Before now, I was expecting Manchester City to defile all odds and beat Bayern which I know would have been a difficult task for them but now that Thomas Tuchel has taken over it will be more difficult task for the Citizens. The tie will be Pep Guardiola's biggest test of the season and he must prove to Manchester City's heirarchy that he's equal to the task

The UEFEA competition is mainly for elite clubs with full incredible performance. Countlessly are aiming at the cup but there are clubs that have high points of probability to lift the cup, team like Real Madrid. It's on a different level when we see the Los blancos performance in UCL games, they're serious compared to other European clubs. Talking about Chelsea having a zero chance to beat real Madrid, I absolutely think we should wait until the Los blancos eliminate the blues from UCl before jumping into conclusion.

Personally, I don’t see Pep depending solely on a player and I wouldn’t advise depending on a single player. Tuchel is a great coach he has a pretty good strategy in his coaching career. one of these factors may be their preparation to face Manchester City in the quarter-finals and most likely the match between Bayern Munich vs Manchester City will be even more fierce with the presence of Tuchel in the Bayern Munich team.

I think Tuchel will be a coach who is quite influential for the team he coaches, especially in the Champions League where Tuchel was very successful with Chelsea after delivering the UCL trophy in the 2020-2021 season. So, can Tuchel make another surprise in the Champions League this season, it's worth watching.

Benfica - Inter matchup is a candidate to be a really competitive one honestly. Besides it has been a very long time since these teams played against each other the last time. I mean it was like 19 years ago. Grin

Therefore I'm curious about which side can outweigh the other here. I guess they would like to weigh themselves first in the first leg. The match is in Portugal so Inter would play more safe I assume.

It would be for the benefit of them also. Because Benfica are a team that are really strong in their attacking line. They have been really productive so far in the season. They need to get as good advantage as possible home to be able to do better in Italy later on. But it is still doubtful if they can do this or have the same scenario as Porto.

Against Bayern is a nightmare in the Champions League. even PSG, which is filled with star players, must admit Bayern's superiority over them. Bayern have never even lost since the group stage and also in the round of 16. Bayern won all the matches in the group stage and in the round of 16 without leaving a draw there. that's an achievement that I think is difficult for other teams to emulate. so I see that even Man City will have difficulty competing against Bayern in the quarter-finals later. if Mbappe and Messi can be overcome by Bayern. then they can certainly handle a Haaland too. this might be a tough match. but I see Bayern could be superior.

Looking at Benfica's journey in the Champions League this season, they are actually in a group inhabited by strong clubs, but they managed to compete with Juventus and Paris Saint Germain and came out as group winners. In the round of 16 their task was not too difficult because they got the opponent Club Brugge. In the first leg they were 2-0 up and in the second they were able to beat Club Brugge without difficulty. Now they will face Inter Milan, one of the giant clubs from Serie A. This will be a difficult match for them to advance to the next round. Not only for Benfica, but the same is felt for Inter Milan.

Even though these two teams are starting to lose hope in their respective leagues this season, the two are very different in terms of achievements and expectations. Because Real Madrid still has the chance to still appear in the Champions League next season if it fails in the Champions League this season. Meanwhile, Chelsea still has to fight from the top ten in the Premier League in order to achieve better results this season, and one more thing is that Real Madrid still has another hope of winning the Copa Del Rey trophy this season even though the opponent is the toughest rival.
