawson didn't see that upcoming straight left punch from Bobby Green,

Joe Pyfer (1.27) VS Abdul Razak Alhassan (3.85) - WIN

WOW! Just WOW! Joe Pyfer at the beginning of round 1 just shot a takedown out of nowhere just like what Khamzat Chimaev did with Kevin Holland but Abdul Razak Alhassan is ready with his takedown defense even though Pyfer's pressure with his standing is just supreme Alhassan is backing up from it, for sure he got a hard time with Pyfer for sure, but because of Pyfer's long reach he can surely control Alhassan grappling for sure it is Joe Pyfer's win when he get that Submission on Alhassan, that power that Pyfer showcase when he hoist Alhassan and then getting him in the ground for a Tringle Choke what power,

Alex Morono (2.47) VS Joaquin Buckley (1.55) - WIN

For this fight, Joaquin Buckley is surely Dominating the fight from start to finish, his stand-up is superb against Alex Morono because Morono was backed by the pressure that Joaquin Buckley was emitting sure he could not takedown Buckley for sure and he knows that but surely Joaquin Buckley is there and getting ready at Morono even though the fight was a decision win for Buckley it was really evident who really won the fight,
