Chelsea will definitely try to perform at their best. And to repeat the events of 2020-21. In the 2020–21 season, they did not perform well in the Premier League but won the Champions League title. But this season the scenario is slightly different. Chelsea's overall condition is very poor. Their weaknesses in both attack and defense are quite visible. They also lost against Wolves in their last Premier League match. Is it possible to beat Madrid with such a poor performance?

I think this will be the very first time I'll be writing with some fear in me concerning this champions league game against Real Madrid. Frankly I thought the new manager factor will play in favour of Chelsea and we end up winning that game against wolves even though we have found it very difficult defeating them even when we're in our best form. The game was just a disappointment as that game has killed many fans hope they had for the champion league game. If we had win that game convincingly, I won't be here writing with such calmness in me. Real Madrid are a good side but not one Chelsea should be scared of.

Villarreal defeated Real Madrid in yesterday game so it isn't like they're undefeatable but one advantage Real Madrid has is that they can score goals meanwhile Chelsea looks like they don't know where to find the goal post to put the ball at the back of the net. Nobody in the squad can score and our only striker, Aubameyang isn't even eligible for the champion league squad because he wasn't registered and yet goalless players were registered. Well I just hope the game falls in Chelsea's favor because if we were to lose, then it'll be impossible to perform a comeback.

Real Madrid will undoubtedly be favorites against Chelsea. Not only is Real Madrid in good form, but their squad is also very experienced. At the same time, coach Ancelotti is very experienced. Ancelotti knows very well how to perform in a competitive league like the Champions League. He can spot the opponent's weaknesses, and tailor his match strategy accordingly. Since Madrid's chances of winning the La Liga title are almost non-existent, their only target now should be the Champions League title.

After losing hope of the La Liga title race to Barcelona, Real Madrid's focus will definitely be on the Champions League. We know they're very good in the Champions League and have a lot of experience in it. They have a fantastic coach and a fantastic team to help them win the game. Chelsea, their opponent, are currently in poor form. They recently changed coach, and we all thought he would improve the team, but after his first match with the team, he failed to secure a win.

Quote
Chelsea's performances have been erratic but this team is strong. And so Madrid must play carefully. Try to dominate from the beginning of the match. Chelsea's players will not get a chance to score in this match if Madrid starts to dominate. Even so, Chelsea's attacking performance is very poor.

This is the Champions League, and it may be different from the domestic league in which they are competing. They, like Real Madrid, have a good track record in this league too. With their Champions League record, we can't be so sure Real Madrid will easily defeat them. They were performing poorly in the league prior to advancing to this stage, but they still defeated a team that was performing well in their domestic league to do so. We can't afford to underestimate any of the team at this point.

Real Madrid can not take this form to the champions league the only competition for them to win is Copa Del Reey
They have all to do against Chelsea but how far will they procede with that form.
Chelsea also can not go very far with Lampard in charge the owners are not taking good decisions, four coaches in a particular season

Real Madrid's defense isn't as solid as it was back in the Sergio Ramos era, but on the other hand they do have Benzema in the striker position. And Modric is still incredibly good despite his age and the 2 together have managed to decide many games for Real Madrid. Against Chelsea it can still be bad, I can remember a game 1 or 2 seasons ago where Chelsea had tied Real Madrid and Real Madrid was about to be eliminated, but then Benzema showed his best side and Real Madrid still managed to advance to the next round. That Chelsea cannot be compared to the team that is now on the field.

I think that Real Madrid vs. Chelsea deserves no less attention as most people here think that Real Madrid will win that one easy, but I don't think so.

After today's loss I don't think Real Madrid is heavy favorite against Chelsea, they are one step ahead but nothing more. Ancelotti thought about doing some rotation and that cost them a loss at home. Their minds are in Chelsea game I get it but this defense is alarming. If they give away too many positions to opponents they eventually concede some goals.
Chelsea changed their manager one more time and this is Lampard's chance to prove himself. Their target game wasn't today's Wolves game, it's Real game. I don't care about this loss, they weren't in a position like Real had. A good result in Santiago Bernabeu may raise their hopes so I think they'll give a lot of importance to the first match especially.
I'm with you on the Real Madrid defense situation. If they don't buckle up in the back, Chelsea's gonna give them a tough time for sure. But hey, we're talkin about Real Madrid here – they've got a truckload of history and Champions League know-how.

Ancelotti's move to shuffle the deck against Villarreal? Spot on. Gotta keep the crew sharp and hungry for that big Chelsea face-off. So they took an L, but it ain't no apocalypse. La Liga's crown is long gone, so the Champions Leageu's where it's at.

Chelsea's got a fresh boss, sure, but they're still packin' talent and a mean defense. It's gonna be a nail-biter, but my money's on Real Madrid to snatch the win. If they stay cool, collected, and play their A-game, victory's within reach.

I expect Real Madrid and Manchester City to go to the final unless they meet in the semi-finals. Because I think these two teams are the best of the current Champions League teams. In addition, the coaches of these two teams are very experienced person.

It is not easy to predict which team will win the Champions League title. Because the favorite team does not always win the Champions League. PSG, Munich, and Manchester City have been favorites for the Champions League title in the last few seasons. But they could not win the title. Chelsea won the title in the 2020–21 season. But no one imagined that Chelsea would win the title. Madrid and Manchester City seem to favorite this season as well. But every team in the quarter-finals is strong enough this season. And so it cannot be said for sure which team will be the champion this year.
When Chelsea won the Champions League in previous season their performance was not bad as this. The winner of the champions League this season will be any of the three favorite team which is Real Madrid,  Bayern Munich and Manchester City.  Chelsea is far from winning Champions league.
It's true what you said that Chelsea at that time was much better and stable. Now that they are far from hopeful, they always get negative results even in games that should be easy for them. I don't rule out their chances of becoming champions, but I just think it's realistic to see what's happening with Chelsea right now. I think them being in this stage is also an achievement, because judging by the performance I don't think they deserve this place.

Ancelotti knew what he was doing and even though he rotated on six positions compared to the game before, it was still not a bad team on the pitch and they could have won the game. Anyway, I think nobody expected from Ancelotti to make his team go all out against Villareal when they know that they are soon going to be playing against Chelsea. I would have done the same. The focus must be on the Champions League and even the fans will understand that and accept a defeat against Villareal if that means they can be up against Chelsea in a better physical condition.

Chelsea has a strong team with a clueless manager. They swapped one average coach for another. I have always been clamoring for Chelsea to sack Potter, when they finally did, they hired Lampard as an interim coach, who does that? Lampard was awful for Chelsea in his second season although he was better than Potter.  With Lampard as Chelsea's coach, they will get ripped apart by Real Madrid. I'm not saying this because of how Chelsea is but also because of how much experience Ancelotti and Madrid have in this competition, especially at this stage. It will take a miracle for Chelsea to knock out Madrid.
You are correct. If Chelsea add a good coach to the team this time, hopefully the team will become even stronger. Currently, the team has some serious problems, which can be attributed to the weakness of the coach.

Chelsea has had three competent coaches in the last several months; do you think the problem is with the coaches or with the players? I was shocked Lampard didn't bring in Kante yesterday; what was he thinking? Chelsea has brought in new players since Potter was appointed manager of the club, and I think it is the players who need more time to practice exclusively and get their selves together because right now, I can't say whether it is the coach or the players who are at fault, and now that Real Madrid has lost to Villareal, I hope they don't bring the aggression to Chelsea when they meet.

talking about real madrid, they are an unpredictable team, their epic comeback will give everyone a big surprise, just look at how they humiliated Barcelona in the last El Clasico match with a score of 4-0, after being humiliated several times by Barcelona

apart from madrid, bayern is also a very tough team, especially now that they are being handled by tuchel, so the chance for Bayern to win the champions league is also very big
Madrid is indeed difficult to predict against a great club and has beaten it like Barcelona, but I think against Chelsea later it will not be difficult for Madrid to get rid of him because Chelsea's performance has been very bad since Potter left who was also replaced temporarily by Lampard did not make the slightest change even because yesterday they lost against Newcastle, so since seeing the way they played yesterday it was really not convincing to qualify for the UCL to the next round.

To be honest, I also hope that Osimhen can appear to strengthen Napoli against Milan later. We know that Osimhen has been absent twice in domestic league matches and that is quite doubtful for Napoli. But if indeed Napoli gives long enough time to recover from injury, I think it's a very good decision. I already miss the Napoli duo Osimhen and kvaratskhelia, I hope to see them both contributing goals and assists as usual.

It seems like that osimhen was showing good recovery for his injury. Spalletti was just giving the latest update about him

Quote
Spalletti has however stated that the Nigeria international is in line to face the current Serie A champions at the San Siro.

“Tomorrow there is no chance, we go to the following week with the work schedule. For the following matches there are many possibilities from a programming point of view, but you have to wait for the practical development of the work,” Spalletti told a press conference.
https://www.completesports.com/spalletti-offers-positive-injury-update-on-osimhen-pre-ac-milan/

I hope that osimhen will be fully playing against ac milan in san siro. Osimhen has become the key for napoli to beat ac milan as osimhen was always able to score lots of goals against any team. The performance from napoli without him is decreasing a lot. I meant we must also try to aware about how osimhen has become the top scorer of serie a right now.

Im glad that spalletti was just giving a good update about his injury. It will be so good to see him play against ac milan in the first leg of UCL in san siro

Were they more favorite than Real Madrid in the past season? What ending did they have and what did Real Madrid achieve in the past season?
We all know about that and again, we can not under estimate in this season. Especially let's see how Real Madrid destroyed Barcelona at Camp Nou last weekend.
Yes, the previous season Bayern Munich, PSG and Manchester City were more favored than Real Madrid, even Real Madrid become a champion, it still not make people think Real Madrid has the highest chance to win. Real Madrid mostly become an underdog against a popular club, Real Madrid bettors were making a lot money in the previous season.
I think the struggling of Real Madrid become a champion in the previous season make people think other clubs are better. So Real Madrid need to prove in this season if the previous season wasn't a fluke.

It is not easy to predict which team will win the Champions League title. Because the favorite team does not always win the Champions League. Real Madrid has the opportunity to win the Champions League again this season, at first why there were doubts about them because they also saw how they were not so good in the league but when they were past the group phase they began to show themselves as one of the best and deserve to be reckoned with, and victory against Liverpool at Anfield with a big score even though they had been trailing 0-2 that made them even more favorites for this season, plus the draw for the quarterfinals was a little advantage because they met Chelsea which was very bad this season and the change of coach has not made any significant changes and against Real Madrid will be a miracle if Chelsea can get rid of Madrid and I'm not sure there will be a miracle in this quarter-final, and aside from Madrid, Bayern are the other favorites so City will be eliminated in this quarter-final.

In the last few years, Real has been playing much better in cup competitions than in the national championship, and that is no accident.
Real's coaches have not been building a system and organization of the game for a long time, but rely much more on the individual quality of the players.
In the championship, such shortcomings cannot be hidden for long and Real always have problems, but in the Champions League it is much easier for Real because they only need to focus on a few of the most important games in the season.
In such situations, Real players have a lot of experience and confidence and always play at the highest level.
This is why Real should never be underestimated in the Champions League, regardless of the weaker games in the national championship.
This is indeed very wide open for Real Madrid to continue advancing to the next round. Facing Chelsea, whose current condition is not very favorable, will be a big capital for Real Madrid. However, after being able to come out victorious, Real Madrid must be prepared to face stronger clubs, whether it's Man City or Bayern Munich, I think this is where the test is the most beat. Last season Madrid could still excel, but this season the strength of Man City or Bayern Munich is clearly very different and it will be very difficult to predict.

If in the match later Osimhen will still be absent due to injury, then Milan's chances will be slightly superior in this match. It was clear from the meeting between the two of them in the domestic league, how difficult it was for Napoli to score a goal in that match and they had to be willing without being able to score a single goal. What is clear is that Napoli's defense also needs to be repaired ahead of the first leg match against Milan in the QF round later, it could be the same destruction as before if Spalletti fails to fix it.
Osimhen injury isn't that bad and I think he will be ready to be back on the pitch when he takes on AC Milan in the UCL. but there is no definite certainty because anything can happen meaning that if the recovery goes well then he will return quickly to the team but if there are problems during the recovery period then I am sure he will be absent when facing AC Milan in the UCL.

for ac milan maybe the absence of osimhen will be used as best as possible for them to play aggressively like they did in the serie A when they beat napoli with a score of 0-4. the first leg will take place at the sansiro which is an advantage for ac milan to win if they are able to play well.
To be honest, I also hope that Osimhen can appear to strengthen Napoli against Milan later. Regardless of whether Victor Osimhen is absent or not, I hope that Napoli will not fixate on their striker. I mean if they only rely on the sharpness of Victor Osimhen it will keep them from doing well. They are a team with 11 players on the pitch, so even if Osimhen is out they still have players available. I don't deny Osimhen's contribution to Napoli, but they can't just rely on one player.

I'm sure no one thinks that Real Madrid won the Champions League last season by chance because they were able to beat a top team not just once but since the quarter-finals they were not favorites but in fact they were able to answer this doubt.
What Real Madrid has done on the Champions League stage is inseparable from the high and good mentality of this team and the mentality of the Real Madrid team above other teams.
Likewise this season, Real Madrid is not more favored than Bayern or Manchester City, but no one dares to underestimate Real Madrid because it is very possible for them to repeat the same thing as last season.

Chelsea's defense is very weak. But not only the defense, but Chelsea's overall performance is also weak. This team is not able to perform well especially due to the lack of any specific good match strategy. However, if Chelsea's defensive players do not play well against Real Madrid, they have no chance of winning. Real Madrid is in great form right now. Madrid has probably scored 10 goals in their last two matches. Both Vii and Benzema are in good form now. And so it will be very difficult for Chelsea to counter Madrid's attacks. Today Real Madrid will play against Wolves in the Premier League match. I am looking forward to seeing how Madrid performs in this match.
no, don't get me wrong that Chelsea is also currently trying to plan to have a strong performance to meet Real Madrid and at least Chelsea can beat Banzema that will be much better.
because at the moment Banzema is the best player from Real Madrid who must really be guarded because surprisingly he is always looking for loopholes to score goals.
In the upcoming match maybe Chelsea won't look convincing but I'm sure Chelsea will be able to give their best performance and at least be able to draw.
even though if you look at the Spanish League matches, Real Madrid has decreased performance and this is what is a concern for Real Madrid fans, they are afraid that in the Champions League, Madrid will lose to Chelsea.

Real Madrid is in very good form. The players are very confident now. And unless they make a big mistake against Chelsea, I don't see any chance of Madrid losing against Chelsea. I think Madrid will dominate and win.
Chelsea's performance in Premier league won't be anything different if they meet with Real Madrid. Chelsea won't make any good attempts to win real madrid. From previous games of chelsea even with weak teams it has been difficult for them to win  their games.  Real Madrid will easily beat Chelsea.

Between themselves Chelsea has the upper hand in the last five head to head meetings
Real Madrid must have dropped some players for Chelsea to rest
But I am still not sure Chelsea are set to win with Lampard in charge the next five game's will be dramatic
