Chimaev looks promising, but I'm not sure if he deserves a title shot against Usman yet? Usman also has two outlets to his attacks, he can knock people out, and he's also a decent wrestler. Chimaev we've only really seen the wrestling side. I don't think he'll man handle Usman like he has with everyone else that has been put in front of him so far.

I want to see Chimaev put in front of a few lesser opponents than Usman, but are known for being able to prevent the takedown, and have heavy fists. This is MMA, and it would be nice to see if Chimaev can mix it up. Despite all the criticism Khabib gets for his wrestling style, he actually did have decent stand up too.

Important thing about Chimaev - we do not know anything about his cardio. He never fought longer than 2 rounds or longer than 7 minutes. But if we look on Usman record - plenty of 25min fights. If you think that it will be an easy fight for Chimaev, then give me your thought how he is going to win. Statistically Usman has 100% defense against takedowns. His current striking is on a top level. This is either is going to be a close fight and win by decision by Usman, or we will get all the answers when we will see how good Chimaevs cardio is.

That is why I really like Khamzat Chimaev really get the Leon Edwards fight, he surely knows what he is doing in my opinion, that speed and strength that he showed to destroy the Sambo Champion are pretty remarkable with just a punch because he can not make a takedown while we can see he is outpowering his opponent, but Ikram Aliskerov has a background in combat sambo his takedown defense is remarkable, so Khamzat would take him out with a powerful punch. that out cold Ikram Aliskerov was really powerful.

Yeah, that 2 minute video in my post above is a good source for those who don't have time to watch many of Chimaev's fights, but still want to know about his style and potential. The video has got above 1 million views already, and for a good reason. It kind of summarizes in short form the phenomenon of Khamzat Chimaev.

This is why I am Khamzat all the way, regarding if he could make a title match against Kamaru Usman this is a different level fighter.

If you mean, Kamaru Usman is on the higher level, then I think you still underestimate Chimaev. Smiley

Yup, at first glance my gut is going for Aldo too. Font is good but Aldo has way more experience.  And I think this is Font’s first time fighting in a 5 round main event.  Aldo on the other hand is so used to fighting 5 round matches since he was the champ at 145 for so long...  And he’s the underdog.  Wink
Good point, I think it's often underestimated fighters that are used to fighting five rounds, it's a totally different pace at which you need to fight. For example, Sean Brady would definitely not be competitive going into the championship rounds, and while he did definitely do well against Chiesa, you could see he was gassing out towards the end, and another round I think he could have definitely been in a lot of trouble, since Chiesa was finally getting to him. In fact, I think he may have been rocked twice during that last round, hard to tell because he went straight for the takedown, which is a normal reaction for a wrestler when they get rocked.

Yeah Aldo being the underdog still hasn't hit me yet. Such a legend, I forget he's getting on a bit now. Still, I consider him the favourite in my heart Cheesy.

Sean Brady did an amazing work defeating Michael Chiesa, he kept his perfect mma record with 15 wins ands I expect to see him jumping in much better position for welterweight division.
Chiesa was 6th in UFC ranking for his division and Bready was 14th, so I think he deserves to be on number seven or eight and in top 10 for sure.
He was calling for main event and five rounds in his next fight and some of the top 10 or top 5 fighter.

I really didn't expect Brady would win, but after that performance, he sure will skyrocket on a higher rank and might be able to compete for the belt, but with Chiesa match, he surely shown how he can handle the situation more calm and technical, I think he surely controls every round and giving pressure with his takedowns that I though Michael Chiesa would do, well I was shocked to see the opposite Sean Brady really deserves the praise, but after this match, the next match will surely be hard now that he had risen the rankings,

But because of his performance, I will surely look forward to what he can still do in his future fights and if he's able to keep the undefeated record.

I basically put a few of the favourites on an accumulator, and they all won. Except, I included it on a accumulator with some football bet builders, which Manchester City didn't get over 8 corners, so I actually fell short. It was more of a punt in the dark rather than anything.

Terrible fights for most of the night I thought was definitely a card to forget. Sean Brady did alright, not impressed massively by him, and Chiesa also seemed to only wake up in the last round, where Sean could then just dive for the takedown, and keep safe. Disappointing even all around.

The good news is we should have a few weeks of absolute banger of cards now that one is over, and done with.

My early leans for the next even are; Jake Matthews, Aldo, and Kape. So, I'm pretty much fancying the favourites again this time around. Though, Font could shock Also. Jake I'm very confident about.

I don't really see any great fights right now but the Rob Font VS the Jose Aldo match only, in this fight I feel that Jose Aldo is not in his prime anymore, well this is just what I see about him right now, and the rising Rob Font still is advancing and making progress, Jose Aldo after his Conor McGregor fight he is not the same anymore, it really hit him physically and mentally, Conor McGregor have put him in a mental state were Jose Aldo can not come back to be Jose Aldo anymore that fight really devastate him, for me Rob Font is a better fighter right now, well this is just what I think I will still gather information to strengthen my pick.

P.S. I will update the card when there will be more info

Aldo probably had over come the devastating loss against big fights of his life that made him the highlight knockouts.  He won the last two fights, he deserves the main event.

But this Rob Font is also too fit to fight anyone in his way. Hope to see Aldo give good shots or drop on the 3rd round so it won't be very disappointing.

A disaster card for me from a betting perspective.  LOL.  I mean wow.  I think I need to stop wasting the sig monies in these events.  If somebody can suggest an online store that accepts BTC where I can buy some knick knacks or random fun stuff, I’m all ears.

The next event should be fun.  Early leans are Aldo and Fiziev...  Feel free to fade.  Cheesy

Just buy some horribly designed UFC merch and thank me later. The terrible card situation, well, that's all down to there being too many cards in a year, so by sheer statistic, you will get some shitty ones. But with so many fighters on the roster, I don't see how they could get around having so many events. It's a catch 22.

It is one of the worst fight cards in a long time. Only one fight ended early than expected and the rest of the fights went to decision. First time watching Sean Brady fight live and they way in which he was able to take down Michael Chiesa easily was a huge surprise.

Luana Pinheiro won the fight and she is really beautiful Smiley.

A huge upset for me aswell the only fight that I get an income was the Luana Pinheiro VS Sam Hughes fight, Michael Chiesa seemed don't know how to set up Brady, but Sean Brady was so calm the whole fight even though Chiesa busted his nose, he surely didn't mind at all Sean Brady got all his points from his takedown I got to admit even with all that experience Chiesa seems to not know what he is doing and it seems that Brady has the power to make those takedowns easier,

While Ketlen Vieira and Miesha Tate fight, Miesha looks awful she is the one charging the strikes but Vieira was calm and waiting for Miesha's attack, it was a fiasco on Miesha's part, where blood was all over her face because Vieira always was watching her every move forward.

This was a disaster card for me in my opinion, and looking at the next card I am really not excited about it.

My bet is the sexy fighting kitten in the main event hehehe. Miesha Tate is a MMA fighter, however, she can sometimes appear like a porn star. It is her eyes. Those eyes want to tell that you she might want to do something with you.

No wonder and seriously can't argue why Miesha Tate is called "cupcake" in her industry, too hot to handle. But frankly speaking, I still can't believe that she was defeated by an underdog (Viera), Tate is quite rusty now than her recent fights. I really thought that Tate would win this match via TKO, but the opposite happened.

Expected Chiesa to win this, but Brady is not giving up his undefeated record. As mentioned earlier, I don't know where Miesha Tate's place is in the MMA world, image-wise, but also as a competitor. I guess she could be a solid gatekeeper, but that's about it. Also, this was a long ass event XD

I forgot that there is a fight card, nothing that interest me that much in this card other than Miesha Tate who is trying to reach the title picture but as long as Amanda Nunes is around, it is hard to think that anyone could defeat her.

My picks for the card are Luana Pinheiro, Kyung Ho Kang, ,Joanne Wood and Miesha Tate .

The Beautiful Luana Pinheiro was also my pick and right now she has won over a decision against Sam Hughes and judging from their fight Luana is absolutely have the advantage, total strike for Luana Pinheiro was 67/170 while Sam Hughes has 65/147 Significant Strikes goes to her as well with 60/159 over 53/130 and the number of takedowns 2/3 and submission attempts no wonder I vouch for her a remarkable performance.

Pretty much I have picked only 3 fights to these events, and I am now waiting for the Michael Chiesa VS Sean Brady where I think Chiesa could win, and Ketlen Viera VS Miesha Tate where I think Miesha Tate could make a win over Viera.

^  It started around 30 mins late.  McKinney vs Ziam was rescheduled as one of the cornermen at McKinney’s camp tested positive for covid.

Edit:  Check out the cancellations at the bottom.  This event would’ve been better.
