I had my doubts on Mackenzie Dern and her performance as she is coming back from a long layoff after pregnancy and it is not that easy to be back in shape and she lost the fight against Amanda Ribas and she was not even able to secure a take down while Amanda Ribas took her down twice Cheesy.

The rest of the fights are going on, i am expecting Kron Gracie to win as Cub Swanson is on a loosing streak for the past one year and most of the defeats are on the ground and in the main event i am going with Joanna Jedrzejczyk to win the fight and she missed weight by a long margin which is not fair for Michelle Waterson.

Edit:
Niko Prince won the fight inside the first round and i expected this win but not in the first round.

If you are looking at the past few fights you might not see many wins for Joanna Jedrzejczyk as she was fighting champions in her fights she lost and on the other hand Michelle Waterson won fights but she was not fighting the elite fighters or champions and that is the main difference and hence i am going with Joanna Jedrzejczyk because of her championship experience and her striking.

I did watched some JJ fights before and I know she lost against best fighters,
she is also going to fight on home field (her training gym).
Nevertheless odds are to low for me, and I don't think she is now mentally ready to win under pressure
Maybe I am wrong. Let's see.

There where also some doubts about JJ weight issues few days ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pa6LSOEJrWE

I think odds for Joanna Jedrzejczyk to win against Michelle Waterson are to low.
Looking at statistics and Joanna lost three of her four previous fights.

Michelle on the other hand won her last three fights.
Even if JJ wins it will not be easy, but I am going with low stake on Waterson here...
maybe I am influenced by here image previously posted image here idk   Grin

We dont know the future status of CONNOR so its almost not worth talking bout him at this point in time.

Agree.

Connor is never the same again even after the Mayweather fight. It was more than a year layoff when he fought Khabib so do you guys think it was his prime? That TKO Mayweather inflicted in him alone brought him back to reality as was made a fool and was just toyed by the old boxing legend.

He earned more than $200 already. He is inactive again for a year. He will end up losing again even more badly if he won't cherry pick.😅

I thought Joanna cannot make the weight anymore? Did her opponent just accepted a heavier opponent?

I like Joana, she's talented and exciting to watch but this time I want her to lose. She changed a lot after relocating in the US.

It's good money. He is past his prime plus his buddy Daniel is fighting in his division.

At least he gets to fight Brock again  Grin

I can also see Conor signing up there when he's done with the UFC and goes bankrupt.

Conor made his money in the fight game and he is running a  successful business and if you have 100 million dollar in the bank he might not be having the same intensity as earlier and the competition is also really tough for him to return. Even in his rise i was skeptical because i felt he never faced many opponents like Frankie Edgar whom i think was a real threat, Chad Mendes faced him in a short notice fight and then he fought for the belt and now talking about coming back after making a lot of money and fight elite competition is tough.

However, Conor was the only fighter to win a round versus Khabib. I reckon that with more focus on training and none on the drink and cocaine, he might give the fans a more competitive fight.
All three judges scored the third round to Conor McGregor but it was a really close round and in that round Khabib wanted to stand with him and bang without going for the take down and the rest of the rounds were hands down mauling as Conor had no answer for his chain wrestling. For someone who likes to party and own a own brand of whiskey it is hard to stop drinking and hence a competitive fight with Khabib is unlikely as Khabib takes him to the ground maul him and then stand with him and not in the first two rounds.

Here is the scorecard

Whoa! it is my first time seeing the score board and by that it is really all for Khabib Nurmagomedov no doubt about it, when I was watching their fight Khabib then launch and started to aim for McGregor's balance, But that time McGregor does hang on to his feet McGregor is really having a hard time back then Khabib really show that he can also do a hard strike against MCGregor and in the end I will never forget how Khabib Nurmagomedov won that by Submission a rare naked choke!

It would've been better if they showed the tape of Waterson vs Herrig as that match showed more of how Waterson improved.  Especially her wrestling.

Anyway I don't think she's a live dog vs JJ.

You will not get time to think in five seconds
That's why I said "instinct".

Quote
and no one is able to catch anyone during that time and that is a fact, it was a perfect plan by Jorge Masvidal and he executed it really well.
When I said "some have done it without taking a direct hit", I was referring to the response of wrestlers to catch and throwdown anyone charging at them and not exactly doing it in five seconds time.

The sequence was so fast and it's probably a wrestlers instinct to catch someone charging at them and throw them down. Some have done it without taking a direct hit.

If you have watched Askren fights, you would have noticed, that he uses only 2 tactics. Mount and gnp or takes back and gnp. The funny thing is - he is a crappy striker.
If you are not able to mount and take the opponent down he cannot do anything and he was a good fighter outside UFC and was successful but when it comes to top level fighter you cannot come up with the same strategy and that happened with Ben Askren, i am waiting for his next fight as his first fight was also another controversial decision.

I watch Askren on the ONE FC and I might say that he was a very good submission artist. He is one of my favorite fighters there that's why I was shocked how fast Masvidal knocked him out. Is it only a human mistake or just the quality of UFC fighters are way different from ONE?

While in full mount or stolen back, strikers usually KO/TKO opponents in half a minute, while Askren in same position land strikes for minutes  Cheesy Dont know how to describe it more correctly - maybe having low knockout power/wrong amplitude/something else...

So Ben Askren will have a chance to prove that he is worthy to be in UFC as he will headline an event in October 26 and its in Singapore.
I was waiting to see his next fight as the last knock out was unexpected and that is the only way you can lure a wrestling based fighter and Jorge Masvidal played the mind games perfectly by holding his hands behind his back and then sprinting towards him and i was really shocked to see the fight ending within seconds.

Ben Askren is a big star in One FC but in UFC, he is not as special as he was treated in One FC. I hope he can redeem himself and ask for a rematch with Jorge Masvidal.
He is a popular fighter in the Asian circuits and he was a champion in Bellator too and UFC has some legit talents than the rest of these promotions and he will be having some tough competition inside UFC.

BTW Ben Askren has been twitting about Bitcoin lately.
Ben Askren is pro crypto from the start and he is an intelligent individual who takes investment seriously.

I think we are up for as massive upset in terms of seeing Masvidal dominating Nate Diaz. Masvidal has created himself this aura of "2 minute killer man" after that flying knee on Askren, he became a meme, both did actually, for different reasons. My point is, he is now in a position where he is seen as a god, and that is just an illusion, marketing. I believe he just got lucky, gambled, and won with that knee into Askren's skull. Those things are very rare. He is going to need a dog fight against Nate Diaz, and I believe Nate is too big, too strong, too thought for Masvidal, but we have constructed this narrative about him after his last fight getting the fastest KO record.

Im pretty sure putting a win for Diaz will be lucrative, we'll have to wait and see. And I also wonder why people say Masvidal is too big for McGregor, if on the faceoff Nate was dwarfing Masvidal and McGregor was able to win the rematch.

Not everyone will try to go legs and start to wrestle with a striker Cheesy
You made me laugh mate lol Grin. Now I suddenly wonder why Askren made his first move with wrestling? Huh I am not a professional to tell this but AFAIK you should make a set up first before doing a take down attempt, right? Like on what Khabib always do, he first try to box and get closer to his opponent then wait for the right timing to wrestle.

So Ben Askren will have a chance to prove that he is worthy to be in UFC as he will headline an event in October 26 and its in Singapore. When he fought Jorge Masvidal at UFC 239, prior to the fight his mouth is unstoppable but on the fight it self, all it takes for Jorge Masvidal is just 5 seconds to shut him up. Ben Askren is a big star in One FC but in UFC, he is not as special as he was treated in One FC. I hope he can redeem himself and ask for a rematch with Jorge Masvidal.

BTW Ben Askren has been twitting about Bitcoin lately.

Well I guess he really needs to prove in his next fight if he is just all hype or he has the talent to back up all those trash talking if he losses again, his stock will go down and could probably go back to One FC wherein he was really dominant.

Opening your mouth is very easy, but if you don't have the tools then no one will take you seriously. Yes it's part of marketing, but if you can't it up, better not trash talk.
