My vote would be on Litecoin LTC and Monero XMR.

LTC is the conceived as the silver to bitcoin’s gold. Created by former Google employee, Charlie Lee, LTC will be an everyday coin so it will have a more mainstream use.
On the other hand, XMR much like bitcoin, Montero's creator is anonymous. With Monero, the details of every transaction, including sender, receiver and size, are recorded on a public ledger, but are obfuscated to reportedly make them untraceable. Animosity simple appeals to many.

Yes If you don't like you can buy Onions after Airdrop the price is low.
You can sell it the period before Airdrop there's more demand the price is high so you can sell it.

Highest ROI crypto infrastructure

Technology-wise Stratis is a great pick, but they fail to sell the success to the community. Same with ARK. Both projects are impressive, but I won't invest in them as long as I want to be very long term in it.

My best picks for 2018 are:

- VeChain > RFID, supply chain management, counterfeit protection
- IoT Chain (ITC) > It could be the next IOTA; Technology looks great; No product yet; also DAG blockchain
- ETHlend > Lending business is huge in US
- Elixir > the much smaller and much riskier alternative of Lending "coins"
- ICON (ICX) > My guts telling me they will become a behemoth in crypto world, but no product yet; just a great whitepaper and team
- WanChan > Trying to build a financial system around all cryptos; yet another project, which wants to make payment and transactions around all cryptos easier; hype is pretty big around it, Whitepaper looks great
- Ontology Network

..and Envion. Noone has it on its radar. Project might seem boring to you, but this is a great idea with an awesome team

I'd say NEO, PIVX, STRAT. These are my top altcoins. NEO is going to skyrocket in 2018, imo. A lot of development is going. PIVX is privacy coin, PoS. 2018 will be definitely year of STRAT. Just check their roadmap many features coming next year.

I saw that, very interesting with what is happening with XRP, I guess this pump will result to a sudden dump also soon.
The volume is too huge and when whales will dump this will create a pump, I cannot predict what will happen in the future but that is my opinion.
