Indeed match have draw but most appreciated for Real Madrid's with sold defensive, Antonio Rudiger success given huge pressure for Haaland and he faced difficult for getting left space and created attempt. Both team have played well tonight and we are exciting watching this games although the final score is draw.

Camavinga played well tonight and last minutes his position move to midfielder for replacing position from Toni Kroos, but he can plays well on left defender with how many time attempt created and his assist for goal scored by Vinicius Jr, for Manchester City seems De Bruyne become the difference after the amazing goal and success give hope for the citizen on second leg.
The game went well, even though I wanted Real Madrid to win, but I'm happy that Madrid played a well-deserving game. The match ended in a draw, despite the fact that both teams gave it their all. I wondered if it was because Camavinga switched to a position next to Kroos that he wasn't quite at ease, but he still assisted Jr. in the game's winning goal However, I thought Manchester City performed well there tonight despite the fact that Real Madrid put more pressure on them in the second half. It was particularly amazing when bruyne was able to catch up with them and score a goal for them.

I personally feel that this result is more of a success for Manchester City than for Real Madrid considering that even with the Home Advantage that Real Madrid had they still ended the game in a draw waiting for the second leg in England which will be a much more difficult test for them. I noticed that Pep did not make any changes in the game, It is clear that he knows that his club has mnay games and do not need for all his players to be fatigued. Manchester City have more options on the bench than Real Madrid, and this same starting line up will be the same team that will play Manchester City in the Etihad, Manchester City may make some changes.

1-1 away is always good. City will play their second match at home and will be the dominant side. Real Madrid can counter City's dominant football with counter attacks as they come out fast from the defence. Real Madrid, which prevented Haaland from playing well today, paid off. He could not prevent the goal scored from outside the penalty area and left the field to a draw. Maybe it would be nice to get Silva out of the game and bring in someone more lively, but Pep didn't choose that.

Honestly Camavinga adapted and played very well as a left back for Real Madrid in today's match occasionally he drifted to the midfield to assist Kross and Modric just like the way Zinchenko plays for Arsenal, Rudiger also did a wonderful job by denying Halaand space or chances to score goals, however Man City took most of the possession unfortunately their final third i.e attack was weak above all it was a thrilling encounter and a very competitive match though the final score was 1-1 but team deserve commendation, the second leg is very unpredictable despite the fact that has  Man City has an advantage of playing at Etihad but this UCL which is s different ball game.

Real Madrid have sucked up the city pressure well and now playing comfortably on their home turf, and I must admit the citizens looked like they were in control in the early minutes of the game, but this turned around quickly  and put Real Madrid ahead thanks to a beautiful  shot from Vinicius Jr and it will be difficult to put them out of the competition with how they are now playing.

Dejavu about to strike again, and we havent  heard much from Halaad either...tough game.
I think it's bad to keep Manchester City in control of the game because that could actually increase their chances of scoring. I know Vinicius managed to beat Ederson's goal with one accurate shot during the first half, yes, 1 shot 1 goal for Real Madrid. So far we have only relied on Courtois' performance because I saw Manchester City find chances throughout the first half. I hope Real Madrid's defense can get better in the second half and they get better in attack.

This 1-0 advantage made Real Madrid comfortable to start the second half, but I'm worried because if the defense is not good then Real Madrid will concede in the second half. The first half belonged entirely to Manchester City, but Real Madrid won.

As I said posted before, that Madrid will rely on counterattacks. and yes, they do. but to be honest, Madrid could only defend "in the first half" something I really didn't expect from a team as big as Madrid. at least, fellow strong Madrid team dared to play more aggressively. a little boring, especially when City dominates ball possession. by the way, as I thought before, if this fight is likely to end in a draw. because, there was a change in strategy that Pep Guardiola applied in this match in the absence of Nathan Ake. fortunately, Kyle Walker played very well by always closing and making it difficult for Vini Jr.'s movements.

In the second half, at least the match was a little more exciting, Madrid put up a bit of resistance by pressing City. fortunately, De Bruyne was able to equalize in the 67th minute. Personally, I am quite satisfied with City's performance. because technically City is better than Madrid. unfortunately, Benardo Silva did not play at his best. Likewise with Akanji, he had several times had difficulty holding back the Madrid players.

On the Madrid side, I don't have much to say, because I said it at the beginning of the post. they have very dangerous counterattacks, also when the Madrid players are in the area of the opponent's defense. every combination and rotation between players, always threatens the City goal. it's just that, in this game the system is not very visible. well, the battle was over and ended with a score of 1-1. next, Madrid will travel to the Etihad Stadium, City headquarters.

only 0-0 for City, will Guardial will fail again?  Grin

City should be the strongest remaining team in the cup but this is a Real favorite place and they always win, idk how they do.

Tomorrow we will have the derby and IMHO Inter is the favorite.

Do you expect Real Madrid to play defensively instead of their usual open play? I still hope that Manchester City can win this game even if Real Madrid plays any strategy, and now Manchester City can find a goal after several attempts. Kevin De Bruyne scored just as well as Vinicius, and I think their spirits will only get better for the rest of the second half. Haaland hasn't found a goal yet and I hope he can find one before the end of the match.
The semifinal match was the most exciting in my opinion. The game was tight, the goals that were created and the goals were cool and the two coaches were equally adaptive to tactics. Pep Guardiola as usual is smart and always overthinking in the big match. It's a sign that there hasn't been a single substitution tonight, maybe Pep Guardiola is afraid the players will ruin the rhythm of the game. Even though Bernardo wasn't that good at attacking in the match earlier, he is still good at making defense compared to Mahrez. I wanted to replace Halland, who wasn't good enough in the last game, but Halland made a real Madrid defender. On the other hand, Don Carlo has always been successful. Making Real Madrid play efficiently and have a solid defense.

Real Madrid's defence has done well in this first half, most especially Eduardo Camavinga who has made many important touches including the assist that has led to Real Madrid's one goal advantage with their first attempt on target. Manchester City have met their match and they are will have to take things more carefully in the second half to avoid more goals. Manchester City's target now will be to try to get an equaliser or try to make sure that Real Madrid don't score more goals that will make the second leg more difficult.
Yes Eduardo Camavinga was epic in that match, he was on all fronts and Real Madrid were very lucky to have him because he can play in the midfield and wing-back positions. The process of Vini's goal in the match was also very beautiful, starting from Eduardo Camavinga's individual actions past several Manchester City players, then Eduardo Camavinga gave the ball to Vini and created a beautiful goal.

What a magnificent goal from De Bruyne on the 67th minites to equalise the game for his side. It was a good second half for city as they were able to put themselves back into the game, after the first half. Manchester city really tried their best in this match because all the players played 90mins with no substitute.

It was a very good clean strike from De Bruyne to help his side get a goal and equalize. With the goal, they managed to put themselves back into the game. Both sides played really well, especially Madrid. I think they had really pressured Manchester City and if Manchester City had slacked even for a second, Madrid would have taken that opportunity to net another one.

During the final moments of the game, Madrid increased the pressure on City goal and tried to score but Manchester City tried in holding their own till the end to his going away with a draw. Better a draw than a loss right?
The second leg would be even more interesting as Madrid would have to travel over to the Etihad Stadium for the second leg of the game. Perhaps we could see a City win in the second leg.

Real Madrid came out defensively strong today, they rarely attacked in the first half but maybe they were better in the second half. They led 1-0, but now changed after Manchester City scored a goal so the possibility of a draw is getting bigger as a result of the first leg. It will work in Manchester City's favour, as they will be playing the second leg at home, and will probably win it in front of their home crowd.
Yes in the second half players Real Madrid were better. They are lucky in the first half Thibaut Courtois played very well, he saved some good opportunity that Manchester City had, but Kevin De Bruyne's shot in the second half was so fast he couldn't reach it. With this draw results, indeed Manchester City have an advantage because in the second leg they will be playing at home. The possibility for Real Madrid to win at there is very small, because previously Bayern Munich also can defeated with score 3-0.

I think Real Madrid should keep up with their strong defense. If possible the coach should change formation to increase the number of defenders and rely on the speed and skill of Vinicius for counterattacks and to capitalize on any blunder by the City team. Winning this match one zero will be a big win for Real. They will go to Emirates Stadium and play for a draw.

In football, you don't stick to one strategy. The coach is expected to change the formation of his team to suit each game or period. Real Madrid came all out in the second half of the game and created more goal-scoring opportunities. Kevin De Bruyne has given Manchester City the needed morale at least, they won't be under pressure in their home ground. Real defense ensures that Haaland is starved of goal-scoring opportunities. We watched two good teams that produced two world-class goals. The game is now open for both teams and the winner of this encounter will likely be the European Champions.

The first leg was fair enough for both teams, but I think the result will be very favorable for Manchester City. A lot of people hoped Manchester City could win this match, myself included but in the end 1-1 wasn't bad enough.

Real Madrid tended to press more in the second half and created some dangerous chances, but just like what happened in the first half, Madrid failed to double their lead but instead conceded a fantastic De Bruyne goal. Even though Manchester City didn't win the first leg, I'm satisfied with the result they got today. The real hard work is at the Etihad stadium, Pep Guardiola has to convince his players to win.

Real Madrid can win anywhere, either at home or away.

But maybe not at the Etihad if Manchester City are more spectacular at home. If Real Madrid are so passionate about playing at home, then Manchester City should do the same. The home match will be in their favour, but something could change if they make a fatal mistake. I mean Manchester City have to avoid losing a lot of balls and mis-passing like in Vinicius' first goal scenario today.

Your concern is correct that in the second half Manchester City can score goals and Real Madrid will feel uncomfortable in the second leg.
For me, the 1-1 result earlier gives a signal that this season Manchester City will be the team that will move on or qualify for the next round after leg 2.

In contrast to Real Madrid.
Pep really put full faith in the players who entered the line-up and none of them were substituted in that game.
Winning ball possession, winning shoot on target, winning passes including winning discipline.

That was a really beautiful strike that De Bruyne took that ultimately helped Manchester City equalize on the scoreline. It’s an impressive performance from both sides as the scoreline is now 1:1. The game is starting to get more interesting as we’re on the lookout to see which side would score another goal.
Real Madrid has been superb so far in their performance and Manchester City would really need to step up in their attacks if they want to keep Madrid from scoring again. Both sides has the ability to win the game but the better team would prevail in the end. We’re now in the 80th minute of the game. Would the game end in a draw?
The match is almost over and the score is 1-1. To be honest I think this match is a worth final for this season's Champions League, but the sadly that one of these two teams has to go home one way or another.

Real Madrid also tried in creating chances but it wasn't easy for them to score the second time, since their tactics didn't give them a win. The game is still open for both teams to have the opportunity to qualify to the finals during the second leg that will be played in Etihad stadium. That game will determine the winner, I just hope that the second leg wouldn't end up to be a penalty shoot out because both clubs are very strong. Real Madrid can win anywhere, either at home or away.

We watched an incredible goal, De Bruyne sent a missile into the goal. We are watching a very enjoyable match, both teams have good positions to find. While both teams were playing poorly, they scored, but no goals were scored during the good positions they found. After this goal, Manchester City's morale will be very high and we can watch a few more goals in the continuation of the match. Both teams have the potential to win, it seems like the lucky team will win Smiley

Man City look stronger than Real, but they have forgotten what it takes to defend apart from attacking... Real had only two chances and in one of them they did not forgive Man City's mistake... I think the second half will be even more interesting than the first one... After scoring a goal, Real have started to play more confidently... Will they be able to keep playing like that and win? Hala Madrid! Grin
I never expected this game to be this way. I was sure Manchester City will enjoy a convincing win but it's clear now that I was wrong. The city has been in top form and Real has been recently inconsistent in their local leagues respectively. But it seems that coach Ancelleti is a skillful coach. He has been able to curtail the attacking power of the City and has utilized the only clear opportunity they had. Antonio Rüdiger, Carvajal, and the entire Real defense have been splendid. The transfer of players like Rudiger might have contributed to the downfall of Chelsea.

They were just unlucky, but if Real Madrid sloppy in defense then Manchester City could score a couple of goals in the second half.

Thibaut Courtois has been the best defensive wall for Real Madrid so far, but I really believe he will conceded in the end. Manchester City had many chances, but of course Thibaut Courtois saved the finish. The match is really getting more and more interesting and I hope Manchester City can find a solution to score goals.

Real Madrid increased the intensity of their game in the second half, they were very excited and the fans were amazing. But either way, it's a very tense match. Pep Guardiola has to adjust his strategy for the rest of the second half, they have to score goals.
