This GSP vs. Khabib again.
GSP is getting older so don't expect him to push himself again to fight at 155. He doesn't need this fight. He is open for it but he would not lose sleep if the fight doesn't materialize due to the weight terms. Khabib, on the other hand, can easily move up in weight to make this happen. I'm pretty sure the contract would have been signed already if only the the fighters, not including UFC and the managers, will talk.

Tony Ferguson is the rightful contender to fight Khabib and we already waited a very long time to see this fight happen, four times this match up got cancelled and this is the fight all the real fans are waiting to see. I am curious to see how Tony will deal with the pressure of Khabib and whether he can pull any BJJ moves on the ground and how Khabib will counter those. Khabib wants to increase his chances of winning. The UFC is favoring his terms and that is understandable because UFC would lose more if GSP defeats Khabib at a catch weight (say 170). GSP isn't interested in a rematch. He just wants to fight one more time and that's it for him whether he wins or loses.
Khabib started this topic of facing GSP as even Khabib considers him as the greatest fighter and the dream scenario will be if GSP cannot cut weight and go down to 155 pounds, he has to return for a couple of fights, challenge the 170 pound champion win the belt and Khabib and GSP battling for the belt at 170 pounds . With or without belt i would like to see this fight but if Khabib has to move up in weight there are many fights everyone would like to watch as there are many worthy contenders. So i am sure Khabib and his management team will make a wise decision on that.

243 this weekend guys! Adesanya's up... Some huge action getting into him. His line went from being a slight underdog at 2.25 down to 1.90ish in two days. I already have action on him the moment it went up at Nitrogen (at 2.24ish then a couple of weeks later at 2.19ish).

I think GSP would be a really good matchup for Khabib but the weight at which the fight would take place is debatable as 170 might favour GSP while 155 would be a very tough weight cut for GSP and favourable for khabib. But no doubt toughest style matchup for Khabib.
All the fans are waiting to see this match up and i hope UFC can make that happen, fun fact is that GSP walks around 190 pounds and Khabib also walks around that weight when he is not fighting but Khabib is not planning to fight GSP above his weight class.If Khabib is not ready to go up in weight class to fight GSP, not sure GSP is willing to come down to 155 pounds either.

MVP is fighting nobodies after his loss to Douglas Lima and i think its bad for his reputation now that he is not undefeated anymore.
Looks like Bellator wants to built a super star in MVP and hence they are giving soft fighters so that they can make highlight reels with every fight, if you check his entire MMA fights he only faced two worthy contenders and even on that he was out cold in one fight. I really liked his fight style and his timing but he is too much cocky even when he defeats nobody, if he fights good legit top ten fighters and stars winning then he can show off after beating them.He is great with submission moves, but not as good as Khabib

The ground skills of Hermansson was great and the only way he could win was if he could trap Cannonier with some leg locks or other sleek locks that we have not seen, to fight him on striking skills we saw the result already as he is a solid striker and powerful too as he is cutting too much weight to get to this division.Anyone watched Bellator 228, i thought it would be an easy win for Gegard Mousasi against Lyoto Machida but i was wrong, it was a really close fight and Mousasi was holding back for a long time and finally it was a close split decision and someone won my bet.
I guess that is what's wrong with Hermansson, He is great with submission moves, but not as good as Khabib, but watching a lockdown win is very entertaining for me so I thought it will be the same as Hermansson and he may win against Cannonier, But thats OK with me as a Khabib fan I guess Hermansson needs more practice to improve his techniques.
Cannonier carries huge power and technical striking in terms of stand up. Hermansson definitely had an advantage on the ground but was unable to take him down. Hence the fight played out in a way that favoured Cannonier as nobody had a significant reach advantage.
I guess I need to move on from this loss, but will certainly still support him and see if he would improve with his techniques against fighters with a huge power output on their strikes, like Cannonier I guess he needs to focus on his defense more, and when the right opportunity comes he can then make his moves fighting in his favor.
Jared Cannonier was to strong for Hermansson.
Jared Cannonier was fighting at light heavyweight and off course he will be too strong for Jack Hermansson but i was expecting some kind of leg lock techniques from Hermansson. Anyone saw the Michael 'Venom' Page fight, he is fighting nobodies and his antics inside the cage is irritating now, the only time he got a legit opponent in Douglas Lima, Page slept inside the cage and Paul Daley went the distance.
Gunnar Nelson is on a loosing streak now, i thought he had the potential to become a good fighter but looks like he is done.
Let's don't lose on this guy, and even though he's gone through that situation right now most probably there's a problem on his training. Hopefully he'd recover sooner on his current career struggles.
