Mike Tyson had the itch to fight again and he wants to do it for charity so that he can raise money to help people and if Jon Jones wants to be the dance partner in boxing i do not see any problem as both are grown ass men and they know what they are doing and i have seen the training videos of Mike Tyson and the speed and the punching power he has at 53 years of age is incredible and it is going to be an exhibition match for 2 or 3 rounds at the most and you think Mike Tyson will not stand against Jon Jones for three rounds.

This man thinks he can gain some popularity by challenging the legend.
I doubt this is the case. After all his actions inside and outside the octagon, he's pretty much known in the world of contact sports.

I think he is out of his mind, he wants some charity fight with the old man? He can have some charity fight with someone his age. I think he can just fight some good fighters in the UFC the one with lots of fans to fully support their charitable activities. I just can't see it happen to him fighting mike in the future. that's not what we have been looking for.
It looks like you are not yet familiar with what's happening in the UFC recently. Nobody wants a charity fight right now. Popular UFC fighters today like Jon Jones are "revolting" against Dana and UFC management because they feel they aren't getting paid enough. Tyson himself said in an interview that if Jones wants to have some super money, Jon should fight him. That's probably a joke on Tyson's part but Jones already accepted the challenge with a proposal of his own and some people are already blowing this out of proportion.

He wanna fight for charity yet wanna fight Mike Tyson, what is that? That can't happen. Let's say Mike is in his 40s, he wouldn't fight for Charity, Mike has more to lose.

He can pick someone else that will really be willing to like Crawford but this guy might not also fight for charity.

He's just getting embarrassing now, even if he is only joking. Tyson shouldn't be fighting anyone at his age, but if he does it should be someone his age at least. JJ asking for both a boxing match and an MMA match with him is just stupid. He seems like he really is desperate now to keep his name in the limelight.
Jon Jones is a twitter champion who changes his opinion all the time and i am sure he is having fun joking around challenging a 53 year old Mike Tyson and inviting him to fight in the MMA is a meme as it is clear that Jon Jones is not interested in really challenging Tyson but to have some twitter rants going and get to the limelight as you mentioned  Grin.

Personally i would like to see a 3 round charity fight with head gears with Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield as Holyfield also said he is willing to do a charity fight to raise money, no way i want to see any active fighters but i feel that Tyson could school many active heavyweights but lets have this a fair charity event rather than feeding anyone's ego.

Jon Jones wants to fight for charity or for the money as he is rebelling against the UFC for not getting the proper treatment in terms of financial settlement to move to heavyweight and now he is willing to fight the 53 year old Mike Tyson and if it is a pure boxing match for three rounds then Mike Tyson is a tough fight even for Jon Jones but Dana White might not allow that fight to happen as Jon Jones is still under their contract.
Are you serious or what?  Sad
Jon Jones is 32 years old, and Tyson is granpa 21 years older than him (born 1966), not boxing for years.
Boxing or any other sport he can't compete with Jones or any other fighter in prime shape.
What a joke...

Anyone watched the Max Rohskopf fight where the corner was not calling off the fight even though he said he do not want to continue which was really brutal on the corners part as he was in the fight at a short notice and he was not able to cope up with the fight and he said he wanted to quit but the corner was not willing to call off the fight and i am sure the commission will take some action against the corner for that.

I haven't seen it as it doesn't seem to have show up on youtube yet, but I have respect for the guy. A lot of fighters don't know when to quit or throw in the towel, even when they're struggling to walk back to their corner or get back up from it between rounds. If you know you're defeated, mentally, physically or both then there's not much point walking out just so you can get knocked down. I liked Dana's response to the situation as well. Hopefully he'll give him another shot at some point.

Interesting news today!
Jon Jones challenged Mike Tyson for boxing fight if he also accepts fight in octagon after that.
Don't he knows that Tyson is 53 years old man... cringe  Undecided

Dana get mad because Blaydes' talksh*t do not match to his performance. He tell on the pre fight conference that we will witnessed a "rag doll" type of wrestling but in reality it was a boring fight Grin. No doubt that Blaydes won the fight, he just hate him for throwing expletive statement but bring poor results. Like what ene1980 said.

Blaydes is like a Khabib - blanket on the ring, but at least Khabib does some wise ground and pound, while Blaydes just lays on Volkov and throws some punches. Best example - starting from round 3, Blaydes makes a takedown and simply tries to lay down on Volkov. At the round 5 he had almost to stamina. If there would be round 6, Alexander would have TKO him Cheesy

I watched it and I really feel pity for him Sad. I can see that he is so exhausted but his corner want him to push the fight. Hmm that is his debut but I think it will be also his last. Tsk so sad. If there's anyone to blame here, I guess it would be his team and yeah I believe they should take appropriate punishment for doing such thing.

Not sure exactly what was Dana White expecting...and not every fight can be super exiting war.

I missed the fight live and just saw the post fight interview and Dana White was trashing Curtis Blaydes for his pre fight hype and trash talking like knocking him out in the first two rounds and then ended up in a boring fight.

We all know that Ngannou moat probably be the next in line after the next Miocic vs Cormier fight. Besides, I don't think Dana will not let that happen so easily after calling Blaydes "stupid". Dana is so disappointed on what performance he saw compared to the talksh*t he did. See full article

Nevertheless, it was a clean and dominating win for Razor. However, some people bash him because they don't like the match as a whole (me too Grin). But sell, that's how wrestling goes so everyone should understand that.

I saw Dana was talking shit after the fight, and maybe that was because Blaydes said before that they are avoiding to get him fight with Derrick Lewis.

Boring main event fight Sad the only thing it will be remembered - Blaydes set new amount of takedowns in one fight, 14.

White always have a chip on his shoulders and he wanted all the fighters to be entertaining all the time while they risk of getting knocked out if they do so and i understand why some of the fighters fight smartly than having a wild swing.

Meh...  I am 3 - 2 for the event.  I would've just broken even if I didn't put that last minute action on Lyman Good.  Oh well.  On to the next.  Poirier vs Hooker should be good.

Edit:  Burgos' loss was his own fault for letting himself get hit.  IMHO.  It could've been avoided.
The fight between Shane Burgos and Josh Emmett were really close and that was the one fight i did not wage a bet as i knew it will be really close and the strikes landed were almost similar but Josh Emmett was able to take him down once and the two knockdowns that changed the fight.

Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker fight card has some good fights and looking forward for the weekend and i am expecting Poirier to return back to the win column.

The fighters that impressed me in this fight card was Justin Jaynes, Gillian Robertson, Marc-André Barriault and Jim Miller actually surprised me.

Blaydes was dominating fighter in this main event and won on points against Volkov, but it was not as easy to do it.
He had 14 takedowns and 28 legs strikes, and was all over Volkov.
Now he wants to fight for title with winner of Miocic vs. Cormier fight.

Best fight of the night was Josh Emmett vs. Shane Burgos, and both of them won extra $50,000.
Josh Emmett won in all rounds, and this fight may even be best fight of the year so far.
Amazing performance from both fighters.
I also saw Dana White asking for people to comment on social media and help him with bonuses.

Had some good fights in the card and majority of them went the decision. Josh Emmett and Shane Burgos was a really great fight and i was betting for Burgos to win the fight and it was a really close fight and a bit of disappointment with that but it was a great fight.

I wanted Clay Guida to win the fight and it was competitive and it went the distance as expected but Guida still could not pull the victory.
