Am around for next couple of hours if people want to submit lightning loan applications.
Am going to be on limited internet hours over the next five days - will be back around this time Monday my time (GMT +10) I'll be looking in for a few minutes at a time, but can't guarentee any transactions in next 120 hours. (and still hunting for BBcode count down that I can use here)

I tried sending a small Testnet Lightning payment to my (online) wallet on https://htlc.me/, and that too didn't work. I am slightly disappointed 
I won't be online again for another twelve hours - when I got home I wasn't able to connect to bCT as it was in a type of maintenance mode.

I don't think the forum supports it. Maybe an animated GIF could work as a count down, but a new one has to be created at each refresh, and browser cache will probably mess it up anyway.Quote

When Electrum starts supporting LN, that's what I'm going to use more often. I just read something that indicates they are working on this for their next major release.
Before I forget and you start tagging me, @Timelord, give me a payment request thingy code and I'll send it over. I'm using the Lightning Labs testnet wallet I found on Google Play, it's the purple looking wallet, seems to have worked, I don't see any option to set 6 hours or anything, but maybe that's because it's on autopilot? Not sure.
I think we may have just stumbled upon what will some day be a third layer. If bitcoin transactions are the first layer, and Lightning is one (of many possible) second layers, asynchronous transactions would be a third layer. Or it just might depend on the particular wallet or some other centralized service, which, if it works like ElectrumX servers still be somewhat decentralized. Or something like all these "instant messaging" apps now, where you send a message to a server, it will eventually find its way to the other side when they turn on their phone or app.

Can I get a LighTning TesTnet Loan? I sometimes had a hard time sending just 10,000 satoshi with on-chain LN, and I'm curious to see if this is less of a problem with LN. My theory is that Testnet channels get funded with higher amounts, and I "bought" liquidity from the node too.
If I'm right, Testnet works better. And if that's the case, I'm hoping LN's problems will get less once channels get funded with higher amounts.
