Found this. A ready built mining case for $72 USD.

https://world.taobao.com/item/39828632022.htm?fromSite=main

They even have a prebuilt mining rig with 6x Rx 470D (470D is slightly nerfed from rx 470). I bought an empty case with fans. Shall see how it turns out.

Good find this Kayden. I will try and get a unit over too.

I usually order from Aliexpress, trying to create account in Taoboa.com but its all in Chinese  Roll Eyes

Any luck in ordering this? Shipping doesn't seem overly straightforward, so I'm a little nervous about pulling the trigger

I am talking to my contacts who has a local forwarder to help me get 1 test unit.

Taobao is the domestic "Aliexpress" for China market, so shipping to be extended overseas may have an issue.

what is this "brake pedal" you speak of?
@phil

what are you currently running -decri at for dual mining with eth/decr?

im at -decri 60 for my stock 390, went from 29.6 to 28.9 so not much of a drop. cdm 8.0, -ethi 12, win7, G1840 cpu, 8 gb ram

the 470s drop a lot with increasing -decri but the 390 holds on longer.

segwit is a terrible idea.  it would really hurt alt coins if it works.

it would also allow for huge theft of btc since transactions would go on off the books.
...
snip
...
I am looking to increase alt coin transactions.  I am promoting alt coins  as the cars and trucks even buses that drive on the btc super highway.

I actually like to think bitmain moved in this direction by going for BU rather then Segwit.

I think segwit will cause a showdown of BTC vs all other coins  and I do not think that is a wise thing to do.

My group's s9 farm is spread over gbminers and viabtc pools ; and both of them have already flagging BU.

The Avalons A721 farm; some are at kano and some moving around at gbminers and viabtc.

After reading into Segwit and the what the Core team wants to do... IMHO, this kind of fork will surely impact the upcoming ETF and how BTC will chart higher in 2017 and beyond.

Right now  BTC- ALTcoin  setup is working.

Alt coins are really growing.

For BTC to directly attack altcoin/gpu world  is dumb.

I think bitmain has figured this out. Which is why they switched to BU support.

If you read what segwit allows I can see Josh GAW-Zen mining all over again.

I like the highway= btc   cars trucks buses = alt coins  analogy a lot.

The highway needs to be clean safe visible yada yada yada

If someone wants to drive on the highway in a car packed with whatever well thats what XMR is for.

Yes agreed - even Bitmain is now selling LTC/Scrypt ASICS.... and I was not surprised that even Pandaminers are selling to further expand GPU mining. It wont be long, when AMD will release a "mining card"....

Btw, this is a good read from viabtc website on why they chose BU.

finally it attacks.

AMD
INTEL
NVIDIA
CORSAIR
EVGA
SEASONIC
ANTEC
FSP
MSI
ASUS
GIGABYTE
ASROCK

many other pc companies.

basically it is pro asic anti gpu

if it was to work correctly  it would allow lots more transactions  in btc thus eliminating alt coin transactions. pr at least reducing alt coin transactions.

ZEC has  a market cap of 35 million  which means  intel or amd or nvidia can boost its price  up easily   buying some coin.

Its like a rebate program for miners.

and if zec dies  amd can develop WTF coin when needed.

I see a very good balance  with a small tweak like BU.  Segwit is a moron move  bound to lay the cryptocoin world to waste.

Just wanted to report back on the Baikal Mini Miner that I have had almost 1 week now.  This little thing really rocks!  It was BY FAR the easiest mining-related equipment to set up and get running that I've ever had! Literally... just plug in the power and LAN cable, log in to its web interface and amend the already listed pools for your user names, and BAM, you're good to go!

Since that initial config, I have not had to do anything with it for a week!  Only check my returns, which in fact, have been very close to what the calculators say... about .05 to .06 Dash per day. Just got my first payout of .25 Dash yesterday and went to my exchange wallet with no issues.  So, as things are now, that equates to about 2 Dash per month, which at current prices would ROI this thing in about 100 days.  I would totally be down to get at least 1 more of these but now Baikal is out of stock and the secondary market prices are simply ridiculous... most are at least 2x the $300 retail price!

Always nice to read someone scores on some  gear.

I am very interested in the Baikal miners.  Thank you for the information!!

The current 25GHs Baikal farm I am hosting for my team is pointed for rent/selling at Nicehash.

Incredible returns... I mean it's ridiculous how much people pay to rent X11 hash. I wonder why?

Latest additions, the Baikal X11 900MHs Giant miner... (using a S7 PSU to power 5 x Giants)

I've been wanting to get a couple of these!
So is it worth the time and money??

My AR-15 ID's itself as a toaster. Want breakfast?
Slightly off topic here. Is anyone following the bitcoin SegWit vs. BU debate? Does anyone run a node on any of their mining machines? Is that a bad idea that I can't see?

I have multiple machines running 24/7. I could be casting multiple votes...

I was surprised the other day to see Antpool already signalling BU instead of Segwit.

F2Pool is still BIP9....

I dont think there is a voting process per se; only mining pools to "signal" their preference.

If you ask me;  the core team shot themselves in the feet many times over.  I just leave it at that.

I watched a video about how nodes (not pools/miners) can trigger a soft fork for SegWit instead of the hard fork needed for BU.

I'm not sure exactly which I would 'vote' for, exactly, but I was mostly questioning whether running the bitcoin node software on a mining rig would not be wise.
