hash rate definitely higher with 2.20. Using intensity 16/17 im seeing higher lows on pool side and an overall bump in shares from .11 per block to .12

great work thank you  Cheesy

Any way to add a CPU priority setting 1-5 like crypto dredge? Would be great.  Thanks for your hard work on this!  Love the miner.

Thanks - happy if you like the miner.
So what is the effect you are locking for? Do you want to mine while doing other work on you PC?

Thanks for the reply!  No I actually want to prioritize the miner above other system processes.  I found that on cryptodredge this was helpful, as setting the miner's CPU priority at max level actually made the hash rate a little better as well as resulted in less rejected shares.  Probably just from less switching between processes for CPU.  Would be awesome if it helped the same way here.  If it's relatively easy to implement, it would definitely add value!!  Let us know if you think its possible Smiley

Ah - got it. I hope your rejected rate with TT is not that high? Anyway I can add a switch to set the miner to a higher priority in the next release.

Thanks.

Yeah rejected shares are not high at all but thought it was worth a try to see if hashrate improves a little bit.  Saw you added it to the new release.  I'll give it a go and report back!  Thx again bro!

Guys! who can explain me how it work?)) i have 3 rigs 1080ti (6 card each). use new build 2.2.0, each rig ~22 mh (66total). mining on 2miners XZC, my result very different http://joxi.ru/DmBZLBaHw0xp0m it's after 6h work. max what i saw 60mh current hashrate) what happened?)) i new on this coin, all other coin what i mined before - results coincided

Thank you for your help with my idiot question)

Hi,

there are no idiot questions . only idiot answers. What you see is the 3 hours average. If you check that from time to time you will see this value going up and down. You can see that in the chart 2miners provide. You can also try mintpond to verify - I think they use a fast average. You will also see the average fluctuating up and down. If you use -lick as command line option the miner shows you a session luck value. If that is @ 100 % the miner finds as much shares as expected for the printed hashrate. This can become lower if you have rejected shares, which have more impact on pools with higher diff than it have on pools with a lower diff.

Please let me know if that helps - or if you have more questions.

well i tested  2.2.0 build around 24 hours with intensity 16 average hashrates on mintpond is more or less same as with older build, i will try intensity 15 today as well, mintpond has very high luck in last couple of days, today luck was 135% (that means you get around 35% less than whattomine calculator says) last 3 days 125%, mined only 0.47 zcoins in 24 hours, i will try zergpool today, and then f2pool which have 5% fee but pps payment system (it pays more or less same everyday, matters only your hashrate and network difficulty, no luck involved)
well i'm testing zergpool today, it has 0.5% fee but quite low total hashrate (only 1.2gh/s), with newer 2.2.0 build now i have intensity 15 and it's working much faster, gridsize is around 7000+ GTX1080Ti and around 5000+ GTX1080, average miner hashrate is 14.4-14.5 mh/sec now, no slowdowns with teamviewer, i will check results after 24 hours of mining, maybe test f2pool also

default settings fails on pure 1070 rigs , mixed , 1060 6gb , 1070ti works fine with default settings

powerlimits 80% , default clocks and im taking my words back 1070ti behaving wonky too on defaults , got 1070 working with -i 15  , looking at 1070tis

Check your OC setting.  Mine have mixed of 1070 & 1080 and default (i-15) or i-16 works as expected.

@TrailingStop
Can you add a new option to NOT submit stale shares?

1080ti with new version (2.2.0)  don't work, 719 error, i try set -i 17, as writed in windows. but it don't help.
Ussual work 2-3 cards on 6 card rig.
settings +500 memory. +50 clock, 80 pl
differents cards

UPD, try 2.1.19 all okey, will test)
UPD 2: 2.2.0 work if use -i 17, good results

Hey. How can I set the complexity of the shares in the miner? I extract xzc for 2miners, there is a complexity of 0.125, and in the miner more than 500 are installed. Because of this, I find few shares and the miner periodically disconnects from the pool. Embarrassed

Hi,

unfortunately the difficulty is a function that the pool sets. Some pools (MintPond) allow you to 'suggest' a diff, but not all - 2miners do not. TT-Miner converts this diff into a hashrate so that you can get an idea what 0.125 mean for you. If you use the -luck option you can that how long it will take in the long average until you will find a share.

Version 2.2.0 have now a default intensity of 15. On my system I can get much higher hashrates with 16, but this values seems to be too high for some systems. To make TT-Miner working on most system I reduced this value down to 15. As a result I strongly recommend that you at least try an intensity of 16 or even more to get higher hashrates (command line: -i 16). This if for MTP only!

Miner madest reported that he gets very good results with grid size of 10240 and a core OC of 50. He gets 3.67 MH/s with his 1080Ti @ PL 85%, core 90, mem 0.

To specify this setting please add -gs 10240 to your command line - and please do not forget to remove the intensity option, this will not work together with -gs.

When setting a custom gridsize, does the number need to be a factor of 4?  (or 8,16,32,64,etc.)?  I notice that 10240 (as well as the default gridsize 4864) is divisible evenly by 4.

Hi,

I have never tested uneven number, but in I suggest in general values that are a multiple of 32 or better 64 for grid size since they have proven to work very well.

well after few hours of mining avarage pool hashrate is around 17mh/sec, miner hashrate is 14.8-14.9mh/sec, stale shares % max 1%, i will continue testing in longer period, well last 2 days mintpond has very bad luck so earnings dropped even with lower network difficulty

btw lower intensity means lower resource used? (ram , cpu , electricity)

Yes- easy speaking. You just use less threads at a time. That means - in the best case - also less hashrate. So that DOES NOT mean that the highest thread count gives you highest hashrates!!!!

well i will test older version with intensity 16 at least 24 hours, then try newer intensity 15 version as well, just need to test at least 24 hours for stability and average pool daily hashrate, i somehow think that intensity 15 will have better stability and less demanding for my rig let's see

I hope stability is the same for both. 16 have surly higher memory demands than 15, but offers (on my system with a 1070) some percent more hashrate - not just 20 MH/s more. But you are right to make some long term test to find out about stability of the system - and hashrate @ pool.
Please report if you have some results.

Thanks for your support!
