Aside Lightening Bitcoin and bitcoin private, others made the top 100 altcoin, which prove the size of the cap. It is easy to attract big investors as coin on top 100 than any other coin and they get easy list on top exchanges. The top exchanges bring liquidity and volume. They also have opportunity to raise a big community, however, they cant replace bitcoin but can be a good investment at the moment.

Wow, I imagine I still have a ton of Bitcoin fork coins in my wallet waiting to be claimed (except BCash cause I sold that all right away) but even if they all ATH I wouldn't be looking for them, since I don't even have 1 BTC for them to be claimed;)

But hmm, what amount of USD would you guys consider worth to go through the hassle of claiming those forks?

I don't believe now to the coins in the bitcoin fork because the real high profit is coming from the bitcoin and now are really happening right now. Altcoins too Are best to invest right now but only few because they have coin who are remain the price or not increasing even the market is good.

Being scared of investing is not good for me you know why ? Because you need to take a risk to have a good return in right investment.

Here is my own investment advice but not to be taken very seriously because anything can happen in crypto space...

I think the best altcoins you can invest on in crypto space are bitcoin forks, they are very responsive to bitcoin movement and their All Time High is very good too, one for thing is these coins have their halving coming this very year as well

1. Bitcoin Gold
2. Bitcoin Diamond
3. Bitcoin Cash
4. Lightening Bitcoin
5. Bitcoin Private

These coins have their use cases and they offer better performance compare to their king ( Bitcoin ) and their team are very active as well, looking at the past chart of Jan 2018 these coins ATH are massive, buying now means buying at extremely cheap price, they are jumpy, active , responsive to Bitcoin Movement and their Halving is happening this 2020 as well.

Please do not hesitate to do your own research and go through their whitepapers, these are no new projects, they have proven their existence already, thank you
Well everyone has a freedom to choose what altcoins they like to buy and hold especially in this season that the market is slowly climbing up. Most of the altcoins are green so you will have difficulties in choosing the best altcoins that will give you the best return in the long run.

Your suggestions are good but as what I have notice these are the altcoins that almost doubled it's base price in less than two months. XRP,Litecoin,BNB and Monero.

I think that if there is a repeat of the crazy bullish movement of Bitcoin, then a new boom in altcoins will follow. Then you can buy absolutely any coin and get a profit. Because the market will be pumped very hard to attract new hamsters.

You missed backing this claims up with good proofs. I think the safer, more decentralized,  and useful one among them is probably the what I would pick if given the option to choose any of those.
So how do we determine which one of them fits  my criteria. We probably need to refer to the important ideals of Bitcoin/crypto to determine which coin is closer to the ideals. If crypto stuff are rated this way, you won't "derail" too much when looking for safe & useful projects.

It is better to invest in bitcoin rather than in bitcoin fork because we don't know if that coins could really increase like bitcoin price or not. If you choose bitcoin, then you will see the profit from bitcoin will be bigger because once bitcoin moves, the price has a chance to increase higher.

But if you feel that you better invest in the bitcoin fork coins, then you should be careful and don't spend too much money if you are not sure. You need to analyze more to find if that coin will have the potential to increase or not.

There, I've fixed it.
Bitcoin forks are speculative coins with no real added value and sooner or later you can face bad surprises, especially if you choose to HOLD.
If you want to go into altcoins, choose proper coins with proper development and good ideas. For example my small investment into Monero has paid off until now.
Bitcoin fork coins indeed not a good long term investment because as you said they have no real added value but you can use Bitcoin fork coins as a short term investment. We can make profit by trading daily with Bitcoin fork coins. Monero, BNB, LTC Is another Altcoin that we can choose.

The question is why are they bitcoin forks and ever since they have been created what has been the positive things they brought up? I think they are just copying one or two things from Bitcoin because if truly they are far better or offer better value they would have beaten BTC for long. In my own view, I see those coins are altcoins too and instead of going for them I rather stick to the likes of ETH and XLM. Seriously developers should focus on bringing something unique and different than what is known, only then will their project last the test of time.

LOL, did you know that some of them are prone to 51% attack? So how can you invest on that fork coin?
Exactly. Bitcoin gold is the perfect example of it.

Bitcoin Gold hit by 51% attacks, $72K in cryptocurrency double-spent

Bitcoin Gold 51% Attacked - Network Loses $70,000 in Double Spends

Generalizing bitcoin forks, I don't think it's a very good idea. Yes, they might be reactive now but we don't know how long this will exist or until when they'll be like this.

And besides, if you really wanted to invest, then go for the original and not those clone coins. And the people behind those fork coins are very shady so how can you put your trust on someone who claim to be Satoshi and Roger Ver And Jihan Wu who used to be a Bitcoin proponent then suddenly turn their backs because they are too greedy? If someone wanted to invest on alts then perhaps Ethereum is good start or even BNB.

But Bitcoin forks coin? Nah!

This is the worst  possible way to advertise your supported coins.
Backstabbing bitcoin for your own profit in a bitcoin community?
You could be better than that.

I will be more intrigued with all those coins if you say good shits about it. But with this statement? Nah, thank you.
There are better ones than this with real supporters. Real human investors and not just an imaginary number made by them.
Say goodbye to your money later on.

I dont think bitcoin fork can offer better than what bitcoin can give , for me bitcoin fork is the same as other altcoin and no special  thing other than its a fork of bitcoin and use the name of bitcoin.
In terms of use cases eth and xrp is better than other fork you listed but xrp is centralised , they are also following the movement of bitcoin BTW.
I refuse to accept your thoughts, these forks offer better performance in features, speed, fees and they implement few other things that bitcoin can never have so yes its true that these forks can do better, I'm not sure of BSV but the few ones OP mentioned are good
But the market is not on these Bitcoin fork, it's true that they offer speed and lower fees but unfortunately investors and the whole community are very much into Bitcoin, take a look at Bitcoin's dominance, altcoins and these forks has a lot of catching up to do.

All forks are altcoins so the dominance point of yours is pointing to all of them together, what OP mean is once altcoin season returns these forks will bring massive ROI than bitcoin itself, Bitcoin Cash ATH was a thousands plus and BCG and BCD too were in three figures, that's massive compare to what you can every get from bitcoin

Bitcoin is the safest coin to invest your money on and if you want to take further risks then go for BCH and ETH, they are still better, I know Bitcoin gold brings huge profit in 2017 but can this repeat itself again? that's hard to answer I guess

I mean term of use cases,  if its only in transaction speed then xrp is much better than fork listed there and for low transaction fee both eth and xrp have a low transaction fees. If thats the only fork of bitcoin can offer we have already in the market better than what they have.

I also consider these Bitcoin forks as altcoins like Litecoin and Dogecoin because they have the same algo like Bitcoin and they are just a copy of the original Cryptocurrency, I am more inclined to support tokens like Ethereum and Binance coin because of their platform and usage they offer a lot of things in the table.

1. Bitcoin Gold
2. Bitcoin Diamond
3. Bitcoin Cash
4. Lightening Bitcoin
5. Bitcoin Private

[...]

Still the center of attention is bitcoin and the other BCHs are still below that and the range is still good for other altcoins in my opinion.
Look Ethereum is now soaring better and has already redeemed $ 250 that means that altcoin is still hopeful for investment. I need to pay attention to this coin because in 24 hours this coin goes up quite high.
