Who's your guys most confident picks? I feel like this event is a rather slippery slope, and I don't really have a whole lot of confident picks. I might just run a double or treble at this rate, and hope for the best. I know next weeks event has a lot more enticing fights, I just won't be able to watch it unfortunately, so won't be betting on it.

here are the fights I bet on them:

Daniel Santos - Johnny Muñoz

Daniel Santos who is 28 years old and a Brazilian fighter, is coming for his third fight in the ufc, but he started his professional career in 2013 and he has already had 13 fights of which he had 11 wins and 2 losses, he won 6 by knockout, he's a muay thai and Brazilian jiu-jitsu fighter and he's very good at ground and pound and on the other side his opponent is Johnny Muñoz, a 30-year-old fighter who started his professional career in 2015, he's from Corona, California, United States. He already had 14 fights, winning 12 fights and only losing in 2 fights. he has won 7 fights by knockout, is an expert in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and also masters grappling well;

my guess: Daniel Santos will win this fight, there is an odd of @1.40 in case he wins this fight so I'll add him to my parlay

Abubakar Nurmagomedov - Elizeu dos Santos

Abubakar Nurmagomedov is a fighter who is 33 years old, born in Makhachkala, Dagestan, Russia. he has 12 years as a professional athlete, having already had 21 fights in which he won 17 and lost in only 3 fights and had 1 draw; he only had 6 wins by knockout, and he is very skilled in striker and grappler. on the other side we have Elizeu dos Santos who is 36 years old and started in 2009 as a professional athlete, he was born in Francisco Beltrão, Paraná, Brazil. already had 30 fights and won in 23 fights and lost in 7 fights. wins 14 fights by knockout, he knows Brazilian jiu-jitsu and capoeira.

my guess: Abubakar Nurmagomedov will win this fight, odds are @1.80 in case he wins this fight so I'll add him to my parlay

Kai Kara-France VS Amir Albazi

The stake odds for this fight are 1.93 for Kara-France and 1.88 for Albazi, in this fight Kara-France has done great against Cody Garbrandt and made an incredible win over and landed a one-two combination while his fight with Askar Askarov has proven that he got a great defense on the ground, or take down defense was great,  and he withstands the submission game of Askarov it was a decision win but Kara-France did great, while Amir Albazi got a great stand-up and is very good at the ground and there are many Submission that he can full against Kara-France I really think that Amir Albazi is just well rounded against Kai Kara-France, so my pick is Amir Albazi,

Alex Caceres VS Daniel Pineda

The stake odds for this fight are 1.54 for Caceres and 2.49 for Pineda, I really think that Alex Caceres is a cool dude, and for me, his fighting style really like, with a Kung-Fu theme in it, great kicks a thing that I like while I was really furthering my knowledge with MMA, but surely I didn't apply it that much, but yeah Caceres is one mean dude, while Daniel Pineda he got away so much after his fight with Cub Swanson he got injured and return to win against Tucker Lutz, but Alex Caceres is a beast that I think is very well rounded, and that kick length would pressure Pineda for sure, so my pick is Alex Caceres,

Jim Miller VS Jesse Butler

The stake odds for this fight are 1.39 for Miller and 3.00 for Butler, Jim Miller is a very versatile guy for sure he has good striking that can pressure his opponents, and you don't want to be on the ground with him because he can surely submit the likes of Charles Oliveira, while this is the UFC debut of Jesse Butler and his opponent is already a beast I really think this is going to be a dominance fight for Miller, for me, I think Jim Miller should get a title fight, he has been Through a lot of great fights in the UFC, so my pick is Jim Miller,

It's more like I find it harder to trust Mayes than Arlovski.  Mayes just isn't that good, with suspect cardio and with questionable fight IQ.

Anyway good luck to everybody's picks!  And it sucks that Jared Gordon had to pull out from the match vs Jim Miller. Bet voided...  Really had a strong hunch Miller finishes Gordon.  :/

If Andrei Arlovski could win this  again then he will likely never stop fighting and Don'Tale Mayes might be an easy fight but Andrei Arlovski will need to be more technical but that power from Arlovski that will be the end of Don'Tale Mayes for sure if he was hit by that big punches it will be his last but if Andrei Arlovski lost this one I think he needs to retire now, I don't really know if getting the belt will be a great burden for him but  maybe retiring with a great record,


Well I also give Amir Albazi an edge that he might win, but maybe it can become a close match aswell, but if Arlovski won this he definitely needs a shot nearing the title, I also think Abubakar Nurmagomedov will be great aswell in the ground, but let's just wait will be putting up my picks later,


I also think that Andrei Arlovski's fight will be interesting aswell, so I will be looking forward to seeing it aswell, I am pretty curious if his age build up into a more complicated status for him then he needs to stop fighting, but if he moves like Yoel Romero then fight on for him, because he deserves to win this,

This card is really hard to predict for me, but in main event I am blindly giving slight advantage to Amir Albazi 
I am checking odds and I dont understand why they are so low for Alex Caceres and Tim Elliott to win in their fights.
One of my best best for this round is on Abubakar Nurmagomedov to win against Elizeu Zaleski, he is not that good like Khabib and his other cousins but he is better than Zaleski.

Arlovski fight should be fun to watch, both of them are coming from loses so they need to put a stamp win this time.

Nearly missed that Arlovski is fighting again Guy is 44 and still in the clip. What will that guy get tired and retire once and for all I think he had enough fights in his life. Fought almost every top and famous heavyweight. If he wins that fight, he will on first place among UFC fighters with most wins in history, as well as higher number of wins among heavyweights. And isnt he the most aged UFC fighter right now ?

Love the Arlovski and the Jim Miller picks.  I'd add Frey, Nurmagomedov and Muin Gafurov in my list of underdogs that could win, tho they're really underdogs as the lines are close.

Strong feeling that Jim Miller could KO Gordon in this spot.  The head butt he got from Green was really bad and here he is just a couple of months after the incident.  Lol.  In another spot if Castaneda's cardio is suspect.  Gafurov could finish it in R3.

A theatre, that is what exactly I am looking for Frankly, for me McGregor is no longer a fighter, but rather a good showman. I am thrilled to see how he gonna piss Chandler off, make jokes of him and etc, but later regret that in octagon


I think that this fight most likely not gonna happen. First, Cannonier has only 1 victory over Strickland after a loss and no one is gonna give him a title fight. Probably Dricus du Plessis has chances to get a title fight, as he is on series of wins than any other middleweight current has now.

These are particularly awful picks. I'm going for a lot of the underdog, older fighters here. So, take that as you will.


We'll be too busy sitting on the beach with a few Pina Colada's. I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. I have had some decent wins though, but they definitely don't come around very often, and are often offset by the many losses. We all know that familiar feeling don't we.

Jared Cannonier is calling out for Israel Adesanya rematch, what do you think about it guys?

His brother is better fighter but I think both of them would win some fights in any MMA competitions, maybe not title fights but it would be entertaining to watch them both.
I dont MMA to became like a WWE theater acting and he needs to be seriously ready if he wants to transition from WWE to MMA.

Not really, this is one more acting theater but McGregor is famous for that so I am expecting some stages incidents, and Dana White will love that.  

If I have to judge his skills based on the training that he does I would say that his brother Jake Paul does better and much more consistent and disciplined training compared to Logan Paul. Of course, both of them are far better compared to some amateurs. Both of them also had professional fights in their life. So of course the cardio is good.

The thing is Logan Paul could not beat the opponents that he should have but on the other hand his brother is beating opponents that he really does not have any business beating. The only advantage which Logan Paul has is that he trains in wrestling. Now that is a reason why he might have a shot in MMA. But he does not stand any chance against a decent fighter, especially in the UFC.

Edit:  And the line is split 50 - 50 for KKF and Albazi.  I think KKF opened at around 2.35 at Stake or something...  A decent dog spot for the guys who jumped in early.

But remember video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SARjMdZfX7s) when he light sparred with Paulo Costa in wrestling. For a non pro fighter, he looked decent that time. Now take into consideration, that he has been training for boxing (which means he has good cardio), and add that he trains wrestling. I would say that his wrestling is good. Better than most of amateurs probably. Not NCAA and Olympic level of wrestling, but skills are higher than basic.

I honestly highly doubt that. Everything with Logan Paul is strictly business and entertainment. Remember when he fought Floyd Mayweather and when Mayweather was actually starting to hurt him he was saying to Floyd Mayweather in between the round to "Chill, it's just an exhibition".

So, I don't think he will actually get himself involved in anything serious. And it does not matter if he was wrestling in high school. If he didn't continue that means he forgot 90% of what he learned.

Anyone interested in The Ultimate Fighter: Team McGregor vs. Team Chandler ? First episode of that show was aired few days ago. There already was first fight and Conors fighters has lost in 9 seconds, which made Conor pissed It was strange to see that Conors team has no bjj/wrestling coach. Conor completely relies on striking, that is bad in modern MMA.

Also both team main coaches made predictions on their fight. Chandler said that he would finish Conor in second round, while Conor said he will end this fight with a head kick KO. Head kick KO, when Conor was always famous for left punch. Interesting, interesting.

Well, Yes I think Combat Sambo and Dagestan Wrestling are pretty much common and well-known in their country, and I think it is a better concept if he is not using wrestling in his game for now, I think he would likely use this when time has come, or this is his ace in his sleeve he was really hiding it,

Maybe he wants to compete in the middleweight but I think he is comfortable fighting in the Welterweight let's wait for further announcements I was really excited and really wants to learn more about him, and you can say that he definitely has power in his striking for sure,


I surely hope so, but for sure it will be a great fight even though I really don't like Jake Paul and I am not really a fan of Nate Diaz, I sure do hope that this event will be profitable for them both if this good smoothly I think Francis Ngannou will be eager to get that fight badly on whoever wants to fight him, well that is for most Boxer that has some Connection for him to fight,

I really think Logan Paul really belongs to the WWE and if you have seen his recent fight with Seth Freaking Rollin it was really hilarious I should say I feel like I was just watching a skit on Youtube, and don't forget KSI was on the Prime Drink Custume it was really hilarious I think I will watch this one, It brings back memories watching the WWE fights again, Paul might have lost to Rollin but it was 1 heck of a hilarious fight,

Logan Paul is a very decent wrestler. I'd probably welcome seeing him wrestle some of the MMA guys, maybe without the striking element, since that's really been his down fall. He doesn't look like someone who particularly enjoyed punching someone in his boxing matches. Although, he gave Floyd a fair go, I'll give him that.

Oh yeah, I think I've said before I do it for fun, and I always do stupidly long accumulators which never come in. I don't even consider myself to be half decent at it either. A lot of the time, whoever I go for, the opposite happens, at least it feels like that sometimes .

There couldn't be any other reason to prepare for it but to fight in MMA. Jake will find it compromising to fight in UFC while he is signed in PFL. I think once mentioned he'll work to promote PFL, he'll bring old UFC fighters to PFL to fight him. I think its easier for him that way. If he can take Nate, he'd be confident to also cherry pick UFC fighters.

I just saw a video of Logan Paul wrestling with Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski, and all I can say is that this guy is no joke.
Than I found out he was ranked very high in State Championships when he was in high school, and he was a part of wrestling team at Ohio University.
Maybe we are going to see Logan Paul fighting in UFC or some other MMA organization soon, not only in WWE theater.
