This was a great win for Derek Brunson just like I expected, it was pure gift from bookies with that odds, and I was even happier getting double win promotion for betting on Stake. Smiley
I think that start of this fight night was young UK fighter Paddy Pimblett with KO win in first round against Luigi Vendramini.
This week we are taking a break from UFC but Dana's White Contender Series keeps rolling gout with new fights and potentially new UFC fighters.

Vegas-38 "Darren Till vs. Derek Brunson" very exciting match, By winning this match Derek Brunson won five matches in a row. He also won the title of the second-highest finishes in the history of the UFC's middleweight division. I am just amazed that He is preceded only by Anderson Silva.

In "Paddy Pimblett vs Luigi Vendramini", You know, I was sure that Paddy Pimblett would win this match and so it happened. In the first round, Paddy Pimblett won by knockout. Cheesy

Logan Urban VS Josh Quinlan

For me, if you really want to go with the contender match, I would really not suggest getting on to it, if there is not much information about the fighter then it is really OK if you would not bet on it, but after short research and looking at others prediction, Josh Quinlan is the favorite here, in some picks that I watch, I could say Urban is a striker here and in his MMA debut he's pretty good on takedown defense for a striker that is the bread and butter for fighters that wants the fight to the ground, and Josh Quinlan is a mix but he could definitely wrestle a bit, but I can not say for sure if Quinlan is stronger than Urban because if Quinlan is much stronger than Urban then Urban's takedown defense is nothing and vice versa if Urban would be stronger for Quinlan, Quinlan takedowns will be a walk in the park, If I would pick on one of Dana's Contender I would go with Logan Urban, he is pretty good with takedown defense and could defend Quinlan's takedown.

Who is following Dana's contender series? If you have picks, please drop some insights. I just felt bored because the next fight night will be happening in two weeks Grin

~
I don't know how his career will go from here on, but I wouldn't completely count him out just yet.
No doubt he still has the power and the striking skills to KO anyone. Maybe he should try to evolve his game? I think he still has time to develop a more well-rounded style.

No idea who these guys are but you could do a tape study thru MMA Core and check the measurables and their records at Tapology.  I tend to trust the bookies lines here and avoid looking for value since they have more info than the general public with these obscure fighters.  So what I’d do is parlay the huge favorites.

Right now I am just relying on the news for sources on the contenders series, and right now the next contender series will be

The only bet that I made was the Jack Shore match over 2.5 rounds.  Lol.  Martinez vs Rojo was cancelled and I was gonna live bet Spivak if it went past R1..  I leaned Brunson but I didn’t pull the trigger.  But congrats Welsh!

And I feel bad for Till.  There were three fighters from Liverpool in this event.  He’s the only guy who didn’t win.

I kinda like Aspinal now.  He’s one of the realest people in the roster.  Watch his post fight press conference.

I don't blame you for not going all-in with the main event. Even though Till is on the losing streak, I honestly consider him a real threat in the division and someone that can win a fight you would never give to him. I don't know how his career will go from here on, but I wouldn't completely count him out just yet.

Why you are taking Conor McGregor as an example? he is not a world-class player at all, I've seen his fight with Khabib. McGregor is always aggressive and jumps on the opponent after personal anger. He performs in a bad mood and in a weird type of game, there is no doubt, McGregor is a stigma of the UFC.
Paddy has his own style of play, and he doesn't foul as much as McGregor, he's certainly an upcoming superstar but not a foul player like McGregor.

Ohh Yah! Connor McGregor is one of the most financially successful players in the UFC. He is a mixed martial artist, and you know he is the second mixed martial artist to be the UFC's featherweight and lightweight champion at the same time. He is one of the best UFC strikers. There is a talk that no one can tolerate McGregor's left-hand strike, you know? UFC's top five paperviews are in his possession. One of them is a boxing match with Floyd Mayweather, he was paid $100million to play the match, you know? Can you show me any single player who has won such an amount at a single match in his entire UFC life?

In Connor vs Khabib match, Khabib got favor cause he was young and had good strength but there is no player as skilled as McGregor. You don't like McGregor that doesn't mean he is not World-Class Player.

Do you really know what you are saying? or just spouting bias on McGregor? Well we all know how good of a fighter Conor McGregor is and yes he surely establishes his career in the world of UFC and yeah maybe financially successful with it but regarding the skilled player, on the other hand, I can say that Dustin Poirier is more skilled in my opinion, and the Connor VS Khabib fight you are saying that Khabib Nurmagomenodov just got the favored in being young and had good strength? There might be a 1-year gap with their age but I think McGregor has his own strength Khabib Nurmagomenodov is just dominating his wrestling over Connor, we all saw that Khabib Nurmagomenodov really won 100% and that is not because of the favor, I think if they would have a rematch the result will always be the same.

Edit: and that $100 Million matches were just for show, that is an entirely new thing for him, and entering a jungle that he can not really win although he surely gets a lot of payment regarding that fight in my opinion is a controversial.

It appears the MMA news media outlets are hyping Paddy the Baddy Pimblett. According to some of those articles, he is being endorsed by the notorious one Conor McGregor and also implies that he might be the next Conor McGregor.
Pimblett has often been compared to McGregor throughout his rise to prominence.
On Tuesday, another fan did so on social media and McGregor responded by wishing ‘The Baddy’ well and reminiscing about his time in Liverpool for the Grand National in 2017, while also taking a shot at Michael Bisping.
Pimblett recently revealed he is hoping to one day square off against McGregor at Anfield Stadium – the home of Liverpool Football Club.
“An Irishman versus a Scouser. I feel like that would be fucken rowdy. That would be next level. It would be ridiculous, to be honest.”
“He’s [Conor McGregor] a money type of guy. And fighting an Anfield in front of like 60-70,000 people is where the money’s at,” Pimblett added. “So, that’s why I could see that happening. But anyone. It doesn’t matter. Like, I’m going to be that big of a star that you could fucking put me in there against a hobo and I’d fill it out.”

He certainly has the confidence hehehe.
the kid Paddy had hyped himself since that every time he wins he jumps to the crowd acting like he personally knew them just as a politician waving and pointing to the crowd while nodding. he certainly has his own way of hyping himself but he isn't an accurate hitter though.  if Connor doesn't have an injured leg, he can knock this kid standing in front of him.

Derek Brunson VS Darren Till

I absolutely love the match and how Derek Brunson executed it all, very patient with his striking and have the power on his left punch, and what I like is the fake with his takedown it seems that he is going for the takedown, and Darren Till really is caught off guard because Brunson suddenly switches on striking mode, This is the opportunity that for Brunson that he can execute an easy takedown on Till, but Till can surely do his best if he had back up his faints more but he just let Brunson swayed it out, but Derek Brunson is much stronger than Till, I really think it was total domination, Darren, Till never really fought a much bigger and stronger wrestler than Brunson and that is a big factor why Till losses.

Absolutely spot on with your Brunson wrestle fuck @Welsh! And happy to cash in on my outright at 2.55, beautiful end to my week. Did lose a smaller outlay against Aspinall, that guy's punches didn't disappoint, that 1st round TKO will boost his reputation no doubt but I'm overall in nice profit from these two fights, so no complaints.

Watched the Kim/McCann fight highlights too -- both took home bonuses -- still not so convinced there's much to watch in the women's though, all due respect.

Similar to the data of Jared Cannonier’s takedown defense that appears low because of the different weight divisions, Darren Till’s data on his takedown defense appears high because much of his fights were in welterweight where he was much bigger than other fighters. Brunson might have lowered this by a few percentage hehe.

Another good betting day for me. I thought Till was done in the first round but he did well surviving the ground and pound. He got careless after he landed some good shots in round 3 and choked out seconds later Grin Brunson challenging Adesanya after that but I don't think he has what it takes yet. I hope he gets the chance before he retires though. The man's 37 already.

Derek Brunson by wrestle fuck basically. That's my prediction anyway. I see it going similar to how Brunson, and Holland went. Except Till will probably at least put in some effort. The shore fight is probably the one I'm looking forward to the most, but I think the main event will probably be a snooze fest. I'll put my predictions up later tonight, but at the moment here's my thoughts.

Shore by points
Derek Brunson by points
Tom Aspinal by points
Martinez vs Rojo not going the distance.

I'm hoping that Tom Aspinal proves some of the doubters wrong by winning a decision. It'll be nice to see him display that he can do it. Shore I'm going with because of the Welsh connection, but I genuinely believe it'll be a very close point decision going either way.

Martinez vs Rojo got cancelled.  Martinez had a really bad weight cut and wouldn’t be able to fight.

And I think if you’re going to pick Aspinall it’s better to take him inside the distance.  Matches he’s won end early and his loses all ended with a finish.

That was really shameful for Martinez and this is just because of the miss weight-in currently a thing he can not do something about it, but what really happens? Well, I really don't know and may wait for further information,

Right now the match between Derek Brunson VS Darren Till, I still don't change the fact that Brunson will win this I have assimilated what may happen with the fight and Brunson will surely distract Till with takedowns and will try to distract him on his momentum.

I love Derek from MPMD, and he knows what he is talking about. Well, no one should be surprised about this, it's not like anyone believes he made a non-enhanced recovery that fast after his leg injury. The only one still hiding it is Anderson himself XD

Guys you should tune in to Live UFC fight night prelims that started earlier than usual, it is late morning in Las Vegas and night time in Europe.
Pay attention for fight Modestas Bukauskas vs Khalil Rountree it should be fireworks and potential to see someone winning by KO.
For young Paddy Pimblett this is first fight in UFC and he is facing Luigi Vendramini in interesting Lightweight category fight.

This are my main picks for tonight:
Derek Brunson and Tom Aspinall both to win.
