It appears that we have 2 sexy fighting kittens for this event hehehe. Miesha "Cupcake" Tate and Michelle "Karate Hottie" Waterson.

Karate Hottie appears to be very underestimated for this fight. She is more experienced in the octagon and she also has improved her wrestling skills to control those opponents that are bigger than her. Amanda Lemos is strong, however, she is also not very good.

There other sexy fighting kitten might not be a kitten. She is a sexy fighting leopard hehehe. I do not mind to my money in her. She is also a former champion who should never be underestimated.

I'm leaning towards Ortega for this fight. However, I think it could easily go the other way. I just like Ortega as a well rounded fighter. Sometimes, not the best at defending himself though. I will be putting a short odd accumulator on this week I think. Probably aim for the four fold accumulator again. I'll be going with specific method of victory though.
I am going against you once again, and I think there is more value betting on Yair Rodriguez this time.
Both of them are very good fighters and this is going to be small All-Mexican main event, but Rodriguez has slight reach advantage.
I think he learned a lot after losing last fight with Holloway in 2021 and Ortega lost from Holloway in 2018.
I am just listening their pre fight interviews and I didn't make any final decision, but I think this fight is going to distance.

I'm going to review some more tape on the less familiar fighters, for my predictions, and will likely post them on Friday to avoid any late cancellations. Although, we had a cancellation a few hours before last weekend due to what I believe was a stomach virus.

Ortega vs Rodriguez. Types that can do heavy damage to both fighters. Ortega is scary. Rodriguez will need a good game plan. Ortega took heavy damage in two fights. Rodriguez has a chance. I actually want Rodriguez to win. So we can see him fighting the Volk. But i think Ortega will most likely beat him by submission after losing most of the striking battle.

That is right, there are no real thread in featherweight division for Volkanovski. He would either beat everyone for the second time (boring scenario), or he should move to other weight division (preferable scenario), or would be inactive for some period (which is not good). I really think he should try himself in Bantamweight. Alex is not tall, does not look huge. I would love to see him fighting Yan or Aldo or Sterling.

He can surely go down or up, as long as he is not in the Featherweight division, well it is ok if he goes to the Bantamweight and then snatches the belt to Sterling which Petr Yan can't simply have a grab on, but even though he is short on his height I think the Lightweight is still preferable for Volkanovski, I would love to see a Dustin Poirier, or Justin Gaethje I think the threat for Alexander Volkanovski on that division is Islam Makhachev, and the stripped champion Charles Oliveira,

I have sort a feeling, that Fiziev will be thrown next on Chandler or Makhachev, and it will be a total declass for him, as they wont make a brawl with him, but rather submit him in first round. Maybe his next opponent would be Poirier. But I think UFC are saving Poirier for McGregor.

For me, Makhachev is a real threat to Fiziev, and the level of wrestling for Chandler for me is not that much to the Dagestan wrestling of Makhachev, it is proven that Fiziev has great balance for takedown defense and I think Chandler will just be Clobbered by Fiziev when going for a takedown,

Once Volk starts recycling the challengers of 145, there's no other way to go but to 155 and challenge all the killers there.

Anyway, can you check my lottery ticket and critique it?  Would really appreciate it if somebody tells me what I'm doing wrong.  Thanks.  Smiley

155 will be a good challenge for Volkanovski in my opinion, and pretty much it is the right way to go, then when he got the belt there, then he can go down for a triple belt oh and I really love to see that,

And for your Multi-Master challenge

12) Brian Ortega - I think Brian Ortega, is a good choice and for me, I would surely go with Ortega aswell, I will be giving my final verdict in the next couple of days

11) Amanda Lemos - Amanda Lemos is a safe pick, but you know me I will go with Michelle Waterson because she is a fighting kitten, but yeah Amanda Lemos is a good choice

10) Muslim Salikhov - Muslim Salikhov, for me as well Jingliang  has faced Chimaev and was pretty much shocked by his strength and for me Salikhov, power is legit aswell,

9) Matt Schnell - Matt Schnell is my choice aswell

8 ) Shane Burgos - Shane Burgos is a powerhouse, and for me, it is just OK,

7) Lauren Murphy - Murphy is a killing machine and a knockout artist but I will go with the well-rounded girl Miesha Tate,

6) Daicha Lungiambula - Dalcha Lungiambula is like a monster, and I think a good choice,

5) Ricky Simon - This is a bit Trickier, for me Jack Shore is more well-rounded, you will always be hearing well-rounded on me, and I really love a fighter with a tremendous
Wrestling skill,

4) Bill Algeo - Both fighters have wrestling, but for me, Herbert Burns has good wrestling

3) Dustin Jacoby - I would go with Jacoby aswell,

2) Dwight Grant - the same pick as you,

1) Emily Ducote - I am going with Jessica Penne here,

Match 12 Total Strikes:  125

Pretty much you got great picks and for me, this is just an opinion, take it as a grain of salt,

^  Makhachev would def beat Fiziev.  Chandler is a tough match up for him too due also to the elite wrestling.  If the match makers are smart, they'd give him Justin Gaethje.  It's good match up with Fiziev having a chance to win as the underdog.  Gaethje has a wrestling background but he likes strike.  They guy doesn't get KO'd easy too.

lol, everyone wants to rematch with Volkanovski. Ortega probably is somewhere in the end of a queue to fight Volkanovski again. Maybe next year or after several wins Ortega can get a second shot. Otherwise featherweight will turn into a boring roundabout of 4 fighters trying to take a belt from Volkanovski waist.

I guess Ortega needs to win 2 more fights so he can challenge Volkanovski again, but for me, Alexander Volkanovski is way more in his league from watching his fight with Max Holloway, right now I can say that in the featherweight division there is no fighter the Rank 8 that can beat Volkanovski, for me I will have to wait for Movsar Evloev and Ilia Topuria to have a decent match with Volkanovski and right now the great thing to do is move up a division and get another belt,

I have stopped seeing real thread from RDA. He has "wagon and small cart" of experience, but after loosing his belt, he has lost all his fight to top level fighters. Who has he won last years ? Felder and Moicano - they are not even in top15. Kevin Lee is not in UFC anymore. Lawler - his chis is no longer a stone Cheesy Magny - it was 5 years ago. I knew that Fiziev would win. I did not expect a KO only, because it is hard to KO RDA.

I wouldn't expect their takedown defense of Fiziev to be this reliable, he is always going for his center of gravity and very cautious on RDA takedowns, and at the same time striking him hard I didn't expect either that the chin of RDA will collapse of Rafael Fiziev punch, it was a shocker, for me seeing that, but this is UFC, man Fiziev is really technical with his punches and the power that knock Dos Anjos is legit, I'll surely be looking forward on his next fight,

^  Felder is really a tough guy and I think he was ranked at the time him and RDA fought then he retired and was removed from the rankings to be a commentator full time.  Could be wrong but it would be nice if somebody looked into it.

Anyway he have another greasy event for betting.  Even more so that the last event imo.  I could see 6 underdogs winning it but chose 4 for my degen parlay.

Salikhov - Lemos at 2.00
Add:  Burgos - Ortega at 4.92
Add:  Jacoby - Grant - Algeo at 21.92
Add:  Ducote - Murphy - Schnell at 284.38
Add:  Simon - Lungiambula at 1971.01

What do you guys think of Salikhov vs Li?  It now feels iffy putting him in my top ticket but felt confident enough to put him there when I made the bets.  :/

Certainly this was not the night to remember for UFC fans.
This was mostly expected results for me with nothing spectacular but Nurmagomedov family keeps pushing more wins in UFC Smiley
Chase Sherman win against Jared Vanderaa was biggest surprise for me, this was devastating KO win in third round with dominant performance by Sherman, and who doesn't like to watch big heavyweight clash.
Video of last few seconds: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/llV1wKz_U_I

I really don't like it either, it's not that spectacular, I never thought that Fiziev could beat Dos Anjos, and Sherman to Vanderaa, I really never expected those results but still, I just watch the fight with a sign of discontentment may be because I am used to an event with 2 to 3 fights that were outrageously awesome and unexpected and I really never feel any of that in this event,

Well once a Nurmagomedov always a Nurmagomedov, there might be a fear coming out from that name, that is why certain Nurmagomedovs would find their success,

Rodriguez early fights than Max Holloway as Pro but he still loses or due to injury then gets down by Max Holloway's fist, by looking at that, maybe it better to put a bet on Ortega, if the count a bit wins with big money, Rodriguez is choice.

Max Holloway is a true potential fighter, that is pretty much technical, but Alexander Volkanovski has outsmarted him, and right now I think the Caliber of Volkanovski has risen, but I can not say that Holloway dwindled with his techniques or speed, I say Holloway is still that Holloway like he used to be, and for Rodriguez even though he doesn't have that injury on him, Max Holloway still could win that one, but Brian Ortega for the win here as well,

Just in Brian Ortega still thinks he is a big threat for Alexander Volkanovski and wants a rematch VS Alexander Volkanovski,

For me my take here I think Brian Ortega was dominated by Alexander Volkanovski, their recent fights were all a set up by Volkanovski, I say just like the Max Holloway domination by Volkanovski this is the same, even though Brian Ortega has caught Volkanovski into submission, Volkanovski was able to get free from that, I really think Brian Ortega should get the low ranking fights and be a gate to the pursuers of the belt and get those money fights, I really think another Match from Volkanovski will still be the same and can be much worst than their last fight,

Brian Ortega is still favorite win, but even 2 years different old, Yair will hold his equipment and if win, growning up to #2 or #3 position from current rank #4. this fight is very interesting to watch what else Brian was lost in the last match.
For me, this will be a close fight, both fighters lost to Max Holloway, but Brian Ortega has tasted a loss to Alexander Volkanovski I think that will surely impact his performance when you see Volkanovski in a fight While Yair Rodriguez doesn't have any experience with Volkanovski, for me, Brian Ortega facing Volkanovski will surely enhance his experience, a lot and being well-rounded I think he can have many options on taking on Rodriguez,

Alright night of fights. The main event was good. Other than that, not too much to write home about. After Ricky screwed me, I put a bet on for Sherman to win via decision since the odds were just too good, Said to win via decision, and then Borralho to win. For a couple of k, and bloody Sherman had to knock out his opponent didn't he. He was so close Cheesy.

Never ever put a low level match up at the top two tickets of the lottery...  Would've won thhree tickets again if not for the Lawrence pick.  Broke even as I won the top ticket tho...
I usually avoid putting same fight in more than one ticket, and mix it up with different betting options, special bets, fights going to distance or not.
And losing a bet with higher odds always feel better than losing a bet with 1.2 or 1.3 odds, same as winning it Wink

UFC on ABC 3: Ortega vs. Rodriguez

So which fights are recommended to watch except main event?

As to main event: both fighters are going to regain reputation after a lost in previous fight. Both are quite high in top. In the current fight, I think Ortega would win. Rodriguez havent found for a while. Lost to Holloway 9 months ago, and before that havent fought for several years. I think Ortega would be more prepared this time.

For me Brian Ortega VS Yair Rodriguez will be going the distance, I really see this fight will be a close one, but Ortega in my opinion is well-rounded, and after that Volkanovsk fight he has taken the experience to be beaten by Volkanovski, so I think Ortega can score a takedown, but I am still looking further on the fight for both fighters

And the event that I think is worth the watch was

Jingliang Li VS Muslim Salikhov - Another Russian Opponent for Jingliang, after his fight with Chimaev pretty much became a fan of Khamat Chimaev, and in this fight, I think that JingLiang has a slight advantage with the takedown, but I can not know for sure, Muslim Salikhov is great with Strikes, so it will be an outstanding match,

Matt Schnell VS Sumudaerji - this match for me I think is pretty much good t watch, Schnell might come to two consecutive losses, but he is pretty well rounded, back on his recent years, while Sumudaerji is a KO artist with pretty a lot of his fight was with KO, but for me, I think that he still hasn't shown a lot and Schnell is pretty much good with the submission and pretty much well rounded, I am pretty much curious about this fight,

^  Burgos vs Jourdain will def be a banger.  Both are strikers.  Shane Burgos is better and he fought better competition but Jourdain is on the rise and getting better too.  Big test for Jourdain.  And there's also Simon vs Jack Shore...  Both are wrestlers but this is gonna be high level grappling imho but Simon can crack.  Another one would've been Algeo vs Quarantillo if it wasn't cancelled.  Both fighters have similar styles and with good cardio.

Soriano vs Lungiambula could be a banger too but both guys looking bad lately.

You won't be surprised because Fiziev has Knock out RDA on the last round!. This the biggest win on his careers and it will increase his confidence in the future. The result is bid surprise to us who bet RDA in begining.
Not really surprised since the bookie already listed Fiziev as favorited while Dos Anjos as underdog, so we're expect Fiziev will win, but we're taking a risk to bet Dos Anjos due to his experience and rank #7 higher than Fiziev #10, but you're right this is his biggest win so far.

Fiziev is really smart, he set up a fake low knee to make Dos Anjos's eye focus on his knee, after that Fiziev hit the different side of Dos Anjos since his hand didn't protect his face.

Even though it is dos anjos under, I did not expect such a finish from Fiziev. In fact, when you look at the way the fight went, Anjos shot very effectively in the fourth round, he had a good elbow when they broke apart at the end of the round, going into the fifth round, I was surprised to see that Fiziev finished so fast because Anjos had a good round. Fiziev had been using that left hook from the beginning of the round, and he finally landed an accurate explosive hit and finished TKO.

^  Aimann Zahabi's older brother is Firas Zahabi.  The guy runs Tristar Gym who once housed two great fighters, GSP and Rory MacDonald.  He could come up with a game plan to beat a supposed superior fighter in these low level matches imho.

Anyway the next event looks like there's gonna be around three or so good underdog picks at first glance.  It's gonna be another greasy card but the main event will def be great.

Note to self for the next event:  Never ever put a low level match up at the top two tickets of the lottery...  Would've won thhree tickets again if not for the Lawrence pick.  Broke even as I won the top ticket tho...

I think RdA will win the match against Fiziev and that's because of the respect he'd have for RdA and the experience he has to fight 5 rounds and use the energy wisely while being tough through the fight. Both fighters are going all in on their stand up game and not focusing much on ground game. We could witness some fireworks. Cant wait. Cheesy
