i think yes it's worth to investing for any reasons , first the tron have a good team and in the past months was already developed and get more popular , a good choose for long-term investment.

In most exchange platform, tron was always listed in there. So I think it is one of the good altcoins to invest in now then hold in long term as well.

It is not a bad coin I think. There have been news about some mismanagement in the team behind the project but I hope things would be settled by now. In addition, it is the list for good coins in the market which means that it has gotten demand and that means there is chances for rise in the market value of the coin so yeah, go for it.
