Has anyone projected futures contracts for BTC over the next 5 to 10 years?

It's always has been the rule that is applicable to all things not just Bitcoin. The "trusty ones" get burned and learn, those that don't keep banging their head against the brick wall

Slowly, with the help of threads like this, I will eventually feel confident about my Bitcoin knowledge.
I hope.

Sadly given the nature of BTC the OP has some good points but its a shame it has to be this way but then again the anonymity of BTC is one of the strengths of the currency. I would like to see more trust amongst men but to do that we have to eliminate those or who are not willing to participate. Smiley

The biggest trust issue I have so far encountered is with exchanges. Converting between bitcoin and national currencies when exchanges are all (to varying degrees) a bit hard to have much confidence in is really going to limit adoption.

Unfortunately, from my experience, everyone is going to mess up. No one's perfect. Things happen. All we can do is our best; and we have to gage those who can do their best through experience, knowledge, and track record... even then, sh*t happens! Sad

As I read this with my Gucci tinfoil hat on I nod my head in approval with the OP.

It's amazing how irrational you become when the adrenaline starts kicking in. Remain cool and calm, plan for the long haul.

I'm going to keep coming back to this post as time goes on so I can remind myself of this when I'm riding the waves of Bitcoin to keep a level head.

Thanks.

Also, when selling a service make sure you get 50% up front.
When you have positive feedback the people who wont pay the 50% are the ones that usually don't pay anyway Tongue
