It's been proven for me too that Amanda Nunes is WGOAT. “She had escaped from the lioness in the last game, this time there was no chance of escaping,” Nunes said. Now what awaits she next, I'm sure she will have a nice holiday first. What happens next, Valentina and Nunes are still saying something to each other. I don't know if Valentina will do this fight by gaining 135 lbs. Her performance in her last fight was not very impressive for me even if Valentina won.

If we look at the lines of wins for Amanda Nunes that is some names in the UFC she already defeated, both the Woman Bantamweight and Featherweight she had to conquer, that is why you are right that she is the WGOAT, and pretty much she will be having a great time during the holidays, and right now there is no proven competition for her left if she can do down the division and get the women's Flyweight as well, and conquer 3 belts, why not,

^  Nunes is just better everywhere and she made it very clear that the loss was a fluke.  I'd bet my left nut that another match up with Nunes would be the same as what we just saw last weekend.  I mean what was everybody expecting?

And yeah, there's no other match up for Nunes but a rematch vs Shev.  But there was this girl Kayla Harrison who the UFC wanted to match up vs Nunes at 145.  Maybe we'll see that.

Amanda Nunes was really the GOAT in every Woman's division, if she can beat up Valentina Shevchenko why not get the Women's Flyweight belt, in gaining 3 belts in the UFC, I would surely love to see that,

Kayla Harrison was from PFL and is currently undefeated, in there, for me Harrison is a bulldozer and she doesn't have a great match in the PFL that is why she is sending a message to Dana White to come and take her as a part of the UFC and to see who's really the GOAT if Amanda Nunes or her, for me she will be quite a lot for Amanda Nunes, those power that she has shown on the PFL, is sure legit, but technically speaking Amanda Nunes has the smarts to pull something on her,

It's funny how some people thought Nunes was all nervous and all insecure before the event.  I never got that vibe from her.  She's cringe during press conferences but never nervous.  Her behavior was mostly just awkward and eager to sell the fight by saying some phony stuff in front of the journos and the fans.
She looked very nervous to me and I don't think she was that dominant in fight against Pena, but I know she had much better changed tactics and that made Pena confused.
If you watch the fight again you will see few armbars Pena had with Nunes arms that was only seconds away from winning again, but on standy Nunes was better this time.
With updated tactics I am sure Pena could win in third fight, but she needs to make big corrections and be ready for unexpected from Nunes, she is going to change her game again.
Julianna Pena is asking for trilogy fight so please sign me up, I want to see that, but it's possible to see superfight between Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko.

There was so much blood in main event and Nunes won with her changed tactics and changed stance, but I am sure we are going to see third fight between this two fighters.

Amanda won the fight convincingly it's not even a close one, he knock down Juliana several times and take him down many times too she is too dominant in this fight it's very one-sided I don't think this fight deserves a third one, Amanda is truly the GWOAT of UFC.

From other fights I was very surprised with the good performance and win of Sergei Pavlovich
The stoppage is questionable the ref should give Lewis more time, Lewis is like that he is a very tough fighter and had a history of coming back anyway a win is still a win it's just that some fans do not agree on that stoppage

They'd likely prefer to see an early stoppage than seeing someone get hurt. Derrick clearly fell face and if it wasn't stopped, Sergei will hammer him more in less than a second, the referee didn't wait for Sergei throwing several shots more. Derrick however just felt like he wasn't hurt.

If this fight happened 10 years ago, Derrick may have a chance to win. Somehow I feel like Derrick can recover quickly if it wasn't stopped though.

I remember Congo vs. Barry fight where Congo clearly is about to sleep but recovered quickly. This is one of the fights that sticks in my  memory. Big men recovers fast and unexpectedly knocks Barry. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMAwOwBB5OQ

I think Derrick Lewis has seen the replay videos and thinks if the referee would not stop the fight he will surely receive some heavy damage from Sergei Pavlovich that is for sure, I really think it was a clean win for Pavlovich, but it really was an early stoppage, and if many are not in favor for the result I think a rematch is pretty much needed, to clear the doubters,

So Moving on with the UFC 277 and we are back with the UFC Fight Night again, here is the next event for the UFC,

I dont think that there was an early stoppage in Lewis vs Pavlovich fight. Lewis already ate some good punches and gain damage. I think it was pure adrenaline that he recovered quick and looked like he could continue. But as the fight goes on, those head punches would remind Lewis brain suddenly and might even turn off his legs, which might cause even more damage.

I would like to see a trilogy because Juliana Pena is a formidable fighter, eating those power punches like nothing and the ability to recover from those hits, just wow.
If there is to be a third fight between Amanda and Pena, i feel Amanda is still going to beat her again, i like Pena, she is very strong, but the lioness Amanda is a beast inside that cage, yeah Pena beat her in the first fight, but that isn't going to happen again, Amanda is better and stronger.
They'd likely prefer to see an early stoppage than seeing someone get hurt.
I don't want to see a fighter get hurt too, but Derrick didn't seem to be too hurt, he took some punches and went down, but you could see how fast he came back up when the ref stopped the fight, when Derrick stood up he didn't look like someone who needed the ref's intervention, that stoppage was too early.

Santos is one of the most dangerous fighters. However, he is not ready physically and mentally. He hasn't been the same since her knee surgery. I hope Santos returns to his old ways, but it will take some time to get back to his old self. Smith was too slow in the fight compared to Santos, and Santos went to him like an iron bow. It's sad for fans that Smith lost back to back fights.

Derrick Lewis was really upset, and men I don't really like that kind of stoppage but I think the Referee's purpose is for Lewis to be safe, he just did that to keep Lewis away from much damage, because he was already facing down the canvas and Sergei Pavlovich is ready to initiate a devastating barrage of punches to Lewis and damage the guy even more, for me it was not a terrible Stoppage, it was an early stoppage but Dana White even said in an interview he will not debate that it was an early stoppage or not because it was really an early stoppage but Lewis was down and the referee is a great referee and Lewis will not be diminish by that kind of call,

Nunes is just better overall and she showed it.  Made Pena look like she drank her own kool aid.  Cheesy  Too bad it wasn't fight of the night.  FOTN went to Moreno vs KKF.

Well, it seems that all she said was really true all along, maybe I was wrong that she is an introvert, but we may never know until she opens it up, but aside from that Amanda Nunes after that loss was very silent but Julianna Peña made an interview with Joe Rogan if Nunes doesn't want a rematch She would look like the biggest coward on Earth and if she decides to not take the fight she may take the easier fight and retires into the sunset, but I think that Peña was the one who really likes that kind of idea and not Nunes, because this rematch proves all doubters that Amanda Nunes is Still the GOAT,

Brandon Moreno against Kai Kara-Frances was really the spectacle it was a brawl beyond compare, but not like the Jiri Prochazka VS Glover Teixeira, because that was on another level but going back on the Moreno VS Kara-France, I think it really reverse the fight of the night because you may never know who's going to win,

I agree with you the fight between Derrick Lewis vs Sergei Pavlovich is a terrible early stoppage from the ref.

I don't  think a trilogy between nunes and pena should happen  imediatly pena had her chance  and won the title when she caught nunes on a bad day and unfortunatly for her she didn't  prove that she deserves to be a champ on that second fight i think there are only two fighters right now who have the potential to beat nunes the first one is shevchenko and the second one is taila santos i hope shevchenko move up in weight and face nunes that would be epic.

What do you think guys, are we going to see Brandon Moreno fight Deiveson Figueiredo for the fourth time? Moreno once again has beaten the guy who was closest to a title fight. UFC must do something about it. Roster needs fresh blood. Frankly speaking I am sick and tired of all those trilogies and etc. Conor-Poirier, Figueiredo-Moreno, Volkanovski-Hollaway. How many more there will be ?

Their first match was really a fluke and Amanda Nunes really said that she was sick and was struck with Covid was really true, the fight might be a decision but man it was a total dominance for Amanda Nunes, pretty much Amanda Nunes really liked what she has accomplices and pretty happy that the belt was back on her, from striking and takedowns it was accurate and Julianna Peña can not do a thing to Nunes, surely it was a great match for Amanda Nunes getting back her belt,
Amanda Nunes fought really well this time and the only doubt i had in this fight was she changed her team and started her own gym and i was not sure about her preparations and her wrestling was on point in this fight as she was able to take down Julianna Peña at will and was able to control her. But the highlight was the toughness of Julianna Peña, she was knocked down 5 times and still she kept coming back which shows how strong and tough she is when Amanda Nunes was able to stop Holly Holm and Cris Cyborg and many other with her power punches.

I think it was the right decision in following her heart and look at the result, I think because by that making her own GYM she can prepare for her fight personally, or maybe Amanda Nunes is an introvert so she wants peace and quiet and wants a personal space for herself, and after losing the belt it really devastates her, and right now she is making a move by getting her own belt, and as an Introvert, they tend to want to be alone in their personal space more often, and they tend to recharge when there are no people around them and alone, but it is my speculation that Amanda Nunes is an introvert but getting her own GYM really improves her a lot,

Nunes is very forgiving, she could really whack Pena down while she had the chance but let her get up still. She doesn't wanna risk again and gas out. All the bets I made except Moreno that  I got right.

Derrick complains about an early stoppage. But it does look like he fell face first which enough reason for the referee stopped the fight. He couldn't Sergei, he is just as fast like a lightweight.

This time she did it on her own, Amanda Nunes really did it with a safer approach on Julianna Peña that is why it was a decision win, but man Amanda Nunes didn't gas out, and we can now say that their 1st match was a fluke, and Amanda Nunes should not gas out on the first place, but Because of she was sick that night and has covid-19 that she end up blew her cardio away,

Pena on the other hand, was optimistic throughout the fight and kept getting back up which is a commendable trait every fighter should possess. She was lucky that Nunez didn't want inflict more damage and wasn't all over her as she was to her, else she could have sustained more injury than just the cuts on her head.
What i heard is that Julianna Peña will be undergoing surgery to reconstruct her damaged forehead, Nunes was able to reserve her energy rather than gassing out and whenever she wanted time, she took her down and controlled the ground game but Julianna Peña had her in multiple submission attempts but was not able to complete them. One of the best Woman's fight this year.

I thought it was an early stoppage, Derrick Lewis was under heavy fire and he went to the ground and not face planted and definitely not unconscious because he stood up the next second and there were fights where he used to come back from behind and win fights, so the referee should have waited more rather than calling off the fight .

Not sure about Pavlovich, but Ankalaev has a great series of wins. If not mistaken 9 in a row. I believe his next fight must be a title fight, maximum in one fight he will have a title fight. Maybe ufc will throw Blachowicz, but I think Ankalaev will choke him, like Trexeira did. But, I remeber Jiri was talking about a rematch with Texeira, so Jan vs Magomed fight probably would be next.
