This season should be very different for Manchester City. They have a striker who threatens the most chances of any other team, of course I mean Haaland. But of course Manchester City are still not experienced enough in the Champions League so it's always possible to expect them to fall short despite being favourites. In fact beating Real Madrid is never easy for whoever you are, but there are always opportunities. I support Manchester City, while I don't belittle Real Madrid.
this season the team most likely to bring down Madrid is only Man City. that is very likely to be done by Man City. they are not a weak team, but they really have to prepare for the match well. Madrid are a strong team in the Champions League, there's no doubt about that. when Man City had Haaland, Madrid still had Benzema and the front line supported Benzema to be a sharp striker.
I hope Man City beats Madrid, and it will be a beautiful season for Man City.

The conditions can still be but indeed with Manchester City's lack of experience for the Champions League it is clearly a little difficult, especially when their opponent is Madrid.
It will be very interesting now because if Madrid wins again in this match, then indeed for 2 consecutive seasons Madrid has always beaten 3 EPL clubs very painfully because Liverpool and Chelsea have felt that before and now it's just waiting for Manchester City to be able to act more or not.
It's sad to hear some people keep hoping Manchester City can win its first title in the Champions League this season. In fact, even if Manchester City were able to beat Real Madrid, they would not automatically win the title if they played badly in the final.

I don't agree if only Manchester City has the chance to qualify for the final while Real Madrid doesn't. Real Madrid will not be too daunted by any of Manchester City's advantages, the proof is that until last season we were still able to make them bite their fingers. One thing is certain, Manchester City is too weak to be superior against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Actually things like this are quite natural because it really depends on each other's judgment and everyone is free to express their wishes but again this is just a perspective and the result will still be determined in the match.
As I said before, this will be interesting, especially if Madrid can beat Manchester City again like the previous season.
But for sure in this case one of the winners in this fight will be the champion of the season and I'm pretty sure about that.

Manchester City actually said they were ready from the previous few seasons as well for the Champions League. It's just that they need real action because readiness alone is not enough and it is an undeniable fact that every season they are ready but on the other hand they also have to be willing to be eliminated for several reasons.

Last season they were also like this by being the real favorites but a few mistakes of their own sent them into the abyss. Today they look the same, it's just a question of whether they will make the same mistake or be able to fix it. because if they can fix that and win in the semi-finals, the championship will totally be theirs.

I don't care how favorite Manchester City are in the Champions League this season, it certainly won't make me feel less confident to support Real Madrid to qualify for the final. If Manchester City deserved to go through, we (Real Madrid) deserved to do it too. In fact it may never be the same as they predicted, I mean, Real Madrid is a team that can always get out of big pressure even from a team that seems to be the favorite.

I have no doubts about Real Madrid's chances in the semi-finals this season, but we just have to raise our guard about some of Manchester City's players who are the most dangerous scourge. Haaland is a great player, productive strikers this season in all the competitions he has played for Manchester City, so he has to be the main focus in defence.
It doesn't matter, you can still favor Real Madrid even though I also believe that they are no longer expected by most people to win the Champions League title this season. Lol

Manchester City seems very ready to beat anyone in the semi-finals or final this season. But of course, Manchester City are under some uncomfortable pressure when Real Madrid are the opponents. The Champions League is difficult to predict, the luck factor sometimes also plays a role in a match until they win the title.

These are the current odds I see for the Champions League winner. Of course there is a huge gap between Manchester City and the other teams and it doesn't make me surprised at all. I don't remember the previous season exactly about whether the odds were similar back then again. But I think there is an extra factor this season to affect the odds in a very positive way for Manchester City.

What if Real Madrid were to lose the first leg but then win the second leg, just like they did last season? Many people were praising Manchester City and had high expectations at that time. I will never forget the match and how Real Madrid surprised everyone by scoring in the 90+ minute, winning the game and leaving many Manchester City fans disappointed. This remarkable moment great goals scored in under three minutes, and Manchester City was sent home to the Etihad for the rest of the tournament. Don't get too exited about the Odds, it is possible that Real Madrid could repeat this feat again, or perhaps they will take the lead in both the first and second legs.

This factor is obviously Haaland. His impact on the team has been enormous so far. He is a complete goal machine and hard to be stopped. Manchester City were still a very productive team without him of course but this season is still different. They have a complete forward in the lineup and he is like the biggest talent in his position nowadays. I can't wait to watch his clashing with Benzema in both legs.  Grin

Haaland is overrated, but I like his strength and speed, he is just a season in England, and seems he is enjoying the short-term fame, let's see if he will continue this way in the next 5 years he signed with Manchester City.

Last season, Manchester City was also very favored against Real Madrid and maybe what made the difference this time for Manchester City was that they had Haaland in the starting line-up. I admit that Haaland is a monster for any top European team at the moment, including Real Madrid. It's just that even though Manchester City has Haaland it doesn't mean they can guarantee victory. While Real Madrid's squad is still the same as last season, maybe what's different is that some of the young Los Blancos players are now starting to process being better than last season and all Real Madrid players have a winning mentality throughout the season. But for Manchester City, even though they have extraordinary squad depth, they still don't have a winning mentality so far. Maybe it's Manchester City's shortcomings until now that have made them often fail to win the Champions League trophy for the first time.
To be fair there was a reason why they were favoured and they did win the series up until 88th minute of the second game. That was a great series for City and they just got unlucky at the last five minutes, that gave the Real the win, just two goals from Rodrygo that changed everything suddenly.

This season we are going to see Haaland be a problem for Madrid defense as well, how are they going to hold him down? I do not think that it will be possible and City has a chance to score at any moment, even if Real tries to attack, one country where they just throw the ball ahead could mean Haaland getting the ball and destroying anyone on his path. We may see Rudiger become like Upamecano as well, so there is a lot more chances this year without a doubt.
I'm not so sure about Real Madrid's defense right now even though they have the best defenders right now in Militao and Rudiger. But I am more focused on Camavinga's development, he could be a reliable tackler at the back line for Real Madrid. We know very well how his interceptions or tackles are always on point and that is the perfect value for one of the best young defensive midfielders currently owned by Real Madrid. I think maybe Ancelotti will be given an important role to help protect Haaland in the game and if that works, then Real Madrid will be easier to win the game against Manchester City.

After the recent game, Real Madrid had against Girona in La Liga and they lost the game with a 4-2 result I'm sure they have many defensive problems and now Ancelotti can even feel the danger because they are going to play against a team like Manchester City and they will play much harder than Girona with a player Like Laaland who can make trouble for Real Madrid.

Pep Guardiola has been impressive this season though he has always been that standout manager even in previous seasons. It will be delight to see his team win all three trophies they are currently fighting for this season including the premier league and FA cup trophy. They are in very good form and it will be very interesting to see how they can survive Real Madrid in the semi finals.

@Pokapoka124 Pep is a perfectionist and he’ll want the very best from his team, hence I’m expecting a very entertaining game between these two sides. Also Haaland can give his audition for Real Madrid as they would be targeting a striker to replace Benzema, thus if he scores few goals against them then he’ll definitely pass his audition test of scoring in important games.

Pep is a good man but I think he focuses too much training on board with a marker to players while Ancelotti does his with talking and action, I observed that very often when they go for half times in most of their games, that being said. There is much hype around Halaand as a goal machine but don't get disappointed if Real Madrid already had a plan to pin him down that could end him without any goals in this match, Ancelotti has good defensive measures and always equalized their goals even with their previous matches with Manchester City, I know this match is going to be a tough one but I have high hopes on Hala Madrid because even Bookies stake isn't making any difference between the two teams on odds.

IMO, in this season, City is better than Real Madrid. whether it's in terms of players, tactics, statistics, also in terms of goal productivity. every game City played, they always dominated. except, in the second leg when they visited Bayern Munich. if I have to be honest, City deserves more to qualify for the next phase and even to win the Champions League trophy this season. i guess they have a complete cast. whether it's in defense, midfield, wings, also strikers who are hungry for goals. So far, Haaland has scored 32 goals in the Domestic league, 12 goals in the Champions League, this is amazing. I don't think it's a matter of having experience or not, but more about team strength, team play, teamwork, tactical, plus a bit of luck.

As for Real Madrid, I'm sure Don Carlo understands very well that his opponent this time is a very tough team. so, Madrid will not play recklessly in the match later. actually, when it comes to strength, from my point of view, City are stronger. it's just that, in football anything can happen. the only ultimate strength that Madrid has is, a quick counter attack. therefore too, Pep will try to anticipate it. what is certain, this match still has a time lag and both teams will both learn every weakness of their respective opponents.
I agree that when you look at both squads Manchester City seems to be ahead of Real Madrid by an important margin, and as such it should be the favorite team to make it to the next round, however soccer is so unpredictable that a single play can be more than enough to change the whole semifinal, and I think that is what Real Madrid is going to look for, they will try to keep the game tied and try to find that play in order to get the win against Manchester City.

Experience in this semi-final will decide everything. Real Madrid have a lot of experience in the history of the Champions League and many cups. Manchester City can only boast that they played in the final against Chelsea in 2021 and lost. I think they can't win this year either and will lose to Real. Real are here to win another title like they did last year.
For this season I have a slightly different belief than what you said because this season Manchester City has played well and extraordinary in every match in the Champions League so that Manchester City can reach the semifinals again this season in the Champions League.

So that Manchester City has the possibility to win the Champions League title this season even though Manchester City has to fight a team that already has many trophies and experience in the Champions League. I think the only thing that can prevent Manchester City from winning the Champions League this season is luck, because that is a very difficult factor for anyone to reach.

Camavinga may also try to prevent haaland. It has alaba as well who is ready to block haaland's movement. Haaland has a good physic, but it doesn't mean if he can't be stopped.

From past experiences, we should know by now that man-marking a player always ends up badly for the team doing the man-marking. When you put a particular player to try and stop a certain player, then you're asking the player to 100% be on the player his marking.
If either or both Camavinga and Alaba are tasked with the job of stopping Halland, that limits them to only stopping Halland. They won't be able to express themselves freely in the game because the moment they may want to express themselves may be the moment Halland would exploit.
I like players to be free on the field, and stop the opposing players as a team because if we're being honest, everybody in Man City is a treat, you can't be focused on certain players and leave certain players. Every single player in Man City can hurt you, including their goalkeeper.
Halland and every other player in Man City can be stopped but you can only stop them as a team.
I agree with this. Because it's true that when a player is focused on keeping one of the opposing players tight, in fact this can actually create a loss for the guard's own team. because a player who closely guards one of these players will have limited movements because he will only focus on guarding that one person. And it's true that keeping Haaland tight I don't think will be enough to dampen the line of attack that Man City has. Because we can see in the Man City vs Bayern match this has been practiced. and as a result Bayern suffered defeat because some of their players were too focused on keeping Haaland tight. this makes Bayern have several gaps. But I'm pretty sure Real Madrid have a more effective tactic than just having to keep the haaland tight.

I'm sure Guardiola will put pressure on their team to be able to win the game in the first leg so that Madrid doesn't have a chance to comeback, marid has a winning mentality sometimes they always surprise in the last minutes so Manchester City needs to play pressing at the start to create a lot goals through Haaland where he is a Manchester City goal machine who is very prolific in scoring goals while playing in Manchester City.
Haaland et al will certainly play as much as possible to avenge them last season which made Manchester City fail to reach the UCL final, the meeting between the two is eagerly awaited because this will be a good match to watch and many eyes will be on this match, I know madrid has a winning mentality but i'm sure this season's UCL belongs to manchester city.

The Manchester City team has been the favorite team in the Champions League for the last few seasons. But they could not win the title. The team's performance suddenly deteriorated in the semi-finals and finals. But if Haaland is able to play well against Madrid then I believe Manchester City will qualify for the final. Manchester City players are very confident this time. They are strong as a team. Moreover, due to the strong midfield, Haaland is able to score a lot of goals.

Benzema is even better compared with haaland. If we are seeing based on the history and benzema has ever won ballon d'or as the best striker. It's not only benzema. You shall remember that if there are so many players in madrid who have same capability to make the goals. Valverde, rodrygo, Vini and many more. I remember when rodrygo was destroying manchester city last season by creating comeback against real madrid. Manchester city is strong but im thinking now if real madrid is in another level compared with manchester city. The consistency of real madrid is also very good at this moment. Madrid has won a trophy and it may increase as madrid become even closer to the copa del rey and UCL. Glad to see that if bookies were favoring city instead of real madrid.
That makes me feel so good with

If both Man City and Real Madrid are at their best then I'm afraid, Man City is winning the tie. Man City's best is better than Real Madrid's best. Man City on their best can beat any team. The treat Real Madrid pose most is not their current form or their players, its how effective they are in the Champions league and logically speaking, you can't use that to judge the outcome of a match because its not everything it works. If that always works them Madrid would have won the champions league every year.
On paper and based on current form, Man City is the favorites but we know the favorite doesn't always win the champions league.

If he chooses Real Madrid in the bet, let it happen, because we also have many choices in betting, of course they can be free to choose whichever team will win in this match. But there is one thing that I want to convey, that Benzema and Haaland cannot be used as a comparison regarding the achievement of getting the Ballon d'or, because their ages are also very different.

If you want to judge achievements, then comparisons have to be age-appropriate as well, because it's impossible for a young player to win the Ballon d'or. Also, I think when in the past Benzema was as old as Haaland is now, I believe Benzema hasn't achieved much. Meanwhile, Haaland at this moment has at least scored many goals, including the hat-trick that Haaland often manages to score.

Therefore, if at this moment you compare Benzema with Haaland, then of course Haaland is still better. But if you compare the ballon d'or, then it's an unequal comparison, because for Benzema himself it took a very long time to get the ballon d'or and it wasn't achieved at a young age, right.

With consecutive wins won by Man City, they are a team that is very strong and consistently wins, until later when they face Real Madrid, this will be a fierce match between the strongest teams in this league, but big opportunities will still come. obtained by Man City, I really hope for an epic match in the match later
You shall not feel worry about that. It will become another epic match. Manchester city and real madrid can be considered as the strongest club this season in EU. Manchester city has goal machine while real madrid will be coming with a perfect squad.
Real madrid has a target to defend its UCL trophy while manchester city is aiming to get a new trophy since city is not even owning UCL trophy. UCL is the main target by pep guardiola at this moment.
You shall not worry about the match. It will become a high tension match between two best clubs in EU

The italian match seems already abandoned by so many people. I think that intermilan has more possibility to win against ac milan. I were picking the result from previous matches as intermilan is far better compared with ac milan.
Intermilan was able winning against ac milan in several matches. The same story will repeat again soon.
