Maybe no one thought that Real Madrid would face Chelsea again in the quarter-finals, considering that the two met in the same round last season. Then there is Benfica who will play against Inter, it seems this is the first time for the two teams to meet in a UCL match. Then, there was Manchester City against Bayern Munich, both of which met in the UCL group phase of the 13/14 season. Then there was the last Milan against Napoli, the two also met for the first time in the UCL match and this was a match for the Italian club in the quarter final round.
If we look at the semifinal draw, I think there are several possibilities that we will see Napoli vs Benfica and Real Madrid vs Manchester City in the semifinals later.
I would not want to pick a favorite out of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Manchester City, but for all of them they couldn't have picked a harder route to the final. For Bayern, they would have to beat Manchester City and then probably Real Madrid. It can't get harder than that. But it also couldn't get any harder for Manchester City and Real Madrid either.
The allegedly weaker teams play against each other with Benfica Lissabon against Inter and Napoli against Milan. I think Napoli is a big favorite here and I would also say that Benfica is not to be underestimated either. They have been very solid so far and play some dangerous offensive soccer.

The UEFA Champion League quarterfinal draw results have been determined as shown here by friends. There are some interesting things from the draw. The results of this draw were indeed very unexpected for Manchester City to face Bayern Munich. Moreover, Chelsea is very difficult to get out easily if the opponent is Real Madrid. The strength that Napoli has this season in two different competitions, namely in the Champions League and also Serie A, has been so extraordinary that I put Napoli as the strongest candidate to enter the Champions League final because in Serie A it is very certain that Napoli will get the trophy. I think that not only Real Madrid is capable of doing that for Napoli, but Bayern Munich also has the ability to do this for Napoli even though they have to really fight to beat Napoli who this season have made very good results in most matches so it is clear that Napoli should not be underestimated for this season in the Champions League although this is a very different thing to last season for Napoli. What exactly tells you that Real Madrid is any better than Napoli right now? Sure you can look at it historically and say that Real Madrid has so many titles while Napoli has none, but that doesn't make sense right in this moment. Except if you argue that the experience sets Real Madrid apart from the rest. That might perhaps be a point, but I would say that that comes into play especially in the final of this tournament, not so much in a quarter or semi final.

Napoli have had easier matches compared to Real Madrid. Real Madrid play in 1 of the best leagues in the world and Napoli does not. Real Madrid have better players in every position then Napoli. I am not saying that Napoli does not have a chance of winning the competition but Real Madrid have a history in the Champions League as the most successful team ever and if you look at how they are playing they are playing amazing football against better teams then Napoli. Even if all teams had a chance to make it to the finals I think one or two of the four finals favorites would enter. I'd expect Real Madrid to be in the final, but I wouldn't be too eager to say if we weren't really good in the quarter-finals. Are you really still impressed by their performances? They have played the first leg against Frankfurt so brutally effective and strong that this performance didn'T surprise me whatsoever. For me personally they are one of the favorites for the Champions League title by now without a doubt. They are too constant to be underestimated now. It's not a team that had some lucky games over the course of the season. They control every single game and the few points they lost in the Serie A wasn't because they were the weaker team, it was just because things didn't play out that well that day.

I have hardly seen a team that plays soccer so disciplined as Napoli is playing this season. You just can't create chances against them, and if you do be guaranteed that they are perfectly set up to counter your attack successfully. It is impressive to watch their games.

Real Madrid are a more better team compared to Liverpool who have been beaten by Real Madrid four times in a row in their last head to head meetings. I wonder how long Liverpool will be dominated by Real Madrid and being kicked out of the tournament, obviously Liverpool will finish the season without a trophy.
Theirs hopes were finally destroyed, it was quite a shame that they couldn't even score in the second leg, Liverpool were completely different from last season where they could still get to the final even though they lost in the end.
