8 minutes into the match, Inter immediately didn't want time to be wasted, the opportunity in front of their eyes was immediately put to good use and produced a goal. The match was quite intense for AC Milan who needed to be vigilant. The next 2 minutes the goal was created again very easily. The defense, which has many gaps, is clearly visible. Inter seemed to have won this match before it ended.

AC Milan vs Inter Milan - one thing is positive, an Italian team will play in the final of the Champions League. The last time Juventus Turin played vs Real Madrid in 2017 and lost 4:1. The last time an Italian team win the CL was in year 2010: Inter Milan against Bayern Munich, result 2:0. An another interesting statistic: When Real Madrid is in the final, they always won. Today i was betting on Inter Milan, they won all the last 5 games.

Inter now have five straight wins in Serie A. These have included victories over strong rivals such as Juventus, Lazio and Roma. So I think Inter will win. Especially since they have been in good shape lately. I think the rivals will play an open game to decide everything in the first match.

I'm really having a hard time predicting this match. It's hard to predict who will win.
On one side we have Giroud, on the other we have Džeko and Martinez. No Leão, that's a great loss for Milan.
I think Inter is leading by a small margin but still the teams are very close to each other. Also, it's not easy to weigh these teams against their league performances, they play very differently in the Champions League. We expected Napoli to be here, but they didn't make it to the semi-finals. Inter and Milan, on the other hand, have great histories and have always played in the top rounds in this cup. I hope we watch a good game, not like a boring Serie A game with defenses in the foreground.

The confirmed line-up for Milan's semi-final first leg match against Inter which will be played shortly is now available. If we look at Milan using a 4-2-3-1 formation and as usual Olivier Giroud will be the spearhead for Milan. While Inter they are still using the formation they usually use 3-5-2 by focusing on attacks through Federico Di Marco and also Denzel Dumfres.

From Milan we don't see the name Rafael Leao in the starting line-up because he is still suffering from a groin injury and from Inter we don't see Romelu Lukaku in the line-up, it looks like Lukaku will come on in the second half to carry out an effective attack. Looking at the chances of which team will win in this match, in my opinion, it is quite difficult to predict, but I think Milan will narrowly win this match.
The absence of Rafael Leao is certainly a big loss for Milan. Nonetheless, it looks like Pioli is ready to face his eternal rival Inter Milan at the San Siro. However, if you look at some of their performances in Serie A, Milan have not been very consistent, but I see that the win over Lazio was a good capital for the Rossoneri. Meanwhile, Inter Milan is in good condition after being able to record five consecutive wins. The Nerazzurri also have a lot of ammunition ready to attack Milan's defense. But this is the Champions League which has a different atmosphere, it is very difficult to predict who will be the winner, it is possible that this game will end in a draw.
Even though Milan is not doing well compared to Inter, I'm sure Pioli has devised the right strategy to dampen Inter's flow of attack. In this match many people are betting that Inter will win, but I will choose Milan. I feel confident in Milan because they have European DNA and also have the experience of beating Napoli in the quarter-finals. If Pioli uses this strategy again, then victory will again overshadow Milan.

This is a match that will probably be more tense than yesterday's semi-final, I mean this is the derby between the two Milans in the semi-final. One of them will eventually qualify for the final, but perhaps Milan have lesser chances than Inter. Inter basically has a much more stable performance than Milan, but I agree with one thing, the Champions League is always different especially regarding the atmosphere of the matches.
I also think that game will better than yesterday Real Madrid vs Manchester City. Inter Milan is the Favourite. They won the last two games against each other. On 5 February 1:0 and on 18 January 3:0. AC Milan beat Napoli in the Champions League, which gives them a bit more motivation. The betting odds also see Inter Milan as favourite. Win Inter Milan x2.35 and win AC Milan x3.00.

Edin Dzeko is in Rehe starting lineup, i think Romelu Lukaku is the netter Choice, he is 8 years younger. Dzeko has played over 70 CL games and has a lot of experience, but at 37 years old I don‘t think he will play more than 60 minutes today.

In the first half Manchester City really dominated the game but unfortunately, Manchester City was not lucky because Manchester City could not score a goal in the first half and it was Real Madrid who won at half time. With a result like this, it's possible that Manchester City still can't beat Real Madrid and if that's still going to happen at this moment, then it's no longer bad luck but maybe a curse.

Because it is clear that at this moment Manchester City has a better squad and if I compare with Real Madrid then at least Manchester City still has a chance to qualify for the final. But after the first leg is played, I don't think Manchester City can promise with certainty to qualify for the Champions League final this season, because it looks like Real Madrid still has a big chance of qualifying for the final.

Just to add, even if that goal was reviewed by Var, then that goal shouldn't have been awarded as that was clearly a throwing for Real Madrid. Carlos Ancellotti was fumming as the officiating referee's judged the game wrongly as if they favoured a side over the other side.
City's pressure and attacking cooled down immediately Vinicius scored that goal they started playing the game with caution.

I'm part of the supporters that wanted my club Real Madrid to win yesterday's match against Manchester City but sometimes, too much Var analysis kills the fun of football. 5 years ago, Var was not around and Messi and Ronaldo were kicking asses but some referees bad decisions led to the implementation of Var which is not bad but sometimes, we have to give it some rest, if the referee wanted to be too professional, Cavajal would have bag straight red card yesterday, so it is safe to say that it was a fair match.

Quote
Tchouameni had a good shot on target but the effort was saved by Ederson, I don't really rate him so high, he is also not as good as people think he is, he's just been protected by a good defense and a side that keeps good ball possession. ( Though ) that's the work of a good defense. Manchester City lacked attacking on Real Madrid last night, I was anticipating for the substitution of Bernado Silva for Mahrez or for Foden. Good defending from Rudiger, caging Erling Haaland, Can same be repeated at Etihad?

Even with Real Madrid's incredible performance, their shots on target weren't upto what Manchester City had against them and I like how Ancelotti responded to Kroos misbehavior that gave him a yellow card, it was a good decision when he substituted Tchouameni in and he played very well with the limited time, above all Real Madrid tackles every move of Manchester City just that they slept on De Bruyne, they thought his main job was there to assist, I never expected that straight shot to come so easy when he got the chance.

Another UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg will be between Milan and Inter. "Derby della Madonnina" will be a great pleasure to watch. I feel like we will watch a very enjoyable match.  In my opinion, the favorite team is Inter. I would also like to watch Hakan Çalhanoğlu in the final. Milan's starting XI against Inter: Maignan, Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo Hernandez, Bennacer, Tonali, Brahim, Krunic, Saelemaekers, Giroud. Inter's starting XI against Milan : Onana, Darmian, Acerbi, Bastoni, Dumfries, Barella, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco, Lautaro, Dzeko.

Regarding this match, Milan lost Rafael Leão from one of their list of attackers in the first leg. Giroud as the spearhead was supported by 3 midfielders Alexis Saelemaekers, Bennacer and Brahim Díaz. This might slightly reduce the intensity of attacks from Milan because we know that Leao is one of the major contributors to Milan's performance this season. I chose a draw, the second leg is the determination of who deserves to qualify for the final.

Great game last night, really enjoyed watching Real vs City. All to play for in the 2nd leg.

All Italian, Milan derby in the other semi final tonight. I will definitely be watching, I really can’t separate them, they are so close in quality. Wouldn't surprise me if it was another draw.

The game will be extremely difficult because both teams are in better positioned to defeat the other, but due to their team's performance recently and in their league, Inter Milan is more serious than Ac Milan. Inter Milan also has a good forward player like Lukaku who is in better shape this season, but I can't predict the result of the match because Ac Milan also has a good forwarder who can play more Lukaku and defensive players who can attack him and stop him from scoring.
I see that Ac Milan has more supporters than Inter Milan in this game, and I hope that Inter Milan won't surprise them by defeating Ac Milan and cut some of the fan's bet.

It was a tough match between Manchester City and Real Madrid. I was thinking it will be a good ending for Real but it turns out looking like better results for Manchester City cuz having a 1-1 draw result in Benabue is good enough to anticipate winning at Etihad. Manchester City had a better performance though with a late goal,  and I am expecting something huge from them I'm the second leg.  After a struggling draw at Santiago Bernabeu from the look of things, Carlo Anceloty may not be lucky in this champion league phase

After the match between Real Madrid against Manchester City which had controversy about VAR, then whteher in today's match about the Milan derby will have drama and or controversial decisions too. Considering this is not a derby they can play in Serie A, but at this moment they will be playing in the semi-finals of the Champions League and of course, the pressure will be very different.

But apart from that, I personally don't expect a draw in this match because that would be an unattractive result. Because it would be better for one of them to win in the first leg because that way, the team that loses will play optimally in the second leg later but still won't guarantee a good result either. therefore, a match like that would definitely be very danceable, when compared to just playing defensively.

Manchester City drew with Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium Hopefully Pep Guardiola will be very happy for his boys with this result. Because Manchester City played the first match at the away ground. Pep Guardiola only wanted one result from his players in the first league match.  But all his plans revolved around the second league match Etihad Stadium.
Real Madrid's win against Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium was much needed.

So far the game is even but I am sure Etihad Stadium will give Manchester City a margin against Real Madrid. Maybe we can see Manchester City in the Champions League final this season.
You know, there are at least 41 different users on this thread voting for Manchester City to win the Champions League title this season so far this post I made, while 49 users voting for Real Madrid. I personally prefer Manchester City to win the title where in the end they have to actually qualify for the final and stop Real Madrid in the semi-finals.

The results of the first leg match may be favorable for Manchester City. The reason is, the second leg of the semi-final will be played at the Etihad where Mancester City may be free to try to play more comfortably in front of their supporters. A win is expected, of course regardless of who Milan or Inter will be against in the final.

Not a single player was replaced in this match whether they underestimated Madrid or Pep was really cruel to their players because it was the same case as in their last 16 first leg.
Maybe he was satisfied with the performance of the crop of players he has on the pitch or he didn't want to bring any player to upset the balance of the team. Whatever may be the case, the game might have ended in a draw but one funny thing about the game was how Real Madrid restricted Manchester City from playing their typical possessive and high pressing football. I guess the return leg would be different as they will be playing at home and would have the backing of their home fans.
This is part of the strategy implemented by Pep Guardiola, and it seems he is hiding the surprise strategy he will play in the second leg later. This must have been carefully prepared by Pep Guardiola so that his strategy is not easy for his opponent, namely Real Madrid, to read.
Yes, the second leg will be held at Manchester City headquarters and this is a clear advantage for them because they will play in front of their own supporters. In the first leg it seemed that Real Madrid could stop players from Manchester City, and that is also what they will probably do again in the second leg. Overall this match is very interesting for us to see the continuation in the second leg later.

Yes, you are right, both of them put on a great game as well as being strong, Madrid and City certainly want to win in this game so they try not to concede more goals, but City's advantage is that playing away can hold a draw at home to Madrid, of course that is the result good one and looking forward to playing the second leg at the Etihad to see what an interesting match these two are going to be, I think City will be through to the final

Milan and Intermilan will compete today, I have also placed my bet on Intermilan even though many favor Milan but I'm sure Intermilan can steal today's narrow win against Milan later, I think Intermilan is more worthy of entering the final to meet Manchester City.  Wink

I think, Manchester city will go for UEFA champions league final because Real Madrid cannot stop them in the second leg not to achieve goals that will bring them victory, because they are good in using home advantage to defeat any strong team. Real Madrid plan is to defeat Manchester city 1-0  in the first leg and draw the second leg with Manchester city in their home, which Manchester city never allow Real Madrid plan stand than to used another tactics to scored goal at 67 minutes to equalized the goal 1-1. I believe, Manchester city will embrace more opportunity in their second leg to defeat Real Madrid 3-1 because they will not allow what happened in this first leg to repeat itself again.
At least I like the way Madrid defenders turn off Haaland. They shut down Haaland well. De Brunye's goal was actually preceded by a ball that was already out of the field. But it doesn't seem important to protest and use Var look back.
But thinking about it is useless, the game is over. Madrid must prepare in the second leg. They had a good moment in the UCL when they went out of Spain. So Madtrid's hope of qualifying for the final is even difficult.

Manchester City dominated match and Manchester City were crashed Real Madrid. Madrid had one notable attack and shot in the first half hour. Vinicius Junior opened the scoring for the from distance with spectacular goal. Manchester City hit back through De Bruyne with extraordinary goal. In the second leg match to be played at Etihad Stadium, Manchester City became more advantageous.
Why did Manchester City defeat Real Madrid? The game ended in a draw, and in terms of shots on goal and possession the teams were equal. Possession 55% to 45% with a slight advantage in favor of Manchester City, as well as the number of shots on goal 6, against 4 shots from Real, but in any case, the difference is not so great that you can say that Manchester City defeated Real.
Statistics before the match also said that the teams are essentially equal, before this match both teams had 4 wins and 2 draws, after this game there will be 3 draws

So everything will be decided in Manchester, where probably a small advantage of 60% to 40% will be Manchester City.
