But still Chelsea can't improve their game that doesn't change at all, so I think Chelsea will still be eliminated later because I doubt how Chelsea's game is still not impressive in any match.
They've certainly had a difficult time since Tuchel's sacking and with Potter not bringing any better and also with Lampard I've had to say this is a little skeptical on my part so Chelsea just need a change of management.
We have to stop talking about Thomas Tuchel, he's now history or isn't he the same Thomas Tuchel that's bottling his job at Bayern Munich. Tuchel success at Chelsea didn't have everything to do with his coaching skills instead the players were determined to win and they won games. If Thomas Tuchel was that good as we're all saying, why hasn't he replicated same wins with Bayern Munich or won the champion league with other top clubs that he has managed. Let take Real Madrid as an example, it doesn't matter which coach is present but they'll always do well in the champions league because it's a culture on the club.

As for the game against Real Madrid, it was a disappointing loss and I'm still surprised we could play that badly against Real Madrid and I put all the blame on Frank Lampard. His selections were all wrong, we could have sealed the fate of that game in the first few minutes of the game as we were having chances after chances but didn't have anyone that could score in the team. The team lacked a striker and Chelsea need to resolved this crises by signing someone that'll be winning to play even though we don't get champions league football next season. I think if Kai Havertz would had started that game, we would had gotten something from that game. I haven't lost hope though, 2:0 isn't that hard of a result to comeback from to progress.

Tuchel was certainly doing a better job compared to Graham Porter. I know he is not currently doing a fabulous job with his current team. But it has only been like two weeks with his new team. So I think we should give him time. But at the same time, I also agree with @Brainboss that everyone should stop talking about Chelsea and Thomas Tuchel. It is history. Chelsea will have to think about what is in the future for them.

I understand that 2 - 0 is not hard to overcome. But that would be true for a team like Real Madrid. Not a team like Chelsea under the current situation.

It's absolutely a huge insult to Thomas Tuchel when we compare him to Frank Lampard and that I think isn't even cool for football fans. The problem and poor results that Chelsea is currently facing is the lack of patience from the new owner Todd Boehly in sacking Thomas Tuchel because of his poor start to the season and I think he did that because he wasn't at the club's heirarchy when Tuchel was appointed. Chelsea would've been serious contenders in the biggest available competitions if he had allowed Tuchel to remain as the manager and support Tuchel by spending the same huge amount of money Chelsea has spent this in the last two transfer windows on Tuchel's preferred players.

A 0 - 2 defeat is still a lucky result for Chelsea as it was not a best day of Real Madrid attacking players. In their better days, they can score more goals to Chelsea and nail their position in Champions League semi final before their second meeting at Stamford Bridge.
Quite happy with this result, but actually I want Real Madrid to win by three goals. Two goals is not too much difference. Their second leg will be played at Stamford Bridge. We must remember how Dortmund had to fail to enter the quarterfinals. They failed to win at Stamford bridge. Anceloti should understand that. I hope they are in good shape and ready without injury in the second leg. This is because of my hope that they can win the UCL and of course the Copa Del Rey. So they will have three trophies this season.

Yes, 2 goals is not far enough away, so Real Madrid still have to make sure they don't lose focus in the second leg later. A Don Carlo seems to have understood things like this, because he is an experienced coach. He will not underestimate Chelsea, who have the conditions they are today. Borussia Dortmund should be a valuable lesson for them not to do the same.

Juventus recorded hard a hard 1-0 win against sporting. Federico Ghatti's strike was enough to give Juventus the winning they needed against sporting. Juventus has now extended their unbeaten home record of the UEFA Europa League to 14 matches with a 1-0 win over  Sporting in the first leg of their quarter-final tie. Juvee who has never lost at home in the UEL started the game on a very good and brilliant note having knockout the current leader of the English premier league Arsenal out of the competition. Much was expected from sporting the visitors who played with so much confidence in the ball were able to put Juventus under pressure and juvee were unable to hold on to possession which made them look vulnerable at times against their Portuguese visitor. Juventus had to dig deep before eventually, it paid off with them winning the game.

I was expecting to see more from Juventus because the only hope they have is to achieve something in the champions league Juventus was also playing a home where they got more benefits compared to Sporting, but Sporting had much more opportunities in this game to score goals which can be dangerous for Juventus to face than in the second half, Juventus should be more careful in the second half against Sporting.
The Juventus team was able to make the most of the opportunity to secure victory over Sporting. However, the Sporting team kept the Juventus team under great pressure but were unable to create any chances.

I'm not sure Chelsea will be able to turn things around in the second leg later, Real Madrid is a team that is strong enough to focus on the Champions League. Nothing special was done by Lampard in the first leg. Chelsea will be an easy opponent for Real Madrid if Chelsea game like the first leg will provide a great opportunity for Real Madrid to steal victory at Stamford Bridge.

On the other hand, I believe that Real Madrid are already in one place in the semifinals because a 0-2 advantage would mean a lot to them and it would be difficult for Chelsea to do the same.

Manchester city also has a place in the semifinals as a 3-0 win convinced me to say that.
Chelsea is a still as weak as they were before Lampard took over. Lampard is not a savior that just came in two weeks ago and will be able to fix the club in a proper shape, this is impossible.

Let me not even think of Chelsea winning Real Madrid in Stamford bridge, because I know that Real Madrid will still win them. Real Madrid is a club that is not scared of winning a team in It's home because they can win you anywhere both at home and away. If it was a different club that will play with Chelsea, I can sayof Chelsea might luckily win the second leg but not playing with Real Madrid.

Chelsea's problem is that now they have to concentrate on the game against Brighton. Brighton are strong this season + they have a huge motivation to score points as they are in the European Cup zone and clearly do not want to leave it. Chelsea can't afford to lose or draw this home game as it will make another bottom break. Therefore, despite the fact that in the tournament sense this game is not important, Chelsea must play it to the maximum. And after that, they will play with Real Madrid, which already have a two-goal lead.
Yes, that should be the next focus for Lampard to win in the EPL match. I'm not sure they will be able to provide resistance for Brighton considering Brighton have been quite good this season. Even though this is a tough match, the quality of the teams is very different from the depth of the two. Especially for Lampard, he had to give Chelsea the first win after he was shown to be Chelsea interim coach.

I'm sure it's a lot of pressure on Lampard after the two Chelsea defeats under his tutelage. He has to prove that Chelsea can end this bad streak even if the draw is important they don't lose and that's what Lampard has to think about.

Aubameyang can still be counted on because he has better quality than Joao Felix and Lampard must give him this opportunity against Brighton.

All teams finished their first league matches in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. Considering their strength, some teams are far ahead in the fight to go to the semi-finals. On the 19th and 20th, all the teams will finish the second league matches. After the second league game, it will be confirmed who will go to the semi-finals and who will be eliminated from the quarter-finals.

I give a very small chance for Bayern Munich to surprise everyone by making a comeback from this bad situation for themselves. Because Manchester City seem very determined to make it to the title this season and this 3-0 advantage should be very helpful for them to qualify for the semi-finals as well. As long as they keep the same discipline in their game then there shouldn't be any problem.
I agree with you. Although it is not impossible for Bayern Munich to come back, but it seems very small chance. Man City already leads with 3 goals, and they look very dominant in the previous match. So, I assume Man City also will dominate the match in 2nd Leg although it will be in Bayern home. Man City seems better in midfield and attacking line, so they can make more shoot attempts. While Bayern only won the ball possession, their attackers look quite weak and their midfielders can't give enough assists.
Bayern Munich are a long way behind Manchester City at the end of the first league game. Bayern Munich were defeated by three goals in the first league. In other words, to confirm the next round, Bayan Munich must score four more goals.  To score more than four goals against a team like Manchester City is very unlikely. Assuming Bayern Munich manage to score four goals in the Second League against Manchester City but expect Manchester City to keep a clean sheet? That is, in the second league, if Bayan Munich is able to score 4 goal, and on the contrary, if Manchester City is able to score two goals, then Manchester City will qualify for the semi-finals.
So it is very difficult for Bayern Munich to survive in the Champions League.

Juventus managed to win the match after not performing well against Sporting. In the match, the Sporting team was relatively ahead, but the team secured the victory through the clever tactics of the players of the Juventus team.

The games did not seem boring to me, the one I saw well was the one between Real Madrid and Chelsea, I wanted to see how Chelsea played in this instance, Lampard also did not do badly as a coach, although Chelsea has the resources to hire a technical director with much more experience, they are trusting him, but if we compare him with Madrid and Ancelotti, they still have a long way to go, although they lost with those two goals they didn't look so bad, they looked worse with Potter, here things change , Chelsea still have to improve, let's wait and see what they come up with so that they can show a greater improvement.

Real leave Chelsea down but not out

-snip
for me it seems that Chelsea in this league is very bad, as people are busy talking about that Lampard as a Chelsea coach has also tried his best to make his players better but somehow it doesn't give satisfactory results for Chelsea fans. in yesterday's match lost against Madrid it was clearly very bad with several defeats.
I think is this all a mistake in the formation used by Chelsea is very bad and should change the formation.

and my last thought, if Chelsea's performance gets worse isn't Lampard also in danger of being sacked by the management team?

You can almost see that this is the season Pep Guardiola finally wins the champions league with Manchester City. Bayern are known for their spirit and power when they play at their home ground, but not this time. The chance of Manchester City not scoring away is very small considering that Bayern will risk playing an over offesive game since they need 4 goals to pass to the semi finals. I expect Halaand to score yet again against them. Also, problems inside the bayern's dressing room is making it even more difficult as Sadio Mané is given a one match ban after punching his teammate Leroy Sané after the defeat against Man City in the first leg.
On the other hand, Real Madrid with it's power and experience will definetly qualify to the semis. We will be witnessing a very exciting match in the semi finals between Real Madrid and Manchester city.
man city have been through six time to quarter final in the champions league after city's near misses in recent year the 2021 final and semi final last year it seems to many that a fit and firing specialist was all that was missing  I think the coming of Haaland have filled that gap they would certainly have few excuses for another failure this time around but it is not going to be simple while Haaland has been doing what he was brought for to do in the club, Guardiola had built a fully fit team with the team fully fit there is  no need not feel confident. Other club will certainly wish not to have them paired with the city. I see them winning it.

Man city performance in the playoffs was really impressive they destroyed two german teams with big scores and it seems that they are determined to win the champions league this season, they will likely face real madrid one of the champions league experts but am not sure even they can beat them this time.
It's caused by pep fully focusing with UCL. Pep is still targeting manchester city to win EPL this season. That's why pep didn't wanna miss an opportunity to beat manchester city with huge scores. Tuchel got so many critics toward him. How in the hall coach that wanna see his team lose against another team at home? Real madrid has bigger chance to win over chelsea since real madrid is now leading the match with 2 goal as aggregates that needs to be surpassed by chelsea. Pep was using any opportunities that available during the match against bayern in etihad stadium.
He will not try to repeat the same mistake. Pep is now also having haaland on his side. that makes him less worried to face the strong team in the upcoming match.

Madrid will become the toughest opponent for manchester city this season. It will be so good if chelsea will able to come back against real madrid. That will create a different atmosphere in UCL where the final will be repeated again between city and chelsea.
Seeing how manchester city was destroying bayern 3-0 in the final scores make me feel as if bayern has small chance to be qualified for semifinal.

Bayern has no choice other than fully offensive to create so many goals against manchester city.

The only team in the Champions League I was not expected to see at this stage is Chelsea because they had a bad performance in the previous weeks and I was expecting to see Dortmund at this stage instead of them but regarding the other teams, I guess we can see Manchester City and Napoli at the final match because they both are doing very well, especially Napoli because they have enough time to get recovery from the Serie A games and get themselves ready for champions league games.
Of course it would be very interesting if Napoli could be in the Champions League final this season against Manchester City (and even if Manchester City could beat Bayern Munich and also Real Madrid) because I'm also not sure that Chelsea can hold Real Madrid from advancing to the next round because Chelsea's performance this season is not very good and also not on par with other teams who are still in the Champions League now.
Chelsea is the least club in performance among this other clubs,  I'm still surprised how Chelsea managed to be able to remain in Champions league even with their  bad performance. Napoli performance in the Champions league is what I enjoy much I never expected Napoli to be among the best team in the Champions league. It will be nice to see Napoli in the finals, if Napoli reach finals they might win the the champions league. Napoli has become my favourite team in Champions league.

It's incredible but what you're saying you're absolutely right, for me it's one of the things that needs to be improved right now, it's like something with Potter, because I see that he's a very good trainer and he also has a lot of vision, but I don't know what It's what doesn't fit in that team, they have world-class players, they are young, famous, they have everything to be the best team and they can't, so of course it makes me think that the one who is failing is also Potter , there are only very few victories and in the decisive ones they must come out with the best strategy, now the challenge with Madrid in the UCL will be something good, because we will know who is who here.

Boring results at first sight tonight. Still, Chelsea wasn't that bad. You can see that they keep getting better and better. 2-0 is certainly not a hopeless mission for Chelsea in London in 2 weeks. And AC Milan won at home, but Napoli brought this on himself by not expressing the field dominance in goals. Enough ball possession and position play, but the strikers did not shoot sharply from Napoli today. I think it's now 50-50% who goes through to the next round. But AC Milan has a lot of perspective with this 1-0 victory. Recently they already won 0-4 at Napoli, so what will it be soon in Naples? Would be a huge disappointment for Napoli if they went out against an Italian team.

Quote
A scoreline that could have been much worse, but from a match that fully showed how emphatically superior Real Madrid were.

Chelsea may well have seen a two-goal deficit as some way respectable before this game, given everything that has happened for both of these clubs in the last year, but the reality is they are going to have to overcome a lot more than that.

Frank Lampard will no doubt point to how they were two goals down to Napoli in that season-turning tie back in 2011-’12 but this isn’t 2012 and Real Madrid very much are not that Napoli.

I completely forgot to share the returns of my bets from the last quarterfinal matches of champions league. Lucky me all my predictions were correct Xd, and the matches were so entertaining to watch. Most of the teams i can say that they ended things early in the first leg and heading to the semi-finals, except for AC Milan against Napoli which is not an easy match to predict even with Napoli's absences due to red and double yellow cards they had in first match, that’s why this match will be my favorite in leg two which is coming up next week.

I will put my guessing and bets like this:
Chelsea 1:2 Real Madrid
Napoli 1:1 Ac Milan
Bayern Munich 2:3 Manchester City
Inter 3:0 Benfica

So, I assume Man City also will dominate the match in 2nd Leg although it will be in Bayern home. Man City seems better in midfield and attacking line, so they can make more shoot attempts. While Bayern only won the ball possession, their attackers look quite weak and their midfielders can't give enough assists.
