Eh, I can't blame him for playing the injury card. He got propped up really high and there were some expectations that have yet to be met, money-wise (from his point of view). So he's playing that card because he knows his stock will plummet if he looses his nex fight so he wants to make damn sure it pays well. As for Paul, I am shocked he ain't calling Logan Paul out, he already called out everybody else.
But it is not a great thing to do many fighters would want that position of his he should have given that to others that are willing to fight anyone especially Khamzat Chimaev, his stock will plummet down whether he likes it or not to fight if he doesn't want to fight fans will get sour of him and it is a bad thing for his career I think many have known about what he is doing and the UFC will surely force a fight for him, and Dana White will surely get doctors that he trust for another injury pop-up,
I don't know if Dana White would agree to that, Jake Paul is beating up retired UFC fighters but I don't know about active fighters if Dana White would allow that, because I think Dana White doesn't really like Jake Paul.
December, in particular Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year, however its an absolute nightmare I have to wait so long without watching MMA. You just get so used to watching is every weekend, and occasionally missing a weekend, that I kind of feel lost now.
Luckily, the hype of some of the fights coming up has still got me in good spirits. Particularly looking forward to the Izzy fight. I've said it before, but Whittaker has probably the best chance in the division to hurt, and beat Izzy. At least right now, obviously Alex Pereira being in the UFC now might change things up a little, but I think his lack of grappling might be a problem. Izzy is at least a little more accustomed to it, and might be able to make the changes necessary to put Alex out of his comfort zone.
The same feeling, UFC fighting is my medicine and without it, I tend to find that relieves on something else by watching another MMA fight or boxing if there is an available one, but I just can't have a full feeling if there is not an upcoming fight that I would research and make analysis on who's going to win,
And what fights I am waiting for next year will be a great year, and just like you I would love to see an Israel Adesanya fight, Francis Ngannou VS Ciryl Gane, a Khamzat Chimaev fight is possible this January, well I think if a UFC fighter would know how much they can get in fighting Jake Paul than to fight inside the octagon I think they will surely go and grab that Jake Paul match even if they lose to Jake Paul they can still get a large sum of money.
