Funny how Molly was stopped by such a weak opponent. That is her real skill. She jumped into Paddy the baddy hype train, but has nothing special to show after all.

Molly is an average at best, she got some recognition by gluing herself to Paddy Pimblett and had one impressive knock-out but she was never exceptional. Marketing wise, she's doing pretty well. She's not even in the top 15 but is hyped-up better than most of the top 10 in her weight category, so her and her team must be doing something right.

Who do you guys got?  Poirier or Gaethje?

Poirier. 100%. He did not disappoint in the fight against Chandler, while Gaethje had a hard time against Fiziev and I think his will is not as strong as it was.

Tom Aspinalls speed is something to be watched out. Indeed he moves fast for a heavyweight. He has finished Tybura faster than I have expected. I thought he would start slow due to injury, to test his knee in first round and increase tempo. Instead he has nice with that elbow to enter close range, throw a straight right that connected and it was all done for Tybura. That ground tko was just niances.

I also though that Aspinall will be wary about his injury but he goes there and showing that speed means he is totally recovered, I was really happy about the result and seeing him sprawl in that fast pace movement I was like I was watching Ciryl Gane in that kind of manner, but with Tom Aspinall I really think that the ground is covered with his takedown defense and he also have ground game like he has shown against Alexander Volkov surely he got that elite vibe in him and surely I have my new favorite in this division, but for me he is not ready against Jon Jones but I want to see him against Jon Jones I think that showcasing his skill against Marcin Tybura it really lack that essence for me if he can fight against Jon Jones,

Tom Aspinall fought quite dominating and he managed to knock Tybura down.
Tom Aspinall threw an Elbow and continued with two punches until Tybura had to fall backwards until he was followed by several punches and the referee decided to stop the match because Tybura had been declared a TKO loser.
This is Tom Aspinall's umpteenth battle with a stunning win.

From some of the previous feedback I see many members here get wins from staking Tom Aspinall.

For me you can not go wrong with Tom Aspinall even though he got into an injury you just have faith in his previous performance, although his performance now shows his speed that it was not like any other Heavyweight just like what I have seen on Ciryl Gane, it is really refreshing to see that in him, that is why you can not really go wrong in making a bet for Tom Aspinall, and it was an amazing showcase of what he can do,

Even i was expecting the fight to go over 1.5 rounds considering he is coming back from a knee injury but he is express quick in finishing off the fights like he always does and the post fight call out of Ciryl Gane and then his plans on fighting Jon Jones was interesting. We might be seeing the Ciryl Gane fight but i would like to see him fight against Curtis Blaydes and his road to Jon Jones is much longer as there are other fighters waiting in line.

Yes just like you I also want to see him have a rematch against Curtis Blaydes, and to test if his knee's going to break again, (just joking) but there is a lack of showcase with their skills and this is to test his speed against Curtis Blaydes, then a Ciryl Gane to a title match would be a good run for Tom Aspinall for sure,

Pretty much it is a good thing that we have witnessed a great event even though it is only a UFC Fight Night now here are the result of my picks for UFC Fight Night: Aspinall vs. Tybura

Tom Aspinall VS Marcin Tybura ROUND 1 KO/TKO - WIN

Tom Aspinall was doing great and I was really surprised by his movement he moves like a Light Heavyweight that is for sure and has given a hardtime against Marcin Tybura that is surely 1 amazing performance from Aspinall returning from an injury the speed and precision were really there when he fights Marcin Tybura, that striking output was really massive against Tybura, for sure Tom Aspinal is ready maybe a rematch against Curtis Blaydes, or taking on Sergei Pavlovich that will be a great fight to watch,

Nathaniel Wood VS Andre Fili ROUND 3 DECISION - WIN

Now this fight for me Nathaniel Wood is so fast his punch has some speed that Andre Fili can not anticipate however there is an error in his game that Andre Fili has capitalized and I think that surely has put some regret in him for not making the fight a KO win for him, but surely Andre Fili is one tough fighter to crack for sure and Nathaniel Wood is really expecting a knockout win but instead it becomes a Decision win, for Nathaniel Wood,

Lerone Murphy VS Josh Culibao ROUND 3 DECISION - LOST

Just like I have said Joshua Culibao will be having a hard time against Lerone "The Miracle" Murphy the undefeated stayed undefeated for sure, actually after this fight now I really think that Lerone Murphy is a real deal but I would like to see his against a grappler or Wrestler for sure while I lost because this bet is support for a fellow Filipino I already have said that Lerone Murphy has the upper hand but still I really want to not only support Culibao in this fight but to maybe Josh Culibao can surely be surprising at some of his fights,

Ha-ha tokeweed was right when he said Stoliarenko could pull an arm bar. At first it looked that it is going to be easy fight for McCann, but that fight ended quickly after Stoliarenko performed her special move. That is her 10 out of 11 finishes with arm bar. Funny how Molly was stopped by such a weak opponent. That is her real skill. She jumped into Paddy the baddy hype train, but has nothing special to show after all.

That was a nasty finish and looks like she knows how to finish her opponent from the start. it was too easy for her to win that match maybe in the women's division there are only a few women MMA that are strong enough to compete against each other for the second time. Mostly they have done the job when they face each other in the first fight and it will be cleared for the fans at once. Just like this fight and surely it will be best for McCann not to face Stoliarenko again before she improved her skills and power.

I've just caught up on the highlights of the fights, looked like a decent night especially for some of the underdogs. I know Molly is a fan favourite so I imagine a lot of fans tripped up on that one, and it likely destroyed quite a few accumulators. I've missed the fight nights the last few weeks I've been on vacation. So, looking forward to next event, which looks like a proper good night on paper. Hopefully, it delivers. Tricky night to bet though.

Obviously Costa has not cancelled the fight with Aliskerov himself, it must have been UFC's decision. There's no way they'd make him fight twice in a span of less than 3 months. And yes, it would be extremely hard to hype up his fight against Chimaev if he were to lose to Aliskerov, especially when both of them represent similar styles/backgrounds. So it was either Aliskerov or Chimaev, not both.

Well, that is why I likely said that maybe the UFC is behind this because instead of a Paulo Costa VS Ikram Aliskerov fight they will be going into Costa VS Chimaev instead, well I really think that fight will cater much more money than Aliskerov, and if Costa lost to Ikram Aliskerov I really think the hype on Paulo Costa will surely get derailed,

Here are the result for the UFC Fight Night: Aspinall vs. Tybura

Tom Aspinall (1.21) VS Marcin Tybura (4.50) - WIN

73 seconds is all Tom Aspinall needed to TKO Marcin Tybura well actually it was a display of speed Tom Aspinall is not moving like a Heavyweight at all he surely moves like Cyril Gane but with a ground game Surely Marcin Tybura was really slow, but what I have seen there is only Tom Aspinall and his amazing movement and hand speed for me he is younger and more talented I surely think that he can do it, this is a truly one-sided fight well what comes next to Tom Aspinall for me if he fights Sergei Pavlovich he shouldn't raise his head so much because that could surely catch by Sergei Pavlovich

Molly McCann (1.47) VS Julija Stoliarenko (2.70) - WIN

Another fast finish and I think Molly McCann will not think twice before fighting a good submission fighter, so much for the Meatball but she can not underestimate Julija Stoliarenko, and because of the reach advantage Molly McCann got a hard time getting her opening so Julija Stoliarenko went for the takedown and wrong move from McCann because she went into a mount then switched into the armbar, that was one excellent submission transition from Julija Stoliarenko,

Nathaniel Wood (1.46) VS Andre Fili (2.75) - WIN

Pretty looking at the fight even though it ended in a decision win for Nathaniel Wood watching the fight you can surely see the speed and precision of Wood's strikes and punches so he surely won the fight with a technical strike for sure Andre Fili should focus on the takedowns more but Nathaniel Wood got 1 takedown attempts while Fili has nothing and maybe because he knows what Wood can do so he didn't give in to the submission attempts,

I feel like I haven’t heard much about Khamzat Chimaev lately. I expected he’d be getting some big fights by now but it seems like maybe they’re saving him for something? Maybe we’ll see him and Conor McGregor fight for the belt at some point? Conor McGregor is also rumored to be fighting in December, so I’m looking forward to seeing how his first fight back plays out.
Too much Coke makes someone very confident but at the same time damages the brain. Conor has no chance to become a welterweight champion, just no chance. He has the weight to fight in welterweight but this weight mostly comes from fat instead of muscle. That is not really a problem, Tyson Fury is a great example of that but what I want to say is that Conor isn't strong enough for welterweight division. He is old, short and had a huge gaps in his career, spent a very significant amount of time in fun and parties. He can't beat Khamzat, his fight against Khamzat will be a signed suicide. I think he just gets attention and isn't truly capable to fight in WW. I can't imagine how is he gonna win against Khamzat or Gilbert.
Oh man, he had such a good career and ruined everything after fight with Floyd.

Tybura vs Gane I think is a very good match. Huge guys bouncing like boxers in the cage would be awesome. If Tom however keeps his hands down every time he attempts to take a shot, Gane will take that opportunity. Tom seems to be in perfect condition as we see. Hands are faster too. Congrats to the winners.

I don't think that's a likely match-up. Tybura just got run over by Aspinall, so I don't think he'll be rewarded with fighting someone from the top 3.
But setting up Aspinall Vs Gane would make much more sense, and I think Gane would have his ass kicked if that happened.
Alternatively we might see Aspinall Vs. Pavlovich (currently ranked No. 1 contender) and whoever wins gets the title shot, assuming winner of Jones/Miocic doesn't retire after that fight.

Marc Diakiese - Joel Álvarez

Marc Diakiese was born in the Congo, but has English nationality, aged 30 and with a 10-year professional career, having participated in 22 fights and managed to win 6 fights by knockout, 9 by decision and 1 fight by submission. Joel Álvarez is a fighter who was born in Gijón, Spain, he is 30 years old and has 10 years of professional career, he had 22 fights of which he won in 19 fights, having managed to obtain 16 victories by submission, 3 by knockout. It's a very unpredictable fight, but I'm rooting for Joel Álvarez to win this fight

Michael Parkin - Jamal Pogues

Michael Parkin, born in England, is 27 years old and has a very short career, something like 4 years as a professional athlete, and he has only had 6 fights in which he has won in all fights, it is very strange that he is 27 years old and has only 4 years of professional career and even in 4 years of professional career he has only had 6 fights, and he has the great particularity that he has won 5 fights by knockout and 1 by submission, on the other side we have Jamal Pogues who was born in Los Angeles, California, United States United. She is also 27 years old, but has been a professional fighter for 7 years and has already had 13 fights in which she won 10 fights and lost 3 fights in which 4 wins were by knockout, 5 wins were by decision and 1 by submission. my guess is Jamal Pogues will win the fight

Yup! That might be it, for sure Jack Della Maddalena isn't what we think he could be with Wrestler for sure, or maybe because of his weight cuts for 2 weeks that might affect his cardio, maybe he had a hard time with Bassil Hafez, but for sure a lot is thinking Jack Della Maddalena will surely struggle against Khamzat Chimaev for sure,
Jack Della Maddalena is actually a pretty good UFC fighter even in 17 fights he managed to have 15 wins with 11 TKOs.
This fighter based on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has succeeded in becoming a fighter who can give fans satisfaction when watching him fight and now he has managed to occupy 13th place in the Welterweight class.
But when it comes to fighting Khamzat Chimaev I still doubt that Jack Della Maddalena can win even though he has tried his best, because Khamzat Chimaev is quite a dangerous fighter and often creates wins with his fighting intelligence.

Surely I know what Jack Della Maddalena can do he is really a good fighter but you can not trust him when it comes to wrestling and just like what Islam Makhachev has said there is a level of wrestling that any fighters need to know and incorporate if they want to be well rounded and if Jack Della Maddalena is fighting those with the wrestling incorporated like Islam Makhachev then that fight is pretty much end with the dominance for Islam Makhachev for sure,

The wrestling defense of Holly Holm was on point but her submission defense was exposed by Miesha Tate when she defended her belt for the first time where Holly Holm was winning by a huge margin and then getting submitted and even in this fight against Mayra Bueno Silva, Holly Holm won the first round but a slight mistake and she lost the fight by submission.

That is a big thing for Holly Holms's return if she can incorporate a wrestling game or if she can incorporate a wrestling defense as her new style in her tools, but surely it was not taken to light what she can truly achieve, I really think she is just testing the waters on where she can manage in this division but for me, this is the problem for Holly Holm and she doesn't have time anymore even though if she manages to win against Bueno Silva father time can surely snatch that belt that she wanted

Bet and prediction for the upcoming UFC Fight Night: Aspinall vs. Tybura

Tom Aspinall VS Marcin Tybura

The stake odds for this fight are 1.20 for Aspinall and 4.50 for Tybura, for this fight what I see for this fight that could happen for me, is Tom Aspinall is surely well rounded, and comparing Tom Aspinall and Marcin Tybura I think I will make a comparison with their fights on Alexander Volkov, 1st Marcin Tybura lost to Volkov and he doesn't stand a chance on the ground even though he fights toe to toe with Volkov in the stand-up, while Tom Aspinall is really technical when it comes to Alexander Volkov, he surely dominates the stand-up and the ground game and he surely has the speed that Volkov can not keep up with so my pick is Tom Aspinall,

Nathaniel Wood VS Andre Fili

The stake odds for this fight are 1.46 for Wood and 2.75 for Fili, For this fight this is going to be an interesting one it could also be a close fight between the two, but Nathaniel Wood is younger and still has a lot to improve so for me he still got a long way up ahead of him while Andre Fili is more huge than Wood for sure he got the height and the reach but if Nathaniel Wood can keep the distance and as a small fighter he can surely have a close distance where he can have a lot of opening for Fili, so for this match for sure I would go with Nathaniel Fili,

Lerone Murphy VS Josh Culibao

The stake odds for this fight are 1.68 for Murphy and 2.20 for Culibao, for sure Lerone Murphy could be the new face of featherweight this is one champion material guy and Josh Culibao might be in trouble here, but yeah this is a sure risk that I am doing Lerone Murphy is a very technical fighter he doesn't win a submission yet but he got wrestling to get away from trouble while Culibao can get a win with submission for this fight Murphy also has some great offense with the other fighters takedowns, like getting his knee ready, but for this fight, Josh Culibao surely still has a chance in winning this and I am going with a bet on him just because he is a Fil-Aussie, a Half Filipino and Half Australian fighter, so yeah support them in their fight,

Here's the ceremonial weigh ins guys.  The last time to see how these guys look face to face before the event.  And it looks like Aspinall bounced around and looked fine after the knee surgery.  Let's see how it translates in the cage tho.  I'd be surprised if he finishes Tybura in under 1.5 rounds.  I think it's gonna be over.  Don't make a bet on it on that account tho...  Unless the books give you 3.50 for it.  Grin

In Paulo Costa's thing, I really can't say that he got good BJJ he may be bluffing about it but give the guy a chance to prove himself he has now canceled 2 fights which means Dana White will surely strike him on this, but he has said that he is really aiming for the Khamzat Chimaev fight, or maybe the UFC have realize that if he losses to Ikram Aliskerov people will then lose interest in seeing the bigger fight for Paulo Costa VS Khamzat Chimaev for sure,

It was announced yesterday that he'll be fighting Paulo Costa at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi in October, so yeah, they were saving him for something special. If he wins, he could even get a title shot for the middleweight belt against Adesanya (if he wins against Du Plessis). Or he could fight for the welterweight belt if he chooses to go back down.
McGregor is fighting Chandler next, it was rumoured to be in December, but probably won't happen until early 2024.

Yes. He’s going to fight Paulo Costa in the co-main event of UFC 294. I am expecting this to be a win for Khamzat Chimaev. But of course, this is going to be important for Chimaev. He surely has to take this fight seriously. Because by winning this fight, she might actually be able to get a title shot in the future as you said. But first of all, he will have to win this fight against Paulo Costa. This fight is obviously not going to be easy even though I think almost everyone agrees that this should be a win for him.

I am personally not interested in McGregor's fight anymore, to be honest. He just does not interest me when it comes to a good fight. He is well past his prime. Right now, whatever he tries to do in terms of marketing also feels like forced as well.
