I can't believe that Napoli is gone. I honestly believed that they had a chance to win it all, a small chance but it looked quite possible. My idea was that they would beat Milan because they were better in the league, and Inter as well for the same reason, which would see them on the finals, and that is a single game so anything could happen on the final game. That was quite possible and even likely, right now not only they are not at the finals but they literally lost at quarter finals to Milan, a team they have so much more points on the league and yet they lost here.

It's a shame really, I wish we have seen them in the finals, that would have made it a lot more fun to watch overall. Hopefully we will see a big game between Milan vs Inter at least.

Why are you comparing the number of points in the tournament and the Champions League, they are completely different things and certainly not an indication of which team is stronger. The difference in the tournament is 22 points, but who knows what would have happened if Milan hadn't lost 15 points then, because things could have been different. Besides, if you look at the stats, I can't say that Napoli were much stronger.
Considering the general statistics of this year and their playing style on the field, I was very surprised that Napoli were eliminated. Before the return match was played, I wrote here that Napoli can still change the situation. I don't know what happened, it's even more interesting to me that he won a league game and two champions league games. If Napoli were better, they should have beaten one of the three games, it's very interesting. Leao was a big factor in Milan. He is a really fast player in this win, if they had stopped him, maybe the situation could have changed. Napoli will be content with only the league cup now.

Inter - Benfica today.
I think Inter will win, they can play more relaxed with two goals up, but I think since Milan did go to semifinal, I think Inter will do whatever it takes to reach that semifinal to. This have giving dem a extra trigger to advance with a Milano-derby.

I think its good odds that they winning the game tonight for 2.15X

A draw is enough for Inter to move to the quarter finals. Benfica shouldn't be difficult for Inter to defeat at their home stadium even if Inter decides to rest some players. The odd is pretty good with no cause for alarm, there is high chance Inter will find the back of the net in today's match, if they could get a two away goals then their home stadium should be more advantageous to them.

This is the match you have been waiting for because Munich has no hope of winning to qualify for the semifinals because their move will be stopped by Manchester City, today is the second leg meeting and it is certain that Manchester City will win again at the Allianz Arena to beat Munich, if there is a Manchester City meeting with madrid of course it will be very good because I am waiting for this meeting considering the previous defeat suffered by City in CL last season, losing narrowly so that City did not qualify for the final, that meeting will certainly be an arena for revenge.

I believe that with Manchester City's current strength they are strong enough to beat Madrid, Madrid was the reigning UCL champion last season, it's time for Manchester City to take over the CL champion this season from Madrid's hands, the semifinal meeting with Madrid will certainly be a revenge event. good revenge to repeat the bitter past experienced by City must be paid in full.  Wink
I think it's going to be a repeat of yesterday's game, I mean the Chelsea game where we all know who's going to make it through to the next stage of the competition. No matter the fight Bayern Munich are going to put up, Manchester City cannot make the mistake of allowing the commanding 3 goals they scored at home slip through their fingers. ManCity has already qualified. The match of the day that's still open is the Inter milan vs Benfica game.

If I were you I wouldn't get ahead of myself. Don't be carried away by ManCity current strength. I know the really want the champions league and they've been working very hard for it but one thing you should know is that Madrid and champions league are like siamese twins.

Bayern Munich have hopes of winning their home match against Manchester City, but I can't expect them to qualify for the semi-finals. Manchester City are a very tough team this season to fail to make the final, but anything can happen if they play badly. But anyway, I'm not going to dwell on the negatives on Manchester City today and they should also be well-deserved favorites to win the second leg at home of Bayern Munich.

I will say once again, Bayern Munich under Thomas Tuchel is not a very strong team. Bayern Munich's decision to fire Julian Nagelsmann is certainly a disaster for their struggle in the Champions League. Even though I'm not a fan of Julian Nagelsmann, he has proven that difficult things work out for his teams especially in the Champions League.

For Bayern, scoring three goals is very difficult. But the Germans are playing at home and they have nothing to lose already.. Man City did most of the work in the first leg, so they can afford to relax. All in all, I expect an even game. The opponents will have a tense match, but there will be no winner in my opinion. I'm betting on a draw in this match.

Napoli eliminated by Milan. I'm quite disappointed because  Napoli are dominating in the league. Napoli created many opportunities, also they missing a penalty. Congratulations to Milan. AC Milan are now semi finalist and I hope they are present in Instanbul again as 2005.

I don't know what to say for Real Madrid. They are still the "winner" as always. If Real Madrid wins the UEFA Champions League, will show his dominance again.

I think Manchester City will still be the favorites to win the second leg even though Bayern Munich are playing at home. The probability of winning for Manchester City is quite convincing, so I think Bayern Munich will most likely lose. I don't expect many goals, but both teams will score.
After 3 goal scored already by Manchester City. Do not forget that Manchester City is not from Italy and they hardly meet. Allianz Arena would be strange to Manchester City more than the away matches played with English clubs, and not that Bayern is so very bad not to have the UCL strength to play today, it may be Bayern game today even if Manchester City eventually qualifued for quarter final, but better to go for over 2.5.

When it is decided that one of the semi final matchups is Real Madrid v Manchester City, it is going to be very exciting to follow this one. Because we must be remembering their previous matchup here. It was a very competitive one and Real Madrid's comeback is really unforgettable. Manchester City fought hard there but it was still not enough to eliminate the most experienced team of this tournament.

But this time I will have much bigger hopes about Manchester City to do this work. Because Haaland is literally a game changer for this team currently. The amount of goals he scored so far is just insane. He isn't only good in the Premier League. He has done an amazing work in the Champions League as well so far. He is going to be the biggest threat to Real Madrid. If they have struggles to hold him off or Haaland doesn't have a bad form then Manchester City can really eliminate them this time.

The 1-1 at Napoli - Milan you would almost think it was a boring draw, but nothing could be further from the truth. At the summary you saw that the stadium was completely sold out, that must have given an incredible atmosphere that way. It's a pity that AC Milan took the lead just before half-time, it seemed that Napoli lost faith a bit in the 2nd half. When the penalty went wrong it was over and close. 4 minutes of extra time, and after the 4 minutes the game was also ended immediately. Bayern Munich needs an absolute top performance tonight to go through to the next round. but Bayern in form is capable of great things. And City have proven vulnerable a few times this season, so who knows. Inter - Benfica seems to me to be a pretty boring duel.

Inter against Benfica is also a pretty exciting match in this QF round and even though Inter have a slight advantage on aggregate, the result is still not safe for Inter even though they will host the second leg later. Meanwhile, benfica continues to achieve less than optimal results in the domestic league and maybe they will again have difficulty winning in this match against Inter. But Inter are also in poor form in the domestic league but for the champions league they have been quite consistent in their previous matches. With both teams having solid defenses, I think I will bet under 2.5 in this match.

Because Inter have won 2-0 on aggregate, so it looks like in this second leg I think there will be a lot of goals scored maybe 3 to 4 goals. But with a note, Benfica must be able to make a goal first but if Benfica is not able to score first then yes, it is very possible that Inter will only maintain its aggregate and that way there will not be many goals created.

But I hope Benfica can turn things around in this second leg, considering that Benfica also had a good run in the Champions League this season so Benfica still deserves to qualify. Indeed, it is very unfortunate, because of course it is not an easy job to score goals in away matches, moreover, Benfica does not have a big winning mentality and Benfica's performance has also decreased at this moment.

Inter were also in bad form in Portugal last game and had lost many games in Serie A, but against Benfica they played great. Benfica created a lot of attacks but could not break Inter's defence. Probably Inter will put the bus out tonight. They don't have to score goals, the main thing is that Benfica don't score.

Victor Osimhen couldn't do much, maybe if he had played from leg 1 the results would have been different. But it had to happen, inevitably Napoli accepted defeat. Even though Oshimen gave a goal contribution in Leg 2, of course it wasn't enough because there was still 1 point left on aggregate. Not only you, but even all active gamblers also drop their bets on Napoli. This result will be quite ideal for Milan, who have long missed the Champions League semi-finals.

So who will Milan face? Inter and Benfica in the end will be a difficult journey to continue to the top of the final. With the advantage of Leg 1 for Inter, they still can't make them safe, therefore in this match, both teams will definitely do everything they can to get a ticket to the semi-finals.

I got my predictions wrong yesterday.
I had thought that the Real vs Chelsea game would have more than 2.5 goals and also that Napoli would qualify.
I was getting a lot of games right, but I really got it wrong.

For today's games the obvious thing is to bet on M. City and Inter to qualify, however I think there is an interesting bet to make on the M. City game.
My prediction is that the game will have more than 3 goals, and the reasons are that Bayern badly needs the victory by 3 goals difference or more, and M. City has great chances to score goals. In the last 6 matches Manchester City has scored an incredible number of 27 goals, almost unbelievable, and that was included 2 Champions League matches.

Unlike Chelsea who are going through a horrible phase, Bayern have a better team and have been scoring goals, in the last 6 matches they have scored 12 goals, and the last time they didn't score a goal was on September 17, 2022.

These are my reasons to believe in a match with lots of goals.

Inter this season had opposite performance in champion league that since group stage until today they were successfully to eliminate their opponents and Benfica also has became an their victim because surprisingly they were lose with scores 2-0 and now Benfica have to win at least with 3 goals margin if they want to advance to semifinal and this is very hard for them

For Inter they are in the comfortable position because all they have to do is to get draw results today or lose with 1 goal margin only but as a host Inter had favourable positions because they will playing in the front of their own fans and it will boosted their mentally because the fans directly will support them besides that Inter were quite strong at home in champion league and so far only Bayern who able to beat them at their home

Benfica conditions doesn't looks good because in all competitions Benfica has lose 3 times streak and only able to scored 1 goal and my prediction is Inter had good chances to beat Benfica again especially they always be performing good in champion league and Inter has odds @2.17 and about final scores probably 1-0 and if Inter can able to win and qualified then we will see Milan derby on semifinal later

To be honest, the result in the first leg was beyond my expectations. I didn't think that Inter could win their match at Benfica headquarters. although in theory and analysis, it is in accordance with what I previously suspected. however, the result is quite surprising. and yes, I lost the first leg betting.
Speaking of the fight in the second leg that will be held today, actually Inter is more fortunate because it plays in front of its own public. but I wouldn't be surprised if Simone Inzaghi will continue to use the same pattern and system, Inzaghi will still use the 3-5-2 formation.
by the way, Inter only needed a draw to qualify for the next phase. So, I'm sure Inzaghi will prioritize his defense more.

On the other hand, trailing by two goals in the first game. like it or not, Roger Schmidt had to maximize his team to win this fight.  so there is no option for Benfica to play with an offensive pattern, just like in the first match, only this time Benfica will play it all out. referring to the predicted line-up that Benfica will apply, nothing has changed like during the first match with the 4-3-2-1 formation pattern. Goncalo Ramos, remains a pure striker to break into the Inter defense. I suspect that Benfica will dominate the game and try to play aggressively from the first minute the whistle sounded. So, my estimation, a win for Benfica.
Italian giant Inter Milan and Portuguese club Benfica will meet again today in the Champions League match. Benfica were beaten 2–0 by Inter Milan in the first leg of the quarter-finals. Therefore, in today's match, Benfica will have to turn around in the opponent's field. But in today's match, Inter Milan will enter the field with the aim of semi. The last time Inter Milan played in the semi-finals of the Champions League was in 2010 when Inter Milan won the championship. But how do I know Inter Milan will win the match today and their milestone will be full. But let's enjoy this beautiful happy match today.

Real Madrid will prepare for all eventualities where the opponent is confirmed to be Manchester City. As a club that is on an ideal path, it is possible that Manchester City will overwhelm Madrid a little.

Wink

Never say never. Let's Bayern get the first goal within the first 20-30 minutes and they start believing in the miracle.
We have seen bigger gaps equalized in the KO round of the champions league. As long as Bayern believes in it and keeps Haaland in check there will always be a chance, especially playing in Munich.

Man City just had a draw in Leipzig before killing them 7:0 at home, home games are definitely easier for them.

Having this big lead obviously will also play into their approach for today's game. They can focus on defending and run some counter attacks, but no need to force anything. That's why an early goal for Bayern is so critical.
