PAOK is a Greek team, we don't understand why you said that. Of course the championship will be between three teams again. The other teams have no chance. A few Anatolian clubs have been champions in recent years, but those were extreme cases. This year, considering Galatasaray's saturation and underperformance, the race seems to be between two teams. Beşiktaş, which has gotten stronger with their new transfers, and Fenerbahçe, which has changed coaches again and hopes for a different result this time. In last few years, we are having good development in Super League and teams are investing funds for improving their quality and having better performance in UEFA events things like these are going to be good for the league and Turkey because now it is good time for them to having improved ranking in UEFA where they are standing at the 9th and can do better in coming years with their improved quality and performance.

It seems Turkish league will be very strong this season judging from all the Turkish sides in the UEFA Euro League and Conference League qualifications. All of them won their respective matches and even Istanbul Basaksehir defeated SP La Fiorita of San Marino in a goal aggregate of [10-1] which was outrageous. I am anxious to see what the various teams will bring to the table when the league finally starts. I want to see if there will be any new addition to the usual big teams such as PAOK, Galatasaray, Basiktas and Fenerbahce.

I'm still wondering what happened to Galatasaray in the game against Beşiktaş. Losing is always part of a game. All teams can lose at some point, but conceding 5 goals during a game is not normal, especially since they were playing with 11 players until the 87th minute. There were many terrible events for Galatasaray that happened in this game.

1 - First strange and terrible event: they conceded a goal 1 minute into the game. I might even think it was normal for them to concede a goal 10 or 30 minutes into the game, but 1 minute into the game? That's not normal. I was wondering what position there was regarding VAR in the match played yesterday.

Galatasaray were terrible. I expected them to lose but not like this. 5-0 is a big embarrassment. Okan Buruk's comments on the match were ridiculous. He even intended to blame Zaha who played for 15-20 minutes. But the biggest fault belongs to the board of course. They were too late to sign the needed players. Gabriel Sara has just arrived after the match for example. You should always finish the primary transfers early. 

By the way Nelsson was terrible. This isn't the first time he is doing this kind of unbelievable things. I believe a better centre-back can be found to replace him.

I really admired Rafa Silva last season. Although he was 30+, he still had amazing contribution with goals + assists.    I'm still surprised how Beşiktaş got him so easily. I thought there would be others to intervene.

Now we have few hours left in this Super Cup as Galatasaray is going to face well organized and fully changed Besiktas things are looking tense before this game because there are serious concerns about Galatasaray defense issues as they are conceding goals things are looking not good for them because they need to be sorted out this before it creates problems for them in this season while we have Fenerbahçe and Besiktas at their best for having challenging season.

In last few games, Galatasaray easily outclass Besiktas, but now we have good improvement into squad, and they are investing good amount for having quality players which will surely going to have good impact on their performance and this could be not easy for the Galatasaray to have win in this game and upcoming matches as Super League is going to have first game on 9th August between Galatasaray vs Hatayspor.

Tomorrow night is the Super Cup match.
It will be played between Galatasaray the last champion of the Super League and Beşiktaş the last champion of the Turkish Cup.
My favorite is Galatasaray but it's hard to say for sure because it's a derby.

Fenerbahçe fans have raised their expectations too much, which is natural after Jose Mourinho came. As a result of the Lugano match, they won the home and away matches without any problems. In the Lille match, Fenerbahçe seems to have a hard time against Lille due to the problems they have in the defense line.

I am betting on fenerbahce at outrights, they have good odds and I think they will manage it. Plus, they haven't won it for a long time now, and making a huge go at it, to finally get it this year. I am sensing that they could actually do it this year without a doubt.

Everyone knows Mourinho with his solid defensive tactics. But the first official matches of his Fenerbahçe career showed the opposite. Fenerbahçe conceded 4 goals from Lugano in two games. Of course, Fenerbahçe can concede 4 goals in two games under Mourinho. But Lugano was an easy opponent for them on paper.

These matches gave me an idea before the new season. Fenerbahçe are entering into a new structure with Mourinho. But Galatasaray will start the league with the same squad that has been champion for the last two seasons. I think Galatasaray have a huge advantage. I think Galatasaray will be the biggest favorite this season. Galatasaray will play with the system they are used to, while Fenerbahce will have problems with tactical plans.
