I personally am still afraid to invest with Bitcoin fork coins, I prefer other Altcoins like BNB or LTC. Instead of investing with Bitcoin fork coins, it's better to invest with Bitcoin which has a stronger foundation and their community. But the choice in your hands.

in my opinion bitcoin cash can be a hot asset this year. starting from the pump that occurred at the end of January, and now back down again. but it is a sign that bitcoin cash can go higher. I don't think it's easy to choose Bictoin Cash as another option for investment.

Here is my own investment advice but not to be taken very seriously because anything can happen in crypto space...

I think the best altcoins you can invest on in crypto space are bitcoin forks, they are very responsive to bitcoin movement and their All Time High is very good too, one for thing is these coins have their halving coming this very year as well

1. Bitcoin Gold
2. Bitcoin Diamond
3. Bitcoin Cash
4. Lightening Bitcoin
5. Bitcoin Private

These coins have their use cases and they offer better performance compare to their king ( Bitcoin ) and their team are very active as well, looking at the past chart of Jan 2018 these coins ATH are massive, buying now means buying at extremely cheap price, they are jumpy, active , responsive to Bitcoin Movement and their Halving is happening this 2020 as well.

Please do not hesitate to do your own research and go through their whitepapers, these are no new projects, they have proven their existence already, thank you
I don't think like that because do you remember in 2017 when BCD etc bitcoin forks seemed to be manipulating the market and the price suddenly dropped? it was intentional
so in my opinion bitcoin fork is not a good coin to be used for long term trading but if you look at it from the point of view of transaction cost performance etc. maybe bitcoin fork is definitely better than bitcoin

I think the coins you mentioned above have not been able to defeat Bitcoin and will never be able to because they are all created from HF Bitcoin, but to buy at the current price is very good and just waiting for halving to occur and get profits
The Op is not talking about a coin superseding bitcoin but rather a list of a coin that offers a good return on investment if traded. I do not know reason why he has selected this but I think base on his claim that they are fork coins, their price might go up anytime as it has happened before and also due to the upcoming halving, he is believing they might be one of those coins that can undergo high price. I think this is mere speculation and I do not see those coin listed special to some of the altcoin such as xrp and eth

I'm still confused about the title of your thread and its relation to the content of the thread.
Well, actually, it is normal to feel scared. To overcome this situation, only choosing the trusted altcoins may be a good decision. But, should it be only the coins from Bitcoin forks? Are they really worth it to invest or trade? So far, I love some altcoins that have a great value and worth to invest, such as ETH and some altcoins that really have real use case.

-snip- they are very responsive to bitcoin movement and their All Time High is very good too, -snip-
Do you think other altcoins not very responsive to bitcoin movement? And how do you determine good or bad ATH?
We know that all altcoins commonly respond quickly related to the improvement of Bitcoin, except stable coins. The simple thing that we can when the Bitcoin value rises, all altcoins usually follow the trend. And regarding the ATH, I think all coins have good ATH, especially top altcoins.

Why invest on Bitcoin forks when you have Bitcoin which is more reliable that them? When you say Altcoin investment then you will go for something that follows Bitcoin movements but exceeds the percentage of what Bitcoin can do since it is cheaper than Botcoin. The profit that it can bring you will be better that those vokns that only follows the prices and percentage of Bitcoin. Look for Altcoins that will give you higher profits but expect higher risk.

Bitcoin, altcoin, or coins from bitcoin fork, all have risks, it makes no difference. Of course, there are some things that make it more special. The key is to analyze and get the right timing for buy, hold and sell. Studying the previous history is also important to strengthen the analysis and so as not to miss a moment. Like right now, I think it's the right time to buy some other strong BTC and altcoin, and follow the mini Bullrun before halving. Is history always repeated? no one knows until it actually happens, so it doesn't hurt to get ready.

Any one that has fear to invest should avoid crypto currency investments

That aside, any investment should not be planned on the bitcoin halving, you must have an alternative info that such token has chances of success even after bitcoin halving

Continue your researches and ensure the token is not dependent on only bitcoin halving to moon

I join the first who answered you in this thread. I do not see any difference between the forks of bitcoins and alternative coins.
Bitcoin is a kind of core, the main coin around which everything revolves. All Bitcoin forks are only miserable parodies, while some alternative coins have really great potential in terms of the future blockchain technology.
I have the same impression. There are a lot of promising altcoins and if we are talking about bitcoin, then you only need to invest in the one that Satoshi Nakamoto created.

Well it is indeed right to be sacred at most altcoins when taking into account the number of them that keeps coming up everyday. Contrary to your list, in my own way I find it more welcoming going for other major altcoins like XLM, ETH, BNB and so on than these once you just listed. These major altcoins I referred to, at least to an extent we have seen their ways of aiming for more growth and almost everyone knows or holds them. As these Bitcoin forks hardly have I seen where it is highly discussed and so on. Am not trying to counter your opinion but rather am just stating mine..

There is such an option, sometimes I also make investments in Bitcoin Cash and it turns out to make good money, but somehow I didn’t work with the other forks of Bitcoin and I don’t really want to, but I’ve been familiar with Bitcoin Cash for several years now and constantly invest in Bitcoin Cash.

If I think not all Bitcoin forks we can rely on to invest because besides Bitcoin is very difficult to rely on, then if I prefer an altcoin that already has the potential when compared to the current bitcoin fork, eg ETH, BNB was Very good for us to invest because price movements can be seen for now, so if I prefer an altcoin that has potential in comparison of Bitcoin forks.

All bitcoins on your list are shit. And those who have invested in it will certainly receive defeat. Take a look at the charts of these altcoins, the price drops too much and there is no volume. Stay away from these projects as far as possible if you don't want to lose money

If you only wanted to play safe with alt-coins why not go to the famous one's like ETH second greatest crypto and always on the top list.
XRP,DASH and also LTC who have also proven their existence and doesn't go out of the top listed crypto?
They are much more better than those Bitcoin Forks.

Bitcoin is the safest coin to invest your money on and if you want to take further risks then go for BCH and ETH, they are still better, I know Bitcoin gold brings huge profit in 2017 but can this repeat itself again? that's hard to answer I guess
Investment in bitcoin is not totally safe because there's still a risk. Whether you go with Bitcoin, Ethereum and BCH all of them have the same risk and if you don't want to take those kinds of risk maybe invest your money in a stable coin. We totally don't know if the top altcoin will repeat again it's ATH in the market. I'm not scared to go with altcoin but I'm scared if I will not use my money in a good investment that's why I prefer to invest it in top-performing altcoins such us Binance coin, Ethreum, and Ripple. All the altcoins that you have mentioned I don't have them and maybe I will do more research about them so if I have chances to invest I will grab it. And, I guess they also have great potential in the future so let's see what will gonna happen to them.

if you did good research on the potential of these Bitcoin forks then go for it, it's your money anyway, but I do not support these forks I consider them altcoins like Dogecoin and Litecoin, they do have potential but it still depends on how investors look at them.

I don't believe now to the coins in the bitcoin fork because the real high profit is coming from the bitcoin and now are really happening right now. Altcoins too Are best to invest right now but only few because they have coin who are remain the price or not increasing even the market is good.

Being scared of investing is not good for me you know why ? Because you need to take a risk to have a good return in right investment.
You need to be wise and careful choosing the coins to support as there are too many projects that being offered around. The chance of getting huge profits coming from this business is still possible if you will continue doing your research and not to allow yourself to follow your emotions. Best to keep sorting and observing every potential project before picking your investment.

I don’t think that your theory about bitcoin forks being the best coins to invest is correct. There are many promising projects nowadays. But personally I have Bitcoin cash and Bitcoin gold in my portfolio. So, no, I am not scared to go for altcoins, I just disagree with your top 5 list.
