However how man city played against beyern in the quarter-final winning 3-2 at Etihad and going toe-to-toe with them in full blooded 1-1 suggests that if man city keeps the intensity. Have been playing with all this while they may be a new name on the trophy this time around
Manchester City beat Bayern Munich 3-0 in the first leg of their QF tie at the Etihad, i don't really know where you got the 3-2 scoreline from, and the second leg at the Allianz Arena ended in a 1-1 draw, thus City won on aggregate 4-1. BTW i also think it is going to be City's season in the CL this time around, they have suffered quite a lot of heartbreaks and cruel eliminations in this tournament, but i think they are very much matured to beat Real Madrid this time around, and defeat whichever of the Milan club that makes it to the final.
You know there's no season that Manchester City are not prepared, infact they used to be champions league team of the season but there's always this Madrid problem for them. Being able to beat Real Madrid at the quarter-final, semi-finals or finals of the Champions League is not only the function of how good you play or how inform your club is, it is also a function of maturity, composure and experience.

Real Madrid is even ready and are the favorites in as much as Champions League is concerned. The only way Manchester City will survive is either Vinicius Junior or Benzema or both are injured.

I must say Manchester City is better than Real Madrid in this season.

Casemiro leaving Real Madrid is a big lose, his performance is stable and he's very good with counter attack strategy. Yeah Real Madrid still have veteran midfielders e.g. Modric and Kroos, but their performance are decreasing due to their old ages. Tchouameni and Camavinga are still need to learn and get experiences. Rodrygo and Vinicius are same, they sometime play very good and sometime not, only Valverde had stable performance.

Now take a look with Manchester City, they have De Bruyne, Grealish, Mahrez, and Gundongan, all of them having stable performance. Actually Haaland don't have a stable performance, but even though he play not that good, his teammates can still score many goals without him.

Last season, Manchester City was also very favored against Real Madrid and maybe what made the difference this time for Manchester City was that they had Haaland in the starting line-up. I admit that Haaland is a monster for any top European team at the moment, including Real Madrid. It's just that even though Manchester City has Haaland it doesn't mean they can guarantee victory. While Real Madrid's squad is still the same as last season, maybe what's different is that some of the young Los Blancos players are now starting to process being better than last season and all Real Madrid players have a winning mentality throughout the season. But for Manchester City, even though they have extraordinary squad depth, they still don't have a winning mentality so far. Maybe it's Manchester City's shortcomings until now that have made them often fail to win the Champions League trophy for the first time.

Manchester City defeated Bayern Munich 3–0 at the Etihad Stadium in the UCLA quarter-finals in the First League. At the end of the first match, Manchester City is far ahead in the semi-finals of UCL with a big lead of three goals.
Manchester City secured the semi-finals by drawing 1-1 in the second league match at Bayern Munich's home venue.

Real Madrid and Manchester City will meet in the first league match of the semi-final at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on May 10. Since the first league match will be played at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, Real Madrid will undoubtedly be ahead of the first league match.

Well, that's enough for Man City, which has received many disappointments in the last few seasons in the UCL. even last season Man City almost made it to the final. But Man City let their guard down at the end of the second leg in last season's semi-final match. Real Madrid even scored goals at the end of the game, namely in the 90th, 91st minutes and from a penalty kick in the 95th minute. I hope this season Man City can win the Champions League title. because actually they were decent even since last season and especially for this season now.

What you said is true, I remember that Real Madrid was very inconsistent this season in the Local League, the proof is that Real Madrid this season is very far from Barcelona in points.

Look at Man City starting to threaten Arsenal and in the UCL they have beaten Bayern Munich who also have strong UCL DNA. Real Madrid, too, beat Chelsea, but it looks like Chelsea in the Local League, Chelsea, are falling apart again. So it's natural to lose to Real Madrid.

But look at Real Madrid's consistency with City now. Manchester City are more consistent, whether with Haaland (very good) or not with Haaland (because there are still Julian Alvarez, Jack Grealish, Bernardo Silva & Riyad Mahrez, recently, Grealish & Riyad Mahrez have started to make the difference, when Haaland & Phil Foden rested)

This time it's hard to guess between Man City vs Real Madrid, Man City's game is getting better especially with Erlind Halland. Even so, Man City still has to be careful with Real Madrid, who always plays consistently and effectively when playing in the UCL, especially if Man City concedes first. Pep usually likes to worry and make the wrong decisions.
it is undeniable that Manchester City this season is very strong and very consistent, even in several positions they have the same quality of players between coating and core players.
but this is the UCL semifinal match, for sure both teams will put out their best performance here and in my opinion consistency in the domestic league will not have much effect but mentality and confidence is what is really needed in big matches like in this UCL semifinal.

and so I think the match that will be very fierce will of course be in the Man City vs Real Madrid game, it's the same as what happened last season when the two also met in the semifinals.
the betting market favors Manchester CIty in this match but I don't think so, regardless of Real Madrid fans or not I plan to bet on Real Madrid in this match, it is very logical for a big profit and a risk that is worth it.

It really depends, I think. There is no definitive answer whether the domestic league can contribute to mental stability and also to stability in the gameplay. In the case of Real Madrid I think they can use the La Liga games as practice games as the race for the title has long been over.

In the case of Manchester City I think they can use the energy from the domestic league and accumulate it along the way to their games against Real Madrid. Manchester City can win it all this season. If they beat Arsenal in their next game, that is going to give them some extra confidence boost as they are getting closer and closer to the absolute maximum of winning the Premier League, the Champions League and the FA Cup. I know there is also the League Cup, but that is of minor importance. I believe that City benefits from a tight schedule as long as they can still win all the important titles.

Yes, Manchester city is better than Real Madrid in this season because the way Manchester city demonstrated in this champions league tournament to qualified for semi-finals easily showed that they are more stronger than Real Madrid. I believe, some of the players that left Real Madrid in this season really affected the team performance negatively because their performance was so poor, despite they made it to semi-final in the champion league competition. I think, Manchester city coach is doing a great job in this season, because his players are doing well in all their position that is giving their fans hope of winning this champions league title this season.

I personally can't decide which team to bet on. Actually I'm pretty sure Manchester City have the superior game and form. it's just that their mentality is sometimes not so good.

But if we remember the last meeting between these two teams in the Champions League semi-final last season, even then, Man City was always able to put pressure on Real Madrid's defense. and Man City also always dominated the game in the two legs of the semi-final last season. it's just that Real Madrid did have a better level of attack effectiveness last season.
And what is different from this season is that previously Man City did not have a goal scoring machine. Now this season, as we know, Man City has a defense which is their mainstay in finishing attacks. So that the shortcomings that Man City had last season will be covered by the presence of Haaland.
my only doubt about Man City this season is just the mentality of their players. apart from that I really favor Man City.

Winner of champions league is either Manchester City and Real madrid. It will  be interesting to watch game, I don't think Manchester City wont want to make mistakes for Real Madrid to win. Pep Guardiola will do his best to win the league. Manchester City have been looking for opportunity to win .
There's no club that wanna miss a chance to be qualified for the final of UCL. Final of UCl has become main target by so many big teams. The main problem is manchester city was facing the strongest club in the world with most of UCL trophies owned by this club. Real madrid is such a big threat for manchester city this time. I meant the consistently of real madrid is also even better compared with manchester city.

It has the best striker, best keeper, best winger and many more. It's very hard for manchester city to beat real madrid with the current form. Real madrid was EPL club killer.
I can't even believe how bookies were giving real madrid less compared with manchester city even though the first leg gonna happen in santiago bernabeu. It's very hard to say that if this gonna be another easy match for manchester united.

It seemed to me that if real madrid will be kicking out manchester city for the second time in a row.

Indeed, it is possible that Manchester City will become a new name as holders of the Champions League trophy this season because the team has shown extraordinary abilities this season in almost all competitions. But I will not equate Manchester City's condition against Bayern Munich with Manchester City's against Real Madrid, because this is a different team and of course there will also be a difference in the results later.

I don't agree if only Manchester City has the chance to qualify for the final while Real Madrid doesn't. Real Madrid will not be too daunted by any of Manchester City's advantages, the proof is that until last season we were still able to make them bite their fingers. One thing is certain, Manchester City is too weak to be superior against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

I don’t think it’s sad for people to hope Manchester City can win the title. Why would it be?
I think both teams while still in the competition has the same chance to qualify. Real Madrid would not be daunted by Manchester City winning ways but they should not underestimate their opponent as well. If you’re being honest, you also wouldn’t deny Manchester City prowess in the premier league. So I think it’s unfair to label them as a weak team cause they’re definitely not a weak team. One thing is certain, Real Madrid should be real careful when going in to play Man City.

Real Madrid is very consistent with the Champions League but sometimes, I think their secret to its success is luck and effort because it was the same Chelsea they removed last season in Quarter Final and also this season but Chelsea stopped Real Madrid last two (2020/210 season in Semifinal, they have had many chances and opportunities in that Semifinals but they have been trash many times, even in knock stage, who knows what will happen this time, I just hope Machester City focus on Premier League as they are about to flip Arsenal and should leave Real Madrid this season.
I don't even think so. Real madrid was just kicking city's ass last season. benzema and friends may able to do the same against city in upcoming match. Yeah haaland may become a thing that makes manchester city will be different compared with the last season.
Manchester city has a chance to win treble winners. There's no reason to say no for any of chances to win trophies in this season. That's why pep is also putting the main concern to keep the players are still healthy.

Real madrid is also having same possibility with manchester city to take treble winners this season. Ancellotti's squad will not let manchester city to take the trophy easily from real madrid.
Real madrid has become a winner last season. This is the hardest match that must be passed by manchester city.

I can't even wait for the match to begin. Another epic match become this season will come to its end. Im picking madrid now over city.  Grin Grin Grin

The conditions can still be but indeed with Manchester City's lack of experience for the Champions League it is clearly a little difficult, especially when their opponent is Madrid.
It will be very interesting now because if Madrid wins again in this match, then indeed for 2 consecutive seasons Madrid has always beaten 3 EPL clubs very painfully because Liverpool and Chelsea have felt that before and now it's just waiting for Manchester City to be able to act more or not.
It's sad to hear some people keep hoping Manchester City can win its first title in the Champions League this season. In fact, even if Manchester City were able to beat Real Madrid, they would not automatically win the title if they played badly in the final.

In terms of the quality of the game I think Man City is not weak. Even if Man City plays in maximum performance, I can say the quality of their game is a little better than Real Madrid. Man City does not have an advantage in the mentality of the game. so their game sometimes gets messed up. and had a deadlock in the settlement. Even last season, Man City almost beat Real Madrid. but in the end Real Madrid was able to get up in the second leg at that time. Real madrid have players who are much more experienced. and the mentality of the Real Madrid players is beyond doubt. Meanwhile, Man City also has good players, it's just that the mentality of the Man City players is indeed below Real Madrid.

I will be expecting Milan - Inter draw to be quite competitive. It isn't like Milan are playing against Napoli. There was a bigger gap between the teams then but Milan are still the team to have advanced to this round. Inter wouldn't be as dominant as Napoli against them so Milan players can manage to play their own game more comfortably. This can increase their chance of qualifying for the finale a lot as well.

I'm not underestimating any team here of course. Inter are as strong as them here these days. But I think Leao will also make difference and Milan will manage to push their opponent out of the tournament anyway. There is no stadium advantage in this one as these teams are sharing the same one as well.

I think it's only natural for fans to expect their favorite team to win the UCL trophy this season. Manchester city has a pretty solid squad this season and it's only right for them to show the world that they can become ucl champions this season. but before that, Manchester City must first be able to beat the defending champions before they can truly be said to be the strongest candidates to win the UCL title this season.

These two teams between Manchester City and Real Madrid still have the same chance to qualify for the next round.  Both of these teams must concentrate fully on the first leg to win because that will make one of them have a bigger chance to advance to the final

Between Benzema and Haaland, these two players are mainstays in their respective teams. I think their quality is quite different and from experience, maybe Benzema is no longer in doubt in the Champions League.

If they play badly you say? I suppose that saying would go both ways for the teams in the finals won't it. Besides, besides Real Madrid which would be playing against Manchester City in the semi finals, I dint see any other team in the league at the moment that looks strong enough to be able to maintain the pressure of Manchester City sound they make it to the finals. We all know how badly they need this, Pep needs it for his boys and to prove to the Manchester City board that his the man got the job and is bent on making it happen.

All that wouldn't come to play though if they don't manage to win Real Madrid. Real Madrid is the main obstacle to Manchester City winning the UCL as it is now. I guess we would find out soon enough.
