I also have big doubts he can do it. He has all the resources in the world, best minds in the game to tweak his stamina, but I believe ultimately it comes down to genetics. I still believe Conor can get the job done even if by a small margin, if he tweaks certain things.

Khabib is a great grappler but people are missing the fact that he isn't an elite traditional grappler. He would get beaten in a straight grappling matchup against purebreed American elite wrestlers. What he does is a special mix of grecoroman, wrestling and sambo. He wouldn't be as effective without having the net. I would like him to fight in a ring, things would be very different.
The mix of wrestling, Judo and combat Sambo along with Pankration is what is making Khabib successful in MMA, all of the wrestlers in AKA has talked highly of Khabib and even Daniel Cormier who is himself an Olympic level wrestler in the heavyweight division said that no one is able to compete with Khabib even in the gym and so does many of the high level fighters always praise Khabib about his skills.

Remember that he was The North American Grappling Association Champion (NAGA) too which is a high level competition for grappling.
He never competed in amateur wrestling and hence you cannot compare in the competition sector but he will be a high level wrestler and one thing you need to understand is that he never tasted defeat in his entire combat career.

I saw a video recently that Cain Velasquez debuted in WWE  Shocked. So his fighting days are over as he is concentrating on entertaining aspect.

I think we may see something afteral in future for Israel Adesanya vs Jon Jones fight.
There are more interesting match ups for Israel Adesanya and he has his hands full as there are a lot of talented fighters waiting in the ranks to face him before trying his luck in a different weight division, fighting against Jon Jones right now will be a suicide, Adesanya has the opportunity to make a legacy and be a dominant champion in his weight division and then think about facing anyone above his weight class.

I am not thrilled with upcoming UFC Fight Night 161 Jedrzejczyk vs. Waterson, in Florida.
There are no heavyweight fights or any specific fighter that I follow...
Do you have any news and predicitons?

There is no doubt that Khabib rematching against Conor will be another highest grossing PPV and that is the reason Dana White is also really interested in this match up.

People denying this fact are just living in lalaland. Conor McGregor hatting has become a mental disease in the MMA world. They live in an alternative reality in which they argue Conor McGregor isn't a draw anymore, when he is still the number 1 PPV attraction by a mile.

There is no way Conor will have the stamina to last five rounds with Khabib, the only situation i see is a flash knock out and if it goes the second round then there is no way Conor is going to beat Khabib.

I also have big doubts he can do it. He has all the resources in the world, best minds in the game to tweak his stamina, but I believe ultimately it comes down to genetics. I still believe Conor can get the job done even if by a small margin, if he tweaks certain things.

Conor has a great take down defense against average wrestlers but Khabib is on another level when it comes to grappling, it is not that easy to improve the cardio just like that, if that was that easy he would have done that already before fighting in the UFC  Cheesy.

Tony is the fight we need to see against Khabib and in the mean time Conor has to fight someone else, Dustin Poirier will be the perfect opponent for Cornor as both lost against Khabib and they faced each other at 145 pounds.

Dustin rematch woudl be cool but I doubt we'll see it. I understand why Conor wanted Frankie Edgar. He wants people that fight as similar as Khabib as possible and Dustin is a very different fighter. But then again he doesn't have any fights that could be pretty huge even if any fight Conor is huge, but Dusting rematch is the biggest story maker.

Looks like next stop for Israel Adesanya is Paulo Costa, a Brazilian with a record of 13-0-0, he defeated Yoel Romero in UFC 241, Uriah Hall in UFC 226 and Johny Hendricks in UFC 217. After beating Wittaker in UFC 243, You can see Israel Adesanya giving the DX Generation "suck it" move and Paulo Costa pointing his fingers back to Israel Adesanya. Plan is have a PPV match between this two at March 2020. Lets see if this will happen.

Looks like this is a logical match to set up by Dana. Those two are really going at it in the social media so it makes sense for them to fight.

Costa said that he can easily beat Adesanya and he is very confident of himself. Love to see the press conference here, and hear the insults.  Grin

Watched him in latest Ariel Helwani MMA show , where he said that Jon Jones should be ready for him in 2021,
but Jon Jones also wants to go one category higher. Anything can happen
We're not even sure if Adesanya will remain undefeated next year. He will probably fight two or three more fights to defend his title provided he remains free of serious injuries.

A Jones-Miocic fight would be interesting. A Jones-Comier at heavyweight would be nice too but I think we've seen enough of them.

@pereira4 A rematch isn't happening unless Connor pulls out some stupid shit as the bus incident again, iyam that won't end well for him this time Tongue Khabib won't be taking a re-match until Connor proves himself to be worthy, which I don't see happening as he has got all the money in the world now. Tongue I do agree with @SaShiRaJaVu Connor vs Dustin makes perfect sense and to see Connor "Back the fucking talk".

You may argue about the fight being 'good' for business but remember khabib ain't about money, He is all about his 'Legacy'. The way dude is disciplined I doubt any amount of money will be able to convince him. Tongue

It was amazing, right Shocked? Aside from that, I've read a post saying that he is also a fighter which did 10 knockdowns in all of his 7 fights. I only saw it on FB a while ago, free to correct me if I'm wrong Grin.
Israel Adesanya is a striking specialist and he has more than 29 knock out in Kickboxing in 80 fights and he has done some boxing matches too and that too professionally before entering the UFC, Daniel Cormier asked the help of Israel Adesanya to prepare for his fight against Jon Jones back in the day even before he was famous in the MMA circles and he rejected that because Luke Rockhold was the champion during that time.
In MMA he has 14 knockouts in 18 fights and it is not a big surprise as he is an elite striker and i expect a challenge from a wrestler, i would like to watch him fight Yoel Romero and Ronaldo Souza in the future.

That's just Adesanya setting it up for a future bout.  I doubt he'll fight Jon Jones now.  He's too skinny...  He needs at least a year to fill up for LHW imo.

Israel Adesanya is the face of UFC in a short time, he started fighting in UFC in 2018 and within two years he became the champion is an incredible feat.

Most probably he would be his next opponent if Dana agree on it (especially that Adesanya personally call Costa after his fight against Whittaker). I'm exciting for this because they're both undefeated but only one clean record will remain.

Looking forward to my girl MACKENZIE DERN fighting AMANDA RIBAS at UFC FIGHT NIGHT 161
I am looking forward to see her fight but she is coming after a long gap after giving birth to her child, so it is really difficult to predict how she will come back being a mom and perform the same way she used to do in the past.

Since you made me wonder as well, I did a little research. Israel Adesanya got 6 awards on his 7 fights: four Performance of the Night and 2 Fight of the Night. He got those Performance of the Night against Brunson, Tavarez, Wilkinson and Whittaker (currently) while he get the latter two when he fought Gastelum and Silva. The only match where he don't get an award is his match against Marvin Vettori Smiley.

When i  see these kind of meteoric rise i feel sad for Tony Ferguson who is performing at the top level for a very very long time and still he was not able to fight for the belt.

Now I am wondering what was that event that his fight was not appreciated by UFC.
