Although your idea is good but yet, I still do not think it is a good thing to have all your investment in only one coin, it is better for you to diversify. I believe if we can put in fresh cash in crypto and not moving one coin to another, then the market can take a new turn and the bull run will start.
Bitcoin is an old and tired lady, there is a time in which the market starts considering that it should no longer be the leader and when that happens I don´t want to be there.
maybe your mean is bitcoin will be replaced by another coin ? or could it be with a new coin ? and if that happens it seems like the crypto world will not appeal to investors anymore. because their king has been replaced

The price of the bitcoin now are increasing and I think after few months bitcoin will recover again. I hope more bitcoin will buy for this month. Time to invest again to bitcoin and you will earn more money. More bitcoin more profit.

I think i am so late for the moving to bitcoin. My alt coins lost their 50% of value on last 1 month. I think I have to wait now.

I think to have a bull market up-coming is the best way to move all the money that you have in altcoins to bitcoin, because with market dominance of Bitcoin the market will go green, and the bull run with start, as far as I am concerned from the previous experience of the bull run more than 55% bitcoin was dominant in the market.

The market is green now as I am posting this reply and I am hoping that this time Bitcoin can be able to clobbered the psychological barrier level of $7000 though I doubt if this can happen within this month as the trend is definitely doing the dizzying see-saw. The news is that there is institutional money that came in which push back the value of Bitcoin somewhere in the $6,600 - $6,700 level and whether that news is just made up or not still thanks for it since it resulted into a minor spike. The question I have in my mind is: Can Bitcoin be able to reach back the $10K level before the year 2018 ends?

This is actually what I am doing right now. Since I can see there is a potential of a bull run from this day onwards, I am selling most of my altcoins to convert it into bitcoin as well. I still have few altcoins left which I think were worth hodling for a long term.
I think that during the bull rally it is more profitable to invest in alternative coins, because they give much more profit than bitcoin. But in order not to make a mistake you need to diversify your risks and invest in bitcoin as well as in alternative coins.
