I don’t know why is everyone suddenly so keen for events to be held in China, as two days before it was some unknown premier league which suggested that the premier league shifts to China, now you’ll too think that UFC should shift to China and in my personal opinion shifting to China is a horrible idea. @TopTort777 usually I don’t like their trash talks, but since we can’t see any action right now we might as well hope that they’ll do lot of thrash talks, as that’ll definitely make the fights more entertaining to watch once it resumes.

Even i want to remember this as a bad dream but the number of infected people keeps on rising and i am locked inside for weeks simply because of fear of going out as the death count keeps on climbing on a daily basis and there is no end to that which is really scary and the stress i am under is immense and i want to be optimistic but the stats are scaring the living hell out of me.

They already cancelled a couple of fight cards and the new owners purchased this for a whooping $4 billion dollars and if they are not able to continue with the shows then they will be in financial trouble and all their contracts means that they need to come up with shows to get the revenue and with the complete shut down they are in a sort of crisis on deciding how to move forward and so is the reason Dana is adamant to move forward with the show but they are yet to find a stadium and an athletic body that would sanction the fight and with the number of cases rising on a daily basis it is unlikely we will see this fight card happen.

Look at China and with all their measures they had to go with months of total lockdown with great dicipline.
I doubt US will have any UFC event for months, or maybe in some deserted island without people.

it must be money. someone is forcing him to do so. its business or laundering probably. its always a possibility that a mob is forcing him. he knew its not possible due to pandemic. not accusing but if there is no sports event, it would be suspicious to send millions of dollars out to an account these days.

As I said before, I'm sure private planes can still get out. I really doubt every flight is grounded 100%. The military are still flying about and I'm sure they could catch a lift with them somewhere.

Lol. There was buzz on April the 1st about McGregor stepping in to fight. Most of it was April Fool's joking but Connor's coach did tweet about a 'third possible option' for the fight so that got a lot of people excited. Not sure whether he was joking but Connor has been training constantly and says he's up for the fight anytime so who knows.

They won't be able to commit to a venue because it's probably not a done deal yet and he will be keeping his options open. It looks like Dana was just trying to organise several possible venues so they could go with the most convenient or if one pulled out etc, but also maybe they need to keep it a secret so the powers that be don't try shut it down. I think if they do this fight they're going to both have to fly out of Russia and the US and do it in some crazy country that will have them, or some really bizarre location (I still like my warship idea Grin

), but I really don't think it's going to happen anytime soon.
